Kh X spoilers! Re:Coded connection

Posted

So, rewatching Re:Coded and noticed the entry, "There's a world for the taking if you end our world's aching." Naturally the main connection is easily applicable, but what if there is some connection to the Dandelions here? We already know that the journal may be connected to the book of prophecy. I've also been curious if maybe the chamber of repose may be important involving this. Any thoughts?

Can you explain more? What about the chamber of repose?

You'll have to iterate and emphasize some more please.

I apologize you lost me. Are you referring on how the dandelions infiltrated the realm of sleep in order to ensure keyblade successors? As in they abandoned their own world condemned to ruin and took over a new world? Bit of an iffy connection if that's it haha, but I honestly don't know exactly what you mean ;w;

Clarify please because how does the Chamber of Repose have a connection to KH X

Um, I'm pretty certain that that was purely referring to the Datascape and the Bugs affecting it, and if anything deeper, only what Namine told Sora about those that are in pain. There is otherwise no reason for any of the characters to know of the Keyblade wielders of the past era, and at this point since we're only JUST getting hints about some kind of possible connection between the Journal and the Book of Prophesies, I'd say it's a bit too soon to speculate something as small as that. Let's not forget that most of what went on in Re:Coded was largely self-contained, and I'm not sure Nomura was quite considering the idea of X yet at the time. But who knows? Like I said, it might be too soon.

Oh, but I am sure that the Chamber of Repose has nothing at all to do with it. That room is only related to Xemnas and by extension the Chamber of Awakening in Castle Oblivion where Ven sleeps. It has zero connections to X and the Journal.

Sorry, I was slightly falling asleep when I created this topic haha. Bad idea on my part.

Basically I just still have the little nagging feeling that there is more to all of this than meets the eye. It's still also weird for me to imagine that Xehanort knew how to design a room based on the chamber, without having been to the chamber itself. I guess as a Master he would've potentially learned about it, but that still doesn't mean he saw it. I just wonder in the back of my head if maybe there is a third chamber out there somewhere (with sleeping Ephemera, etc.). More random thoughts than anything, sorry for the confusion lol.
