what I mean by the tales of games are games like this one: Posted Image

I have played 2 "tales of" games. One of which is Tales of Graces^. I have played and finished the game last year. It is my favorite "tales of" game by the way. Right now I'm currently playing Tales of the Abyss and I haven't finished the game yet obviously .

  • Any Tales fan should know that Xillia 2 has the best story in the series, hands down.

  • That's simple.   Luke Fon Fabre's name means "Light of the Sacred Flame" Asch changed his name to distinguish himself from Luke, since he was no longer Luke Fon Fabre. The name Asch sounds like "Ash

I've been looking at other forums and people have been saying that there are subteams within the Tales of Team. Can anybody tell me what they are because  I want make sure if this is like a fact or not.

Never heard of that until right now

It should be similar to how the Kingdom Hearts series has its own branch in SE

It's the symphonia team and vesperia team if I recall correctly. The easiest way to way to tell the difference is the skits. The symphonia team use face portraits while the vesperia team use full body portraits.

Wasn't there a recently added called theTales of Graces team, the team worked on the battle system for Graces and Zesteria?

Yeah, there's Team Destiny and Team Symphonia. Team Symphonia has done things like Abyss, Vesperia, and (obviously) Symphonia. Team Destiny did stuff like Graces, Rebirth, and Destiny.

From what it looks like though (from my few minutes of research), it seems like these teams aren't actually a thing anymore. Since Xillia it appears that they've all become one.

that's sort of true, but Tales of Zestiria is going to have gameplay similar to that of Graces so the the teams still might exist.

I think the game that had the best team is the abyss team. All of their backgrounds and personalities are deep that it made the story even better and deeper.

The only one I've finnished, ToS: DotNW (Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World).

I've always wanted to get into the Tales' games, but it looks like I'm cursed or something; there's always something stopping me from beeing able to obtain them XDDD.

Tales of Xillia's party is my favorite,I cared about all the characters in the Xillia games, they were all very interesting and the games spends a lot of time exploring each character which I like.

I looked all over the internet and I can't seem to find the person(s) who makes the storylines for the tales games. I'm not even sure if there is more than one person who makes the storylines for the games.

You have to look for a certain director for each title as i know that Bandai Namco doesn't really rely on one Director for the Tales Series

If you don't know Takumi Miyajima was the person who wrote the story for Tales of Symphonia, Abyss, and Symphonia 2. All of those stories for the games were really deep and interesting. I'm fine if someone else does it, but it would just be awesome if he gets to write the script for Tales of Berseria.

This have been bothering me even since I've play tales of xillia. That game has the least colorful artstyle in my opinion. I'm not saying I hate it though. It seems like they were going in the right direction with previous games that came out before it,especially with Tales of Vesperia. It has the most colorful artsyle in the whole series.

It's a sign of the shifting aesthetic. If you look back, bright, vibrant colors where commonplace in the '90s, but in the new millennium there has been a shift to more toned down colors. Clearly that aesthetic has spread East.
