Eighty years have passed. Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, and Grover Underwood have long been forgotten. But the last Great Prophecy they heard was not.

Seven half-bloods shall answer the call.

To storm or fire, the world must fall.

An oath to keep with a final breath,

And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death.

Camp Half-Blood's regular amount of campers has decreased dramatically. The world is being overrun with monsters. Chiron's chosen Camp Half-Blood's seven most skilled. Though the seven are unaware, they are the ones meant to fulfill the final Great Prophecy, and either save, or destroy Olympus.

Here's mine:

 

Sophia pulled back the string of her bow. The monster bucked, bouncing around the arena. She snapped her fingers, and the arrow whizzed towards it. With a sharp sound, the monster disintegrated into a bunch of sparkles. She smiled proudly.

 

"Well done, Sophia," Chiron approved. She slung her bow over her shoulder, and bounced back in line with the other Apollos. "Alright, archery class dismissed." They started to turn, but he cleared his throat, calling for their attention again.

 

"Except for you two. Sophia, Arya, ah, I've already spoken to the other five campers about this, but there's something you need to know..."

Nickolas was currently fighting another classmate with his spear.They were in Fighting class,and Nickolas was fighting the 2nd best student,Johnathon - 2nd to him,of course.Nickolas quickly blocked with his metal armored arm,and used his spear to trip Johnathon,then slammed the bottom of the spear into the stomach of Johnathon.Nickolas then took his spear,and pointed it at the neck of Johnathon.The class clapped,and Nickolas put his spear back."Class dismissed.",the fighter tutor said.Nickolas went back into his Cabin,and his bunkmates clapped in impression.Nickolas bowed,and put his spear in the closet.

Ah, Archery class. The best. Arya thought as everyone watched Sophia aim at the monster. I still don't get why we have to do this..I mean everyone knows us Apollo's are 50 million times better than all of those other half bloods. I mean why do they even bother to try. Their just embarrassing them selves. Arya thought as Sophia shot the Monster.

 

"Nice Job Sophia." Arya patted Sophia on the back and started to leave but heard Chiron tell her and Sophia to stay. "What is it Chiron? What must we know?" She asked.

Nickolas quickly took his spear and barged out of the cabin.He looked around,and put the spear away.Johnathon walked up to Nickolas and puched him."Dude,what the heck?".Johnathon puched Nickolas again,then drew his spear and started trying to stab Nickolas.Nickolas grabbed the fist,and Johnathon got on his knees.Nickolas kicked Johnathon in the face,and Johnathon ran way.Nickolas spat at Johnathon,and stormed off.

Sophia glanced at Arya. What did Chiron need to talk to them about? She fingered one of her arrows nervously. "Um, yes, Chiron? What do you need to tell us?" (Shoot!) She thought. (I bet he found out about that rootbeer we snuck it... but who can go so long without soda?) She started mentally scrambling for excuses.

 

He looked at the two of them seriously. "Eighty years ago, I trained three of the greatest heroes of all time." Chiron knew that they would know exactly who he was talking about. "They fulfilled the Great Prophecy. And a second was given by the Oracle, not meant for them. Meant for a new generation of demigods. I am sure that this generation is you."

 

Chiron pointed towards the Big House. It was an old farmhouse, repainted just a few days ago a sunshine-y yellow. She was sure Mr. D hadn't approved of it much, but he wasn't Camp Director by force anymore. He decided he liked the position, and decided to stay to torture more generations of heroes. "Us?" Sophia asked in surprise.

 

He nodded seriously. "Yes. The other five heroes are to report there, too." She looked at her sister, Arya. All of them hoped for quests, but the Great Prophecy? "What's the prophecy?" Sophia struggled to sound brave. "You'll find out soon enough."

Tony was leaning against his cabin. (What was that supposed to mean? The prophosey? Seven half bloods shall answer the call. Chiron said that might be about me. He said that I was supposed to be representing the cabin of Athena. To storm or fire, the world must fall. What's that supposed to mean? Will the world end because of Hades or Poseidon? An oath to keep with a final breath. What does that mean? Does that mean that one god will go to Tartarus because of the oath of claiming their children once they're 13? And foes bear arms to The Door of Death. What does that mean? Does that have to do something with Hades?) thought Tony.

Sophia gulped, and walked semi-confidentaly towards the house with Arya. (I wonder why he thinks we're the ones of the prophecy. And why does he think that the prophecy is coming true now?) Mr. D waited on the porch for them. "Oh," He grumbled. "Wonderful, now all of you are here. More little demigods infecting my camp." She fought back any insult, and bit her tongue, simply nodding. "Yeah."

 

She and Arya walked inside, to see five other half-bloods. She recognized them from around camp. Zack Spiker, Hotu Shaw, Nickolas Craine, Hiza Kuzike, and Tony Spears. All from random assorted cabins. Sophia plopped down on one of the Big House's sofas, and Chiron came in, still in full centaur form. "Alright," He said seriously. "You are the most powerful half-bloods ever to exist. All of you have heard the Great Prophecy." He glanced at the door as Mr. D came in, an amused look on his face.

 

"Yes, yes, and we need you little brats. See all of the monsters getting into camp lately? Those would be monsters from the Underworld directly, and some from the sea." Sophia blinked. "Wait, so how are they--" "It's not official," Mr. D cut her off, acting as if she hadn't spoken. "But there is a new war between the gods. We are being divided between two sides--there is no neutral option in this war."

 

Chiron finished for him. "Because Poseidon and Hades are at war."

Hotu was walking on the camp and went to the starwberry feld's.I wonder if i'm one of the seven half-bloods in the prophecy thought Hotu.Hotu left the feild's and went to the big house and saw Sophia at the house.Hotu thought maybe she's one of the seven in the prophecy.Hotu walked to the house.''Hey What's your name''?asked Hotu

Tony facepalmed. "So, this is what the Great Phrophosey is about, Mr. D and Chiron? Because the Lord of the Dead and the Lord of the Sea are at war? But, Mr. D, do you know what the cause of this war is?" asked Tony. (This makes more sense now, the Door to Death is probably Hades. But the only question is who do we side for? Or are we supposed to do what Percy, Grover, and Annabeth did?) thought Tony.

Hotu came in and was the leader of the Ares cabin.''Ah there's Hotu now we can start with the real new.''siad Chrion.Hotu looked at the other half-bloods that were there.''Guys i think Zeus is going to give our place's in this war,because remeber what Percy did.He defeaded Kronsos the Titan lord who were the big's three father''said Hotu.

Arya stared down at the ground shocked. Me, one of the most powerful Half bloods..No way! She thought. "Chiron, what are we suppose to do? What do you want us to do? How can we the seven of us be the most powerful half bloods." She asked thinking about the Great Prophecy. God, I wish I was one of the Athena kids...so I could figure it out faster!

Tony glared at Hotu. "Yeah we know already. Now can we just go back to what Mr. D was talking about?" asked Tony. (Geez, Shaw defitently has ADHD! His brain went off track once again. And obviously being the son of the War God doesn't help.) thought Tony.

(I understood nothing written in that post) Sophia looked at Chiron, and frowned. "I'm confused. Why are Hades and Poseidon at war? I know that Hades and the other gods don't get along overly well, but another war?" Chiron looked at them seriously. "Because someone is putting them at each other's throughts. Their spies tell them of the other's plans to steal and destroy. Of course, none of these plans are true..." He shook his head. "Your quest is to stop them from going to war. A war of this magnitude... could very well destroy Western Civilization."

 

Sophia shivered at the thought. "Alright," She nodded. (So this IS the quest that the prophecy is meant for. WE'RE the ones who are meant to fulfill that prophecy and end this war.) "Who's going to lead the quest?" She glanced around at the other half-bloods. Most of them were cabin leaders, too. Chiron smiled weakly at her. "I know all of you have dreamed of leading a quest, but none of you. A mission like this doesn't deserve a leader. You all must be a team." He looked to Mr. D. "Do you have anthing to add to that, Mr. D?"

 

"Huh?" He looked up from a wine glass, and then shook his head. "No, no, let them have their fun." He smirked. "Run along, kiddos. You all have an hour to pack and say goodbye." Mr. D grumbled under his breath. "And I'll have seven less half-blood brats to deal with." "Yes, so hurry," Chiron agreed, glaring pointedly at Mr. D. "All of you. Dismissed."

Tony nodded. (I get it now. The Lord of the Dead thinks that Poseidon is trying to take over his territory. But how is that possible? Poseidon rules the seas. Why would he want to rule the dead? I wouldn't want to. I wish that Athena would talk to Hades about this.) thought Tony. Tony walked outside and went into his cabin. He took out the minoutaur horn that he got when he came to Half Blood Camp.

Sophia nodded seriously. (I'm one of the chosen half-bloods.) She thought. (I always wanted an important quest. I always wanted to change the world. But... but not like this. Not having total destruction and all out war as the other option. No doubt the gods'll make us, their kids, fight for their side. Camp Half-Blood will be completely divided. No one will be safe here anymore. Wouldn't that defeat the whole purpose?) She shook her head, and looked at Arya. "Well, come on, let's go pack up." She smiled.

Tony took out his sleeping bag and pair of fresh clothes and his minoutaur horn. Tony also took out his backpack and put his stuff inside there and he also put his ball point pen inside his pocket and also a regular pen inside his backpack, also paper in case he was bored. His ball point pen, once he clicked it, it turned into a sword, but it was not Riptide. It was called Smart Pen. It had many of the same traits of Riptide however.

Sophia and Arya's siblings greeted them teasingly. "What did you get in trouble for?" And a few, "No! He found out about the rootbeer, didn't he!?" She ignored her cabinmates and reached under her bunk for a backpack. She hastily shoved a few changes of clothes, spare rootbeer, just in case Chiron did find out about the secret stash they'd bought from some of the Hermes kids, and other random assorted items.

 

Her hand fell on something small and cool. She picked up at the silver locket, and sighed. Something she'd been given when she was much younger as a gift from her dad, Apollo. It could transform into a special arrow. He hadn't explained to her exactly what it did, but he'd grinned and said, "It'll give one heck of a show!" Sophia smiled faintly, remembering one of the only times she'd actually met her real dad. She shook her head for a second, and zipped her backpack shut. She did a mental recount, making sure she'd packed everything.

 

She scanned the cabin. If she wasn't coming with Sophia, she would have appointed Arya as the cabin's leader. She waved to one of the more tolerable boys. "Ari, Arya and I have gotten a quest." She beamed widely. "We're going to go save the known world. But while we're doing that you can be temporary cabin leader."

Tony took out his hat which let him turn invisible. (I have to for sure take this.) thought Tony. Tony put it in his other pocket. "Chris, while I'm gone, you can be the leader of cabin Athena." said Tony to Chris. "Thanks man" said Chris. Tony put on his backpack. "Your welcome." said Tony. Tony went outside and waited for the other of the half bloods to arrive. (Let's see, I have to wait for Sophia, daughter of Apollo, Arya, daughter of Apollo, a daughter of Hades, a son of Poseidon, a son of Zeus, and Shaw, son of Ares. Pretty formidable group. I can get along with almost all of them. Although, I've been here the longest so I have the most experience, and probably the most knowlege.) thought Tony.

Arya nodded at Sophia. "I can't believe...us... one of the seven half bloods of the Great Prophecy..It's unreal." she said and started packing, worrying about what will happen. She grabbed the picture of her mother she manged to take with her before the monster destroyed her house when she was eight.

 

She ignored her siblings as they kept trying to ask what happened. She wasn't much of a talker...even with her siblings.

Tony whistled as 7 peguasus came out. Tony learned to talk to horses. Tony smiled sympathetically. (Hey guys, can you guys take me and 6 other half bloods please?) thought Tony. (Sure lord.) said one peguasus who looked like Blackjack. (Please just call me Tony.) thought Tony modestly to the peguasus.

Hiza was in the Hades cabin on her bed reading a book while her bunkmates were polishing their weapons.She was the leader of the Hades cabin,yet she only fought when nessesary.She heard some noise and looked through the window.Hiza sighs."(What's the big comotion?)"Hiza thinks.She closes her book and goes outside when she sees a whole bunch of pegasus."(Tony...)"Hiza thinks.She walks up to Tony."Hey Tony,what's going on?What's with all the noise?"Hiza asks.She still had her book in her hand.She wanted to go back to read at her cabin.

After they finished packing Arya and Sophia went outside, Arya turned towards Sophia. "What do you think of the others? What do you think of this whole thing?" She asked as she threw her pack over her back fumbling with the straps.

"I think this is crazy." She answered. Sophia nodded. She felt all jittery and bouncy, but being an ADHD, that wasn't unusual. Still, a little more hyper than usual. Being told you're going to have to save the world is just slightly unnerving. Just slightly. She clasped the locket around her neck. "Let's go meet up with the rest of them."

 

When Sophia and Arya reached the rest of the campers, Chiron clopped up next to them. "We can take you seven as far as a Manhattan bus terminal. You all will be on your own from then on." He glanced at each of them like it could be the last time. Music swirled in Sophia's mind. An old Greek song they sometimes sang in the amphitheatre. She sang the lyrics under her breath, translating from Ancient Greek to modern English.

 

"Heroes fight and fall. A final quest to say goodbye. Their final quest, so say goodbye." She winced at how true the lyrics could become. "Alright," Sophia's voice rose back to normal. She slung her bow over her shoulder. Before they could start for Argus's bus, a girl, about twelve, calmly said.

 

"Stop."

 

They turned to face her, and Sophia's eyes widened. Artemis, the Goddess of the Hunt, Apollo's twin sister. "I believe this quest deserves a final blessing." She looked at each of them directly for a moment. "Heroes, know that my brother and I will grant you power when you need it. A war will not do." Artemis shook her head. Sophia hadn't expected her to be merely twelve, but then again, she was setting off to save the world at thirteen. She supposed this shouldn't surprise her. "And an offer, too. Any of you girls... you would all be amazing Hunters."

Arya stared in shock as she saw Artemis, Apollo, her father's twin sister. She looked like a 12 year old. I thought she would be older looking..but knowing Gods and Goddesses then can change what they want to appear. She lingered on Artemis last words. "And an offer, too. Any of you girls... you would all be amazing Hunters." echoed her her head.

"A-A Hunter? Y-You mean a Hunter of Artemis?" Sophia stammered, amazed and excited. The music in her mind shifted to a more upbeat soundtrack it took her a second to place. Superchick. Her favorite band. She couldn't help but smile. A Hunter of Artemis? Her? She looked at Artemis. "Really?"

 

Artemis nodded. "Any of you girls would be a wonderful addition. You're all very skilled. If the world is to be saved, we need more Hunters." Sophia's eyes widened in rapture. "Goddess," She thought on how to phrase it. "I-I would like to be one of the Hunters." Artemis smiled proudly. "There. Come along, Sophia." She paused for a second, and turned back to the other girls. "My offer stands for more than one girl. Either of you?"

Arya looked at Artemis, looking at her kind smile. and did not have to think at all. She nodded. "I've been through so much...I'm 18 now.. Yes.. yes I would very much like to be a Hunter. I shall go with my sister Sophia. It-t would be a great honor. " Arya gave a small smile. "But Goddess Artemis, Would that mean we would no longer stay here at the Camp?" She asked.
