I've heard many rumors and theories that Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII will be in KH3. I know it's not official, but it's nice to think about. Lightning is one of my favorite Final Fantasy characters but that leaves her role. Will she be with Cloud & Leon in the Restoration Committee? In the Mount Olympus world like Cloud, Auron & Zack Fair were in the Colosseum? A secret boss like Sephiroth? Personally I feel like she should do something to effect the story but also make her either a party member or summon. What do you guys think?

 

But off of the rumors, I've also had the idea of including the Warrior of Light in KH3 sense he is the first protagonist of the series and this is most likely going to be the biggest title in the Kingdom Hearts series, we'd be going full circle.

 

Or even better a world based on Final Fantasy Dissidia where you can fight along side many characters from Final Fantasy I-XV (Addiing XV even if it makes no appearance in the Dissidia series which is insane!) fight many Final Fantasy villains and most importantly Chaos, Cosmos and....Kefka ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) And Finally giving a world from the Final Fantasy series. Also think about summoning things like Chocobos, Black Mages, White Mages & Cactuars.

 

What are your thoughts?

 

It wouldn't be bad a side quest (like, the FF characters would be secret bosses).

 

By the way, I guess you already know, but WoL, as you know him from Dissidia, isn't the same person as the FFI main character; he didn't even need to be a warrior (he could be a WM, BM, RM, Thief or Monk), and he doesn't even have a personality. So technicaly he isn't FFI's main character, but rather Dissidia's.

I like the idea of FF summons.

Now you make me think the entire plot of KH3 is going to be traveling from world to world looking for a Warrior of Light only to discover that he/she was within our midst all along. Which would be dumb.

 

Anyway, I'd like to see Lightning in some capacity, since it might inspire me to play those games. Then again, that didn't happen with KH2, so...

I doubt a Dissidia world would work, seeing as how the point of the series is to integrate Square characters into the Disney and original worlds rather than the other way around. And personally, I'd just much rather have Sora in a Dissidia game instead, just him disconnected from all the Disney stuff for once and have him interact with the other protagonists, maybe even having some odd deja-vu moments with Squall, Cloud, Tidus, Tiffa, and Sephiroth.

 

But I'm sure we'll get Lightning in the game in some form, it wouldn't make much sense not to. So far the only characters that have been appearing have been ones that Nomura directly worked on, so I'm not sure as to whether we might see anyone from any games earlier than FF6. But seeing as how he worked on adapting them for Dissidia, maybe there's a shot of them getting in as they are depicted in that game. Really though it would just be fun to see characters like Tidus, Selffie, and Wakka kicking ass with their original universe weapons again.

Definitely, I would also love to see some of the FF10 characters like Tidus final fight on their own. As for Sora in Dissidia, it is all possible if Square decides to add guest characters from their other franchises like Kingdom Hearts & The World Ends with You, but they might have to go through Disney first. While Square develops the games and Tetsuya created the characters they are technically owned by Disney due to the contract made at the beginning of the series.

I almost forgot about Noctis, and it would more sense too because both KH3 and FFXV come out around a similar time frame
