Posted February 7, 20169 yr Bro, man, sis, dude, bud, my friend, mate, [empty space] Can you name a few more? By the way, the [empty space] is usually when you don't know the other person's gender, for example: You know they are Male: "Hey there, man!" You know they're female, but you're a male who isn't 100% comfortable calling them 'sis': "Hey there!" You DON'T know their gender at all: "Hey there!"
February 7, 20169 yr 'Alright mate?' Standard greeting for absolutely anyone who ain't posh or further north than Birmingham. Or idk, never heard my family from up north say it, I'll ask around. Or just 'alright?' Perfectly acceptable
February 7, 20169 yr You could always try "fellow life form" Or course, with that you'd have to assume that the person you are talking to actually is a fellow life form
February 8, 20169 yr I like using the word 'dood' as a gender-neutral term. Mostly because Disgaea is a great game, and the Prinnies are great, dood. I also use 'mang' from time to time. I've also been considering using 'human'. Just to try and freak people out.
