To be honest, I consider Square Enix to be a far greater source of disappointment, probably since I've followed them way longer than I have Konami.

I don't know,Konami seems to be much worst then Square right now,at least Square are listening to their fans from time to time,we're getting an open world Final Fantasy game,Kingdom hearts 3,FFVII remake,a console Dissidia game,we finally got Type 0 and the KH final mix games not too long ago, and I believe a lot of people wanted an english translation of Dragon Quest VII on 3DS and they got it along with Dragon Quest VIII,but Konami pretty much killed every great series they have.
