Appreciation thread for David Bowie

Damn that really sucks. I only saw parts of Labrynth, but I thought it was really cool and David Bowie's character looked super cool in the movie. It really sucks to hear that he died

Crazy stuff man. I've known of him since I was young and it's kinda nuts to see both him and Lemmy go.  Nothing lasts forever, I suppose.

R.I.P David Bowie.

He truly was the best in the industry. Each persona that he brought to his songs was very interesting and unique when compared to other artists of the time. May he rest in peace.

Oh my god, he died today?

I didn't even know....

I never heard his music,so I'll just post some of what I did know him from, which sadly isn't much:http://youtu.be/dDkp7GysvbYhttp://youtu.be/VppuD1St8Echttp://youtu.be/ufrCIwNk1zchttp://youtu.be/pUq1VWlXpxg

I know. It is so surreal and heartbreaking. What's even more haunting is his latest song.

It was released 4 days before his death and was meant as a goodbye, because he knew he was gonna go very soon...

That's a sad story to hear. :( My dad actually showed me and my brother Labyrinth last year during the summer I think, and sure, he was the bad guy, but he was pretty good actor wise. :)

And my brother showed me these characters from Castlevania games, and sure enough, two of them combined looked just like David Bowie. We were laughing for a bit at how awesome that was. :)

He shall be missed.

Rock on!
