I heard before that the heartless cant die exept with the keyblade

tell me if that was right or wrong and if it is right then why the organization kill the heartless with thier weapon???

Featured Replies

They can only be TRULY defeated with the keyblade, which sends them to kingdom hearts. Anything else will just release the hearts until they become new heartless.

They can only be defeated by the keyblade. The organization defeats them but they come back because the hearts are not released.

Marluxia explains it in his Days tutorial.

"The rest of us can defeat Heartless, but we have no way of collecting the hearts they release. Eventually, the hearts will turn right back into Heartless. You see, then, how special you are?"

ok thanks guys

the key frees or unlocks the hearts

Thats clears up alot cause they always said the keyblade truly kills the heartless but heres Donald and Goofy doing it them selfs.

That is why in KH2, Sora became upset because he realized that he and the Keyblade were helping the Organization collect hearts. In Days, Roxas becomes stressed out because he and Xion were the only ones who could properly defeat the Heartless and collect hearts.

Both keyblade wielders and anyone else can kill heartless but only keyblade wielders can send heartless' hearts to Kingdom Hearts but other people, once they defeat the heartless, their heart will not be sent to Kingdom Hearts.
