(sorry it took me so damn long)

 

The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. It is often when adolescents follow in the paths of their parents. They try to live up to the shadows their parents cast. As heroes and villains from many different tales live their lives, many opt to settle down and eventually have children. Despite this however, villians were still a threat and were exiled along with their families to live on an island known as the Forgotten Isle. The heroes and their families populate a small happy town known as Fatefaire in the mainlands.

 

As the years passed, it was questioned whether it was fair to allow the kin of the villains to live their lives exiled away on the island. And so the Fatefaire Teenager Program was established. The program allows the children of the Forgotten Isle to come live in in the mainlands and have a chance to start a new life in Fatefaire. There, the children will go to Fatefaire Academy along with the other Farefaire Residents, and coexist with them.

 

You are an adolescent. You may be the child of a hero, or a villain. No matter what, the apple may not fall far from the tree… But you still have your own choices to make. And your own path to follow.

 

Rules:

Your pairings may be of Kingdom Hearts, and Disney. (Final Fantasy and The World Ends with You are accepted. Crossover pairings are allowed.)

You may claim two pairings as your own for your characters. It can only be one hero pairing and one villain pairing.

You may also have sibling characters with other roleplayers. You must ask permission and if they no it's no.

You may have twins.

You may control the characters of the pairing you claimed (the parents) if you have a roleplayer who controls a sibling of the pairing you may allow them to control a or both parents.

KH13 rules apply.

Romance is PG-13

No God-Modding. You gotta lose sometime!

No killing characters or critically injuring them without permission.

No controlling other characters without permission.

Try to have at least five lines in a post. (It’s okay to have less here and there)

Name: Dexter “Dex” Liosa

Abilities/Powers: Casual elemental magic, Two Become One, casual light and dark abilities.

Personality: Dexter has much of his father’s agressiveness and short temper when threatened. Because of this he will often get into fights with his father all the time. Deep down however, he is very insecure and inherits much of his mother’s softness and courage to do whatever it is that's right. As a result he will not tolerate bullying of any kind, but he often fails to defend himself. He loves his half sister and step mother, however deep down he secretly feels that they are to blame for his parent's divorce and is ashamed to feel this way.

Bio: Dexter grew up in Fatefaire and as a result he doesn't know much about the Forgotten Isle except for what he has heard about it. He often gets aggravated at how happy and bubbly some people act around him. Because of this he gained an interest in the Forgotten Isle, because he believes that there's more to the island than what he was told. When Dexter was two years old, he was attacked by a Neoshadow on Roxas' watch and almost died as a result. This caused caused Dexter to be mute until he was five years old, and also caused his parents to fight to the point where they divorced. Dexter remained with Roxas, however in contrary to Xion Roxas was unable to move on from the event as he still blames himself for the accident. Dexter doesn't remember the event at all, and blames the divorce on his father because of his hatred for him. Now he has a phobia of Neoshadows. Sadly this phobia disable him from fighting Neoshadows, so in Fatefaire Academy he tries to avoid fighting them at all costs. He also absolutely loves his sister, and his stepmother Lightning although deep down... He might blame them for something that was actually his fault.

I can't get a single person to be pissed at the villains with me?

 

Maybe I'm one of the few who watched Descendants, but an integral part was being accepted into the society, so I thought that was what we were going for... Not welcoming all these evil doers to our paradise with open arms and warm dinners.

In my defense Lightning, while extremely distrustful and anti-villain, she also believes acting like that is bad. Plus the rock could have hit anyone and if it had hit Lux, she'd have been devastated. So there's more to it on my end, than blindly accepting the villains.

 

Luxanna extremely dislikes this idea and is only still standing there because of Zeph.

I wanted to and I just spend this past like hour trying but I really can't. I'm exhausted and emotionally drained from work and what just happened (doesn't have to do with any of you guys don't worry) so I just really need some sleep. I have work at 6am tomorrow so that doesn't help. I promise I'll post ASAP tomorrow so please hold on tight until then.

Just a few things before I go;

Roxas is gonna take Lux, Zeph, Vita, Percy and Kopiu in his car. I believe Mystic mentioned Snow volunteering to help get the kids settled, so if you're okay with it Mystic could you take some kids with you? You guys can decide who you want to go with who. I dunno if Kairi is helping. Feel free to offer an adult to help out with the cars and helping the kids settle and feel free to discuss on who wants to go with who. It's just a quick ride. Other than Roxas, I believe only one or two people needs to take a car (I think just one) so if Snow is doing it that's great.

 

Also, for the staff of Fatefaire Academy, you guys can have any of the parents in Farefaire be teachers. Kairi is a teacher, so if anyone else wants to be a teacher let me know. There's also gonna be NPC teachers (I was thinking of having Genie as one later) so there's that.

Mainly on my end, Sora and Kairi don't like having a lot of trouble when there shouldn't be, which is why they are hard on their son, and Alex was taught to not accept bullying, even if it is against villains.Peter, on the other hand, is a troublemaker himself, and he feels for villains, as he could have been like them so easily. Peter is also tempted by trouble, which makes him more anti-hero material than most people in Fatefaire. Also, he just simply doesn't like Acta to begin with. The reason why he doesn't like Acta is because Acta is weak in Peter's eyes, she wants to cause trouble, but doesn't have the power of darkness, she also hates the villains, which Peter thinks is stupid when Acta wants to cause trouble just like a villain. Acta is just a weak version of Peter without his powers, abilities, or way of thinking.James is a villain, so there is no surprise why he doesn't like Acta either.

In my defense Fiona just thinks everyone deserves a chance and even would embrace Vanitas if she thought it would help. : P  While I kind of see what you're saying and feel that some should've responded rebelliously, I could see a lot of people--particularly the adults and those who have genuine good in their hearts--responding for the good of the villains' children and wanting to give them a chance, especially since the villains' kids didn't even deserve their destination to begin with.  Admittedly I haven't seen Descendants either, but this is my personal take on things just by weighing things out and rationalizing.

No problem at all concerning your post. Things happen, and sometimes I take a couple of days to post, so please don't worry at all!  You've been keeping up splendidly, it would seem, and things will be just fine here until you're able to return. : )  Also, Snow is helping with the newcomers to the island, so I was actually hoping he could be a bit in charge.  Driving a car sounds splendid!  I can't post again until probably tomorrow afternoon or evening (finals, and some final stuff is due Tuesday that I urgently need to work on), but I'll see what I can do.

 

Regarding teachers, I definitely think Serah would make an excellent one.  Right up her alley with her role in XIII-2. ; )

Also, Kairi is going to check in on the students, but she needs to straighten up a few things in her classroom first for the new kids. And I just had James go into a car so I don't know who is driving it.

No problem! Here's the re:cap-Dexter, Fiona, Azriel, and Kurai(?) went to go get sea salt ice cream at a special ice cream parlor on the quieter side of town. There they met Ember and Somrene Valentine. Roxas is about to drive Lux, Zeph, Jack, Vita, Percy and Kopiu to the school so Jack, Vita, Percy and Kopiu can get settled into their dorms. Lux and Zeph are tagging along. Everyone else is to go with Snow in his car (from what I remember of what Mystic said) so Roxas is waiting to see if Snow is ready if not Roxas'll just go on ahead.(Btw guys I changed Roxas' car to a small SVU that he rented because Roxas' real car is tight as hell and I realized it doesn't make sense seat wise to have that many people in a regular car.)The Mayor is talking with Thomas and his parents who are helping getting the crowd dispersed. Acta and Eraqus got in trouble with Aqua, and they are now to go home to have a talk with Terra about the rock that Acta threw. Jade was able to sorta make amends with Eraqus but by the looks of it they don't like each other at all. Jade is I believe going to head to leave in one of the cars but he doesn't know where Kurai is.Madoka is hanging out with Val and talking to her about Lux.I think that's it? I know I'm forgetting something. Anyway, if anything perhaps Peter or Alex could talk with Madoka/Val or they can see about tagging along with Snow? If you want Sora can go see to it that the kids are settled at the school.Floe (Thomas' mother) was asking the Mayor about Sora (as well as Riku and one other person but I forgot) and the Mayor said Sora was here. Fiona is so jealous that Ember just tackled Dex. : P  Moving on, nice recap, and that all looks good to me.  Snow is just gathering the rest of the kids, though he could be ready to leave whenever you are.  I think everyone is in a vehicle now that Jade and James are riding with him, since Azriel and Kurai are eating ice cream with Dexter and Fiona.
