Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted December 22, 2015 (edited) (Here it is guys! Make sure you follow this thread to stay updated! Sign-ups are here although it is closed; http://kh13.com/forum/topic/93238-closed-peace-of-mind-sign-ups-and-discussion/ ) Snow came early in upstate New York. It was only just a week and a few days before Christmas and already it was obviously that it was going to be a white one. Some patients at the Coldridge Asylum were happy for the snow. Some weren't. Rosalina Sansora or ‘Rosa’ to most people was actually a tiny bit happy for the snow. Happy was a strange word, for due to the severe anxiety Rosa suffered it was very hard for her to truly enjoy anything. No matter how good of a time she was having she could never truly be happy. Rosa could be in Disneyland and in the back of her mind there was something worrying her. Something bringing her down like a dark rain cloud over her head. This anxiety was a ball on a chain for her. Rosa saw the cup as half empty- and also thought that somehow she was going to suffer from dehydration or something because it was half empty. Such troubling irrelevant thoughts plagued her mind. She didn't want to be that way. Often she was called ‘whiny’ or ‘overdramatic’ for being that way. For worrying and stressing and suffering over things that really wasn't a big deal. Sadly she also stressed about being called such things too. Such things tormented her mind; ‘Am I really overdramatic? I'm such a horrible person for being overdramatic when things could be way worse and people are going to hate me because of it and I will have no friends and I will end up dying alone while people are happy that I'm gone and laugh at my funeral and then I won't ever have a happy afterlife because of it-’ and it would go on and on. Rosa didn't understand why she was that way- she just was. It was early in the morning when Rosa woke. About ten o'clock in the morning. She opened her eyes and looked around the room for a quick second. Her stuffed animal (which today happened to be one of her many cats and was named Cali) was clutched closely to her chest. As always, Rosa had slept in fetal position as well. It was rather cold that morning due to the heaters not being turned up all the way, and due to the vicious cold of upstate. With her long old-fashioned pajama gown, hospital socks and slippers, Rosa slowly slid out of bed with her cat in tow and walked over to her roommate- Krystal’s bed to gently shake her awake. Rosa made sure to be very quiet; she didn't like it when anyone else knew she was awake until she actually left the room. “Krys…” Rosa said softly, gently tugging on her roommate’s shirt. “Krys…” Edited December 22, 2015 by Aqua7KH
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted December 22, 2015 -Krystal- (should it be Krys or Kris? Kind of thinking the latter, but curious what you guys think.) The blond shifted at Rosa's tugging, but didn't immediately stir awake. She was caught up in a rather intense dream, one that felt so real that she couldn't snap out of it. Not that the dream was any good. Normally they weren't very pleasant at all. Always she was watching people die, or the worst of fates were befalling her. Anything that she feared would happen always did, every night that she would close her eyes. Sometimes she would lie awake in bed for hours because of this, fearing the inevitable of falling asleep because of the nightmares it would bring. Eventually she tore herself awake, staring at Rosa wide-eyed as though the girl wasn't really there. Again she had seen the same man murdered before her very eyes; the man with honey-brown hair that spoke so sweet and softly to her. Why was it always him, and why did she feel like she knew him when she'd never met him before in her life? Some things in her world just didn't make sense anymore. "Well, good morning," Kris said pleasantly with a yawn, stretching her arms down to grasp her feet. She offered the young girl a wide smile and grasped her upper arm tenderly. "How was your sleep? Did Santa get stuck in the chimney again?"

And The Closer you Draw, the further you Drown. Silly Sinker, you can't swim. You are, but a rock in my world of aquarium. Of my Desires.. Heh heh heh heh... ) "Okay Usagi that will be all for today" Said a doctor wearing a wool Sweater holding a Metronome. Usagi was Sitting up with two Buckled wrist restraints on her arms in an office. A Doctor Shapiro, was Sitting in a nice Comfy King chair as Usagi would call it. Doctor Shapiro was a older Looking Hebrew gentle man, about in his 40's, Who had his Glasses Attached to A Necklace made of rope. Usagi had answered everything the Doctor asked, Usually she's Distracted or Reluctant to, but the Doctor never answered how Usagi got there. She guessed, The Resident workers must have carried her in there while she was sleeping because she only remembers waking in the room, That or the white rabbit Stole a day from her yet again. Dr.shapiro left the room and Lil' Usagi was Escorted back to her own room. when the resident workers opened the door there was a slight draft of the frigid cold, that pulled in from the other room. This gave her an idea, She had Pretended to drop her marbles and lodged one into the bolt places where the door usually locks while the asylum Workers were picking up the other spilled marbles. The marble was placed Sneakily, and they were none the wiser. The Marble jammed the Door that lead to the Corridors. this would allow her to roam freely in the Asylum. But for now she'd wait. "Usagi, i won't Be playing this game with you today. Stop or no jenga!" Said one of the worker with dark skin and Short hair. the other Just stared, Irritated About the little girls actions. "No, no ,no I will behave!" She said With a child like Whine. "But Don't take my jenga!" She scampered her feet in aggression and out of a temper tantrum Bolt towards her room, the Residents Followed Hastily after her. When they Found her in her room she was just Grinning, standing Directly In the Center. She was holding Something behind her back. "Ugh.. what yo-you G-Got there" The man with the blonde hair said with a slight nervous Stammer and chuckle. He peered into the Room, out of Fear. checking both sides of the door "So you said you'd behave usagi! " Usagi had her feet planted and her grin stretched. She only Twisted her upper torso from left to right very Gently. As she swayed, her dress Swept And the men felt nothing but a sinister and Preternatural Feeling from her. "It's Day Room time anyways." Him Saying Anyways Was Prolonged in pronunciation. "So yeah." "Can i have my jewels!" Usagi interrupted him Slightly. The man checked both Sides of the entrance into her room again, Placed the bag of Marbles on the Floor without breaking eye Contact, before leaving. "Dankyu!!" She said Loudly And Cutesy. Usagi was only wearing a Gown that was blue with pink pigs, but she has had a straight jacket fitted on top of her normal attire. It Kept her warm and she liked her Queens Ball room Dress a lot. Where she can hug her self for as long as she wanted, or so the doctor told her. She stood over her Roomate face and Slowly put her finger by her nose to check if she was breathing, then just smiled before leaving the room. She Ducked out of the room. To see if anyone had got to the Jenga before she had. if someone did she'd be forced to use the playing cards, yet again.. She just thought to herself how Bored she'd be in doing so. Sora's Baby 729 Posted December 22, 2015 (Usagi is both lovable and scary) Shade sat up with a gasp. She had been roused from her light sleep. Not that it was to big of a deal. She was used to being woken by either her roommate or staff as she had a bad habit of sleeping in till 5pm. She had really liked sleeping into till late. It made a great reason for her to be antisocial. The one thing she was good at as of late. Although, from the way things were going thus far being antisocial wasn't helping her get back home. Well, it wasn't helping anything for her to keep herself so distanced.
Atrias 19 Posted December 22, 2015 "Journal entry number 1. I'm writing this journal in case my sanity is damaged. Humans are social creatures whose biggest fear is the unknown. We are frail both physically and mentally. Sadly I am no exception. I've been here for roughly two months and i feel the time eating away at my mind. When you're alone you don't know how time passes when you don't see the light of day nor do you feel the chill of the wind. At first time seems to fly but you don't understand why something is taking so long. Then hours drag on with no end in sight. I have no mouth yet i must scream. Funny I remember laughing off this scenario just before the operation and before the judge. Well it doesn't matter. The psychiatrist that came to visit me every once in a while is under their payroll i can tell. Bastards. He hasn't been coming here recently. I wonder what happened?" Those were the words of Dusty Attenbrough who recently received a tape recorder. The room was what you'd expect from solitary: A toilet and a bed. He spent plenty of time there and was just now performing a mock operation moving his hands in the air as if he were holding tools. How he missed the scalpel, the books and most importantly the assistant he had. 'Poor Rachel.' The thought passed in his head. That was the name of said assistant who managed to get out scotch free. In a way he was contempt with the turnout but again displeased with his current situation. He punched the wall in frustration to shake off the feeling of uselessness he had been building up for a while now. Just then the door clicked and a staff member entered. He was a tall man late 50's on the verge of retirement it seemed. He wore a lab coat and walked in booming with superiority. "Dusty Attenbrough." he said quickly scanning a sheet of paper he had brought with him. His tone was utterly uninterested as he peeked from underneath the glasses. "That's me. Unless age already took your sight away and you're not seeing my face." Dusty scoffed in reply. He walked forward to the staff member who was slightly confused and a little frightened as the face he was making seemed threatening to him. "If you're like the last guy who kept asking the same questions over and over again leave now. I was a medical student, no I'm not insane, no I have no idea about any weird affairs and for Christ sake dont read me my biography for the umpth time!" He lashed out slightly as unintentional as it was. His words seem to make the man take a step back with each syllable. He did think about aggression and backed away then sat down cross legged. "M-m-m ... My ap-apologies s-sir. You are being released to meet the other prisoners and your room mate today." The air he had when he walked in was completely gone and it seemed as if the roles were reversed in just those few sentences. Dusty doubted it'd work on anyone else but so far it was effective. He was then led outside the cell. The lights first slightly blinded him as he had not seen it in quite some time. The second he stepped out he stretched his arms making the staff member almost duck out of expectations of an attack. 'Finally light and people.' He thought to himself and began following his "escort" to the main area.
Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted December 23, 2015 (I think Krys is the best; it looks so nice and cool~ The Y makes it unique) Rosa appeared to be rather startled once Krystal awoke. She had looked to Rosa like she was some sort of ghost, which was almost just as scary for her. Rosa was worried she did something wrong to Krys in any way shape or form. "A-Are you okay...?" Rosa asked with a stutter, which was common for her. Rosa often stuttered a few times especially when she was scared. "G-Good morning..." She said silently. "I slept o-okay... I usually don't have any dreams anyway but they're usually nightmares when I do b-but... Santa didn't come down the chimney. Do you think he'll visit us for C-Christmas...? We don't have a chimney... How will he visit us if we don't have one...?" It was often that Rosa would go off into little fits of speaking, often moving from one thing to another rather quickly. Meanwhile a certain doctor was walking, and bumped into Usagi. This doctor was Dr. Kraus, who was the primary caretaker to all the patients in the hospital in addition to the nurses that worked there. As he did not have any children, Kraus regarded the patients as his own. "Woah there, sweetheart." Kraus said with a smile as he placed his hands on Usagi's shoulders. "Aren't you supposed to be in your room? If you're that excited to play today, I guess I could play a few rounds of cards with you if you'd like or maybe Apples to Apples?" Saber Lily 1,543 Posted December 23, 2015 "Flight Seargant Helma Lennartz, reporting for Duty!" Came the very military cry. The female doctor looked up, rolling her eyes. "Hello, Lily." "Hiya Doctor Shego!" She quipped, sitting down. "Doctor Shenga Lily." Why did she bother? The girl was insane...literally. Picking up her clipboard, she looked down the list. "Name?" "Liliana Rose!" -Countess Amelie Lamperouge.- ~Shiny~ Doctor Shego never got over that. This was a round of disassociate Personality Disorder she'd never witness before. Literally the girl seemed able to function without blackouts, with each of her personalities fully aware at all times. Hell, it wasn't schizophrenia either - the personalities were so distinct, so in control at any given time, that Doctor Shego was still trying to figure out how to work with her. "Favorite color?" "Green!" -Magenta.- ~Blood~ Well, that was always something. Amelie and Shinya had closer colors than Lily...scribbling, she looked again. "Okay, good girls...favorite anime?" "Strike Witches!" -Gah, fine. That one with the boy who meets the girl and goes on an adventure.- ~You idiot. That's all of them. I prefer Mirai Nikki.~ -You just like the blood.- Lily slapped herself. "S...sorry Doctor Shego...I...I can't control them..." The doctor sighed softly. Lily was a case where, any usual types of treatment were ineffective. She tapped the clipboard, and just put it down. "That's all for now. Go on...we'll see each other tomorrow." The girl jumped up. "Aye aye Doctor Shego!" And so, scampering off, Doctor Shego looked at the drawer where she secretly kept a flask of rum. "...if she calls me that green haired bitch one more time, I might take up drinking for real." She muttered, putting her head on the desk.
Gothraven Dovegrace 22 Posted December 23, 2015 Usagi met eyes with Doctor Kraus and locked in when he said play cards. She crossed her arms and puffed her lip. "I Don't want to play cards," She said with a slur "thats For Old Dying Queens. And i'm a fresh Queen Slash Princess Slash Knight Slash All of the Above!" She had her hands at her hip with one thumb pointed at herself, smiling. She Point at the Jenga Box that was at the Top of the Tv. She Was majorly lacking in height and Dr.kraus was the Definition of tall to her. "Jenga! Junga! Jingi! Jange! Ha!" She sang as she drew near and nearer and came to a halt at Jenga Box. She turned and looked at Dr.kraus. Beckoning him to follow Closely "Get Close Or the Lava Floor will get you and the Trasher!", Of course the Doctor knew she was Speaking of the Janitor, Mr. Earl. Whom she was not very Fond of. She got close to the tv and Tippied herself to reach for the top. all her efforts were Futile and bore no Fruit Or jenga in this case. ~(That will kill you little girl, then i'll make a meal of you like nurse Betty Silly Girl!)~ She could hear the White rabbit murmuring, and since the doctor knew her so well, he'd know that this was the look she got on her face before she went Deep into her Wonderland Psychosis. She turned Slowly, then back at the Jenga. Then Just Pattered away back to her room to see that shade was awake. "Hi shede -Er- Shid -Um- Dobby Flaggin!! Yes Dobby! Hi Dobby!" She said staring at shade from across the room.
Oblivion 22 162 Posted December 23, 2015 Tap-tap-tap-tap. Tap-tap-tap-tap. A constantly repeating sound that would drive anyone crazy if they had to put up with it. The only type of person that could possibly bare it would be someone who was already insane. Tapping his finger nails against the wall in the perfect sequence of four taps, the Prince of Hell himself was chuckling to the sound of the tapping while depraved thoughts of his past ran through his mind. "I wonder when I'l visit them again? This infernal mortal body, keeping me trapped here and halting my return to my kingdom of flames. It bores me, toying with these humans. They disappoint me endlessly with their petty desires and dreams. When in the end, they shall all share the same end." Abaddon's tapping suddenly ceased as the sound of his door unlocking stole away his attention. "Who goes there?! Have you finally come to release me from this prison?!" The door opened wider and a nervous looking Nurse with a clipboard entered the room. "Hello Mr El-... Uhh, your highness. I have come to give you a checkup on your current mental health." Abaddon sat up with a smile, crossing one leg over the other and propping his head up against his left arm. "Oh~? I suppose you may enter my presence if you are to give me such a formal greeting." The Nurse entered the room, pulling in a chair, sitting in front of the self proclaimed Prince as she clicked her pen. "Okay then, we'll start with some questions. What is your name and age?" "My name is Abaddon, The Prince of Hell and otherwise known as "The Destroyer", and I am 3.2 billion years old. But I must admit, I barely look a day over 2 billion." "I see... What are your hobbies?" "Ruling over mankind from my father's Palace in hell." "Your father?" "Yes, Lord Satan. Previously known as the Light Bringer, Lucifer." "O-Of course... I understand that you'll be receiving a new room mate today. How are you feeling?" Abaddon's facial expression sunk into boredom with his eyes looking like they were struggling to stay open. "I believe it's a waste of my time and an invasion of my royal privacy, but I guess that while I am trapped in this body then I may as well try and live like a human. Even if I am not one. As for the kid himself, I couldn't care less." "Very well... Would you like to make any comments on the last Nurse who visited you? I have a report here saying that she received multiple stab wounds from stolen cutlery knives." The blonde's eyes shifted once again, this time to an intimidating glare that sent shiver's down the Nurse's spine. "Are you accusing me of something, woman?!" "N-No! Of course not. I'll be taking my leave now. You're free to join the others in the lounge for the day. Good bye." The Nurse hurried out of the room and shut the door, leaving it unlocked for whenever Abaddon would like to leave. The Prince sighed as he stood up and stretched his arms, getting dressed in the striped shirt and black trousers. "At least these humans were grateful enough to give me clothes I enjoy wearing..." Readjusting the crown on his head, the psychotic teen stuck his hands in his pockets and walked out of his room without a care in the world.
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted December 23, 2015 Krys bit her lip. She'd never meant to upset the poor girl. Soothingly she ran her palms over Rosa's arms, offering her a tender smile. "He'll come through the furnace pipes," she stated matter-of-factly. "That's how he used to visit my aunt's house. Santa's good and smart; he figures out how to work around chimneys. Sometimes they're lit and he's got to go around, y'know." The blonde hopped off the bed and strolled over to the window, opening the curtain and taking a deep breath. The sunlight shining on her face felt good. She couldn't wait to get outdoors, despite the cold. She turned a smile over to Rosa, who looked just as concerned and uncertain as usual. She so badly wished that she could wash away the girl's worries. It hurt her to see Rosa in pain, though she understood that feeling of worry without end. It was something she sometimes struggled with, too, albeit not severely enough for it to be the cause of her stay. She was told she was there because she couldn't remember her life, which was true, but everyone forgot things every now and again. Sometimes she wondered how much a person knew about their past life to begin with. For all she knew, maybe she was normal for only remembering the past year of her life. Was there anything else worth remembering? "Come on, let's get dressed and head out for breakfast. After that, what say you to having a bit of a snowball fight with the others? Us against them?" Krys was lively and enjoyed having fun, and seeing others happy distracted her from her own problems, such as the emptyness that threatened to consume her and the nagging pain of forgetting something horrible. Sora's Baby 729 Posted December 23, 2015 Shade looked at Usagi. "I...how do I respond to that? I mean,I keep telling you I'm not any of those silly names." She got out of the bed and yawned weakly. In the month she had been there she hadn't got used to the strange ways the other patients acted. She stretched her arms above her head.Sleeping in bed for long hours made her stiff and the movement helped. That and it gave her more time to be lazy and not change into something decent for the day. Right now she was just wearing her red Hello Kitty Pj bottoms and a white short sleeve shirt. She walked over to her wardrobe to pick out something to wear for the day. After a few minutes she picked out a white long sleeve knit sweater and black sweatpants. After grabbing both she slung them over her shoulder.
Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted December 24, 2015 Rosa looked onto Krys in deep worry. However after she began to rub her arms and reassure her that Santa would be able to make it, Rosa felt much better for the time being. Often Rosa had to get constantly reassured for absolutely everything. Reassured that everything was going to be okay. Reassured that she wasn't going to get a nightmare before she went to sleep. Reassured that deciding to eat a sandwich instead of a salad was a good idea. Such things were common for her, so Rosa always had to rely on someone to reassure and comfort her. "Okay..." Rosa said with a small smile. She had to admit the thought of breakfast and a snowball fight sounded nice. Breakfast was her favorite meal of the day. It was really the only big meal she would eat too. When she got anxious she couldn't eat at all, and sometimes even had to throw up in he toilet because of it. Ironically, she often went into a mini state of panic when she woke up (as her mind would instantly jump to the things that had upset her the day before) and she often suffered nausea in the morning when she woke up very early. Luckily no matter what, if she wasn't rushed and didn't had to do anything, Rosa couldn't wait to eat breakfast. Bacon, eggs, toast with tons of cream cheese on it. Just the way she liked it. Put it all together in a sandwich and it was the best possible meal ever. "C-Can we make a fort too...?" She asked hopefully with her cat plushie in hand as she went to her drawer and began to get dressed. She wore mostly hospital and pajama like clothes. She would only put on actual clothes when she went outside. Since she might go out in the snow later she decided to just put on a pale white long gown like shirt with pale green floral patterns on the collar and sleeves. Underneath she wore purple cotton pants. She slipped on her red slippers and walked to the door to look out the window. She never opened it without looking out first, and she would never leave the door open. Rosa always had to have every door closed. She did not like the idea of any door being left open. Outside she saw Abaddon walking by which caused her to shiver in fright. She actually kinda liked the fellow patient, and thought he looked... Nice. She even thought that maybe deep down he was kind. But in all, Rosa was deeply scared of him. Even if she liked him just a little bit. But the next person to cross the door was interesting. It was Dusty, a patient that Rosa wasn't too familiar with due to the fact that he did just arrive not to long ago and because she didn't see him around. Rosa looked to Krys. "Look... It's the boy that just joined..." Meanwhile, Dr. Kraus smiled softly as Usagi told him she wanted jenga. "Okay queen slash princess slash knight slash all of the above. I'll get your jenga for you." With that he simply lifted his arm and took the box of jenga right off of the table. He even made sure to stay close so the lava wouldn't hurt him. However he noticed the look on her face and frowned. Before he could do anything Usagi already retreated and went back to her room. Kraus placed the jenga on the table and wrote a note that he placed on top of it saying that it was Usagi's turn to play with it and that no one else could touch it for the entire morning unless she was okay with it. Kraus was about to go follow her until he saw Abaddon approach. "Why good morning, your highness. Your crown is elegant as always." Kraus said with a smile. He noticed Dusty coming up as well. "Ahh, Dusty Attenborough. I hope you remember me from the last few times we met. Dr. Kraus. It's a pleasure to see that you're in the lounge now." He walked up to Dusty and held out his hand so Dusty could shake it. "I hope these past few months have been at least a bit pleasant. It's very hard for new patients to adjust living here." Oblivion 22 162 Posted December 24, 2015 Abaddon smiled to himself as he was basically skipping down the hallways of the institute while on his magnificent journey to enjoy his breakfast. While on the way, the teen was greeted by Dr. Kraus, a "person of interest" who always greeted him with the respect that he deserved. "Why thank you Sir Kraus! Your praise is always welcome!" Abaddon smiled brightly, almost appearing as a normal teenaged boy. However, before getting the chance to skip away as usual, someone had caught his attention. After talking to Abaddon for a brief moment, Dr. Klaus began talking to another boy, one that was new to the Prince. Overhearing the Dr's conversation with him, the blonde discovered that the new boy was named Dusty. Deducing that he would be joining himself and the other inmates of the institute and was also a male, he could only reach one conclusion; This Dusty character was going to be his new room mate. Casually sliding next to Dr Kraus and putting an arm around his shoulder, Abaddon gave Dusty a charming smile. "Why hello there Dusty! My name is Abaddon and it looks like I will be your new room mate. I see that you've been talking with my good friend Dr Kraus here about how you're joining this side of the facility. Trust me, it's much more fun than being alone in solitary! Been there, done that! You know how it goes. Hehe." Once again, Abaddon was playing the old "let's be friends" card which would later play into the "I will own your body and soul" card. Abaddon loved playing cards, especially with his "servants". If anyone was watching the teen as he was now, besides the Doctors and Nurses, then they would believe that the boy really had been cured. However, it was nothing more than a clever and deceptive ruse that Prince of Hell had mastered since his admission to the institute. "Come on~! Let me show you around! I promise I don't bite~! ... Much~" Abaddon could only giggle and cuckle as his facial expression had slightly given away his true intentions, looking more deranged than before as he began patting the good Doctor's shoulder. Atrias 19 Posted December 26, 2015 Dusty shook the doctor's hand and commented sarcastically: "It'd be even better if i wasn't stuck in solitary." Then looked around. He wasn't sure what kind of institution this was at the sight of everyone. He thought he had seen this before maybe in a visual novel where you'd get to chose one of the girls (excluding the loli). Then came his new "roommate". At the sight he only had one simple thought: 'Why did the guy who led him here look like he'd go through hell?' He introduced himself and acted normally making him think it was another victim of the system. But then came the name ... Unless he had shamanistic parents of maybe cultists as legal guardians there'd be no way someone'd give him a name like that. "Uh thanks. Sure i guess I'll take a look provided i don't get thrown back there." There was also a moment his eyes scanned the place around them for a potential way to get out of there. It's a shame his contacts would abandon him but oh well ... better than being called insane (as did his previous "girlfriend" before he was locked away). His facial expression was bordering between confused and serious shifting in random intervals. "Mind if I ask ... There wont be any drug administrations right? In my "form" It said i'd be prescribed anti-depressives but do I look like I have suicidal tendencies." He turned to the doctor a sight which clarified his thought 'Abaddon does have something wrong with his mind.' At least he can count on the fact he wont wake up with a knife through his throat ... Right? Then he felt as if he were developing paranoia and quickly snapped back to reality.
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted December 28, 2015 Krys pulled her favorite striped sweater over her t-shirt and nodded. "You bet we can build the fort! Hopefully it's not too cold out, but with the sun shining we should be able to last out there just fine for a fort." The young woman was just beginning to lace her combat boots when Rosa made mention of people outside the door. She dropped what she was doing and went over to check. Outside two boys were talking, one was the obnoxious Prince of Hell that she'd met previously. She didn't trust that kid as far as she could throw him, and that wasn't usually very far. Rosa had a greater heart than she did and often gave him the benefit of the doubt, but not Krys. While she befriended Lily and could sympathize with her, she had a harder time relating to Abaddon. The boy that Abaddon was speaking to, however, was indeed new to the asylum. She hadn't seen him before, but he did seem decent by appearance. Krys merely shrugged. "I guess you're right. I've never seen him before, either. C'mon, let's go check it out." Krys extended one hand to Rosa as she opened the door with the other, getting ready to greet the newcomer. Completely ignoring Abaddon, Krys boldly walked up to Dusty. "Hey! You must be new. Welcome to the asylum! My name's Krys, and this here is Rosa. What's yours?" Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted December 28, 2015 Aisling groaned as she lay in her bed, tossing and turning. The doctors said she HAD to sleep, she wasn't going to. She leaned up and growled, marching out of her bed and out of her room. "YOU CAN'T MAKE ME SLEEP!" she yelled, obviously a little not there. "Ms. Bradley, please come and take your medicine." the nurse said, another nurse having to assist with the 'capture' of Aisling. She was brought to a room alone, a single doctor in there with her. "Now Ms. Aisling, you have to take your medicine and sleep. If you dont, you won't get any better." But did she really have to? "Get me out of this room. You can't keep me here forever." she snapped at the doctor. "Aisling we will not keep you here forever, just until you take your medicine." the doctor said calmly. Aisling growled at the doctor, crossing her arms and staring at the doctor with a glare. She was going to be rude today.
Saber Lily 1,543 Posted December 31, 2015 "And I'm Flight Sergeant Helma Lennartz!" Lily struck a salute, and then grinned. "Lilliana. Sometimes Amelie. if I ever answer to Shinya, just run." She giggled. "Sorry I'm late, Shego wanted me for too long." She was pretty perky right now.
Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted December 31, 2015 Kraus shook Dusty's hand and couldn't help but sigh at the remark. He didn't like having to place patients in solitary, but he had to do many things he didn't like to do in his line of work. That one one of the things. "I apologize. Solitary is /very/ unpleasant. But now you can spend time with your new roommate and other peers. As for the medication... I have to administer it to you as stated in your papers. I would love to give you a choice, however I must follow what is written in your forms. At least for now." Abaddon wrapped an arm around Kraus' shoulder, and he already knew what Abaddon was trying to do. The old card game. Kraus smiled and gestured to two sets of cafeteria tables in the far left hand corner of the room. "Ahh, but your highness, I'm afraid your food will get cold if you don't eat it right now. I would love to heat it up for you but food is only worthy for you if it is served fresh. I'm sure Dusty will get accustomed to this hospital right away. The nurses will show him around. Or... If you wish you could bring the others along in the tour." Suddenly, Kraus heard a small commotion coming from Aisling's room. She must be not wanting to sleep again. He'd have to attend to her in a second. Then Krystal and Rosa entered. "Ahh, good morning ladies." Kraus greeted. Rosa stood nervously behind Krystal, clutching her cat tightly as she watched Krys observed the newcomer outside the door. A part of her was excited to have someone new there as he was a new face, but what if he was mean? What if he made fun of her? What if he tried to hurt her? With a usual shy frown, Rosa took Krystal's hand and followed her outside the door. She found herself into the main lounge. There was the new patient, Dr. Kraus... And Abaddon. Rosa was afraid of Abaddon. He was very scary to her... However she also sorta liked him. She thought Abaddon could be nice. However all she saw was the scary side of him. "H-Hi..." She said quietly to Dusty with a wave. When she looked to Abaddon, she whimpered. "H-Hey Abaddon..." She said, even quieter.
Atrias 19 Posted January 1, 2016 It wasn't long before all of the commotion went on. Plenty of the actual patients went up to greet him He was slightly confused if he wasn't just in some hidden camera show but then the doctor answered on the question concerning the medicine. "In that case I will administer article 51 part 4 subsection c. In case patient declines injection by medical personal and he is deemed capable the patient is allowed to administer medication on his own. I have the necessary doctrine to qualify as capable." He said all that as if he were a robot with no emotion whatsoever. THen came the your highness part making him chuckle a bit inwardly so he now knew something was up. "Just point me and I'll go around by myself." his expression now returned to his previous somewhat snarky tone. Then looked around ... Maybe it would do him good to have some company after all that... "On second thought ... Who wants to go with?"
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted January 3, 2016 Krys nodded respectfully toward Dr. Kraus. "Good morning! It's good to see you, Doc." As she heard Rosa's silent voice acknowledge Abaddon Krys glanced toward him, though said and did nothing for his royal highness. She wanted to roll her eyes and Kraus catering to him. She didn't know why Kraus didn't just spank him and end this entire charade. As Dusty asked who would care to join Krys took a step forward. "We could come, right, Rosa?" She offered her friend a smile, though wishing to give her the room to opt out if she so wished it. "We can show you around the lounge, cafeteria, rooms, bathrooms, and even the outdoor quarters if you want. Rosa and I are getting ready to make a snow fort after breakfast, and we'd love to have you join us."
Aqua7KH 5,395 Posted January 7, 2016 (edited) Kraus had to admit he was very impressed by Dusty. Already he knew Dusty was a special one, and perhaps he was much different than what his documents spoke of. Kraus nodded. "I don't see why not. You are free to administer the medication yourself. I will also say I am very impressed. Then again such a thing should be expected from one who studies medical practices. I see they weren't kidding when they said you were rather skilled in such studies." When Dusty and Krys went on about going on a tour, Kraus crossed his arms with a chuckle. "Well, feel free to decide on who will tag along. However no one's going anywhere I'm afraid until breakfast is eaten. As soon as you're all done explore the grounds as much as you'd like. Hurry as the food is getting cold." Rosa didn't say anything at first in response to Dusty's offer as she wanted to see what Krys wanted to do. Rosa usually never voiced her desired choice especially when it came to Krys. If she was in a group and all wanted to go play, she'd go play even if she didn't want to. If all wanted to go to sleep, she'd go to sleep even if she didn't want to. It was more apparent with Krys. Rosa would always follow along with Krys in decisions on what they would do. Rosa didn't really mind as she was very content with just being around her roommate. Luckily she liked the idea of going on a tour with Dusty. "O-Okay... That will be fun... After breakfast though... Since we have to eat first..." She responded with a small smile. Perhaps it was going to be a nice morning. Edited January 7, 2016 by Aqua7KH
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted January 7, 2016 Krys nodded at Kraus' instructions. "Sure. Let's grab a bite, and then I'd happily tag along and show Dusty around." The blonde made her way over to the cafeteria, assuming that Rosa would probably be a short ways behind. After a minute of surveying the food, a silly grin crossed her face. She seized a plate and stacked a few pancakes on it, making her away across the counter to a location where toppings dwelt. A few minutes passed while Krys was in deep concentration, before finally smacking her palms together. "Perfect!" She grasped the plate and held it out for Rosa to see. She'd placed two blueberries in the position of eyes, a cherry for its nose, maple syrup all around seeping into the fresh pancakes, and a curvy line of whipped cream that resembled a smile. "Nothing like friendly pancakes to start the morning! Do you want them?" Even while she did this, the nagging thought of dread filled her, and strange images that she'd only seen in dreams started flooding her. Disturbing ones, normally, and ones that she would like nothing more than to forget. She set the plate down and started to grab glasses for drinks, still allowing Rosa to take the plate if she desired but also not obliging her to. Her hands moved silently as her gaze remained downcast. She never liked to talk when she would get like this, partly because she feared the words that came from her mouth would only upset people around her. Sora's Baby 729 Posted January 7, 2016 Shade rolled her eyes and walked outside of her room and into the hallway. From what she heard everyone was about to eat. She however wasn't going to eat till she was clean. Normally she'd wait till there was no one in the hall to sneak away to the bathroom. This time she wasn't going to wait for everyone to clear out. Besides she NEEDED a shower. She hadn't taken one after dinner last night due to the fact she was falling asleep in her food. Besides if she wanted to go back home she'd need to be around others. Although she was rather meek and shy before she had 'broke down' as her mother called it. Well,no matter she needed to do as she was told to be released. Atrias 19 Posted January 8, 2016 He nodded on the medication comment and the medical part of the conversation then heard food mentioned. "Breakfast?" He asked feeling a growl in his stomach. Everyone then rushed down to grab something to eat and admittedly it was a nice change from the standard routine from before. In truth his biorhythm was slightly off due to the inconsistent visits and meals. He followed the others to where the food was served in a slow manner. While some already had their hands full he was still debating whether he wanted a standard dose but something piqued his interest. Krys seemed to be exhibiting a somewhat apparent change in attitude. His eyes scanned her from top to bottom in seconds and physiologically she seemed healthy enough her sudden shift was a bit different. 'I guess I'll talk to her later.' He thought to himself seeing as tho she wasn't in the mood for human communication. He grabbed some toast butter and a glass of water and sat down at the most isolated point the could see. From there he looked at the others behavior so he would know what he's dealing with. He sat arms folded before his mouth for a moment then began eating in a controlled manner. Oblivion 22 162 Posted January 8, 2016 Even though everyone was talking to each other in front of him, Abaddon had barely taken any notice of what anyone was saying to him as he had become distracted from all of their pointless talking. Sighing to himself, the young Prince was seemingly exhausted even though he hadn't long gotten out of bed. After hearing the others talk about getting breakfast, Abaddon allowed the others to proceed before following suit himself, not wanting to seem like he was stalking them. Approaching the counter in the cafeteria, Abaddon began ordering his food with more flamboyance than what anyone else could possibly show within that particular institute. "I will have your finest pancakes, laced with maple syrup, whipped cream and dotted with strawberries. On the side I will have one English tea with milk and five spoon full of sugar as well as some complimentary slices of toast. Now remember this time, the toast should appear to be undercooked in order to allow the butter to melt in while withholding the softness of the bread." Expecting his food to be delivered directly to him, the demon Prince walked over to a completely vacant table and sat down on his own, not wanting to be bothered by the other inmates. Even though they were only sat a few tables over, Abaddon could hear all of their bickering about what they should do for the rest of the day and it was driving him insane, ironically. Soon enough, the food that the teen had ordered arrived, delivered on a shining set of silverware. Picking his fork up with a smile, Abaddon was about to dig in when he froze at the last second. "... What is this?" The whole kitchen staff froze in terror as those were the words of destruction that would surely come to them. Abaddon then smiled intimidatingly at the kitchen staff.# "I am joking, the food is perfect. You may keep your lives once again for today." As Abaddon began digging into his food, the kitchen staff let out a large sigh of relief in unison, proving just how terrified of Abaddon they truly were. A lesson was to be learned here and it was; When serving a Prince, anything short of perfection will mean death.
