The war of the gods.Fought valiantly by heroes of yore for eons, the battle between Cosmos, the Goddess of Harmony, and Chaos, the God of Discord, has left a world torn apart by conflict.And yet, even a tale like this had a beginning.The very first conflict of harmony and discord.------------The warriors had be summoned. The assembly stood before their goddess, in rapture of the beatiful maiden before them.A twinge of regret filled the goddess, and she looked away from her warriors. She was ashamed to have gathered them, to have them fight a war in her steed, and for what? She knew exactly what was to come from this war, and yet, she went along with it.However, the mighty dragon would not control her."My faithful warriors," she started, her voice soothing any who had noticed her conflict. "I do not wish this upon you. What I send you to do, I do not wish on any." A light began to emanate from Cosmos, which began to spread around the assembly. "However, there is hope." Each of the warriors felt a strange power surging within them, and the assembly looked again to their goddess. "I give each of you a special power. The power of the crystals. Stay true to your virtues in this conflict, and your crystals shall be manifested."She smiled, her plan already set in motion, as she finished her proclamation, "Go, my warriors. Let your light shine again in this world!"------------Chaos had already dismissed his warriors, only a few minutes after summoning them. He had told them only this; 

"Do as you wish. Fight the warriors of Cosmos and claim victory over her. Only know this...Those who oppose me shall not prevail."The warriors of Chaos had gathered in the old Chaos Shrine, led by the knight Garland, a mighty warrior, the second in command of Chaos.Garland let out a mighty bellow, "Chaos has summoned us all to wage mighty war in his behalf! It is our duty to him that all of Cosmos' chosen fall by our might!"Those in assembly knew why Chaos had chosen them simply by looking at Garland and his massive sword.Chaos wanted the mighty, the strong, the fearless and the wicked to lead him to victory over the goddess.All they needed to do was defeat their enemy.

Johnny felt excited. He shouldn't have been, but he was. Moments ago, he was drifting through time and space, crossing various parts of the multiverse, trying to get home, but now...He was going to war.He, being at near the front of the assembly of heroes, called out to the rest after Cosmos had finished."Alright, everyone! Let's go on an adventure!"Some of the heroes had already begun to split into groups, and Johnny wandered through, looking for someone to team up with.------------Corrin was ashamed to be in the presence of Garland. He had traded his false father, a mad tyrant in Nohr, for another mad god seeking control of the world.Corrin began to walk away, out the doors of the Chaos Shrine."I went back to Nohr to stop the conflict, and here I am in another," Corrin said, adjusting his armor and equipment. "Why am I always in these scenarios?" He looked up to the world outside the shrine."I will not fight your war for you, Chaos."

Lightning looked up at Bahamut in awe.

They had this beast in their arsenal? She thought.

Slightly intimidated by the dragon's size and known power, she launched herself toward it in an effort to attack. Upon reaching the dragon's body, she stabbed it and used her Gunblade to hoist herself up and jump on its back. She started to head towards its wings to slice them off, but Bahumut jerked its body up and Lightning went flying off its body and she hit the ground hard. She got up, struggling to stand and used the gun mechanism of her Gunblade to fire a shot at the terrifying beast. Unfortunately for her, it ricocheted and hit the ground a few meters away from her.

"Elsa, you focus on the black coated man. I'll take care of the dragon." she said, not wanting any more interruptions.

Elsa shot many of her Gaster Blaster lasers at the beast, hoping that it would fall down. "This dragon must go down!" She said out loud, and kept shooting many lasers at it.

Xathnan took advantage of the situation " now bahamut!" the beast then flew high in the air and began charging up energy for Mega Flare.

It looks like the black coated man forgot about meLightning thought happily.

She once again, jumped up and stabbed Bahumut and jerked herself up back onto its back again. This time she headed for its head. She managed to stab both eyes in an effort to blind the intimidating dragon. However, its Mega Flare is the big issue. Blind or not, it would still be able to use it. Lightning headed back towards the dragon's wings and tried to slice them off to further disadvantage the dragon.

(SHOOT. It's time for me to catch up! Feel free to correct me on anything here)Everything had gone to hell. Mere seconds upon entering Melmond, the warriors of Chaos had taken the battle. Lightning's foolish charge had cost them...No. No, he had no idea there were two others involved. He thought he'd only have to fight one.Now he was grappling with a giant metal man.Garland roared with laughter as the dragon appeared from the summonstone, "The boy has figured out the lost arts, indeed!" He forced his blade closer to Johnny, almost toppling him, "You shall indeed make an excellent trophy."Johnnny recalled the events in mere seconds.Lightning ran into Melmond and attacked the man in armor.The boy in the black coat (possibly the one behind the initial threat?) had attacked Elsa and Ace, while the harlequinn had started to cast spells.But Elsa...She did something he never thought possible.Bone projectiles? Laser blasters? Who did he have to kill to get that kind of power?A newcomer had shown up, some kid with brown hair, one of Cosmos' warriors, for sure, to protect Elsa.Good, since Garland had gotten me already...Johnny was thrown back by an axe attack  and averted his gaze to the dragon."Now, Bahamut!" the boy had cried out. He was the one who brought out the dragon?Johnny saw him charge toward Elsa and intercepted him.Excalibur shifted the various pieces of the blade, folding in on itself to form a shield.Johnny gave a mighty shove to the boy, sending him backwards."Try that again, punk," Johnny sneared as he spit up a bit of blood. That was when he looked up. Whatever Bahamut was doing, it was going to be big.Garland began his approach towards Johnny and Elsa, "Two birds, one stone..."----------Corrin nodded to the man in rags. If anything, he could make for a decent ally for the time being."Let's move out, everyone," Corrin said as he dashed towards the Sandsea.

She saw Garland come near her and said, "Oh no, you don't, you big lug! Take this!" And then preceded to shoot the Gaster Blaster lasers as well.

Xathnan looked jhonny in the eye. You were the one who got riled from my threats. Good now lose yourself in battle." bahamut flapped its wings and a large gale formed to blow light off of it

Elsa stayed in place as much as she could using her psychoknesis on herself. "Stop that, you stupid dragon!" And shot poisoned bones into its eyes, hoping it would blind them even more.

Garland was hit by the blast. He was moved back, but largely fine. If this woman could become a pawn of Chaos, her power would become...Johnny barely got Excalibur shifted and into the ground before the gust hit him. His arms began to feel like putty as the gust consumed him."Damn it," he gasped, trying to grab some more air before focusing on the boy. "You seem to being pulling the strings on the dragon. Let's see how you do it."

Very well " xathnan grinned and then jumped high in the sky onto bahamuts back and kicked light off the dragon.

" just like old times now MEGA FLARE!!!!!!!!! The dragon let loose its most feared attack on the battle feild below

Elsa teleported herself to a safe spot and waited until the Mega Flare attack was gone. "Man... That evil warrior really does have tricks up his sleeves."

Lightning managed to hold on to the dragon's body and wasn't thrown off. She wasn't to be hit by the Mega Flare, but here allies were. She attempted to cast Reflect around them, but it was too difficult. Instead, she directed her reflect to around the dragon's mouth, hoping that the shield magic would ricochet Mega Flare back at it and finally eliminate it. Whether it would work or not, she did not know.

Johnny leapt into the air, hoping, just hoping, his sword could transform, hoping it could deflect the beam just enough...He was mostly right.He got the worst of it.Johnny hit the ground, leaving a small crater where he landed.The wind had been knocked out of him. He was bleeding, possibly concussed. His right arm was broken.Only one thought crossed his mind...'I could die...'

Elsa came back and decided to use her psychoknesis on a lake she had seen and threw the giant ball of water into the dragon's mouth, making sure it would extinguish the flames.

Xathnan went to the soldior " im getting sick of you. " xathnan used his telekinesis to send her plumetong to the ground. " Bahamut charge another giga flare this time.

Ace was shocked they wete ok he ran to jhonny to cast cure

Elsa stopped herself from falling and launched another set of Gaster Blaster lasers and poisoned bones at the dragon and the boy.

Garland looked towards the woman, who had lifted a ball of water at the dragon."Foolish, to turn your back on a foe!" Garland called out, as his sword extended into a whip. Garland then swung the sword-whip at her to try and wrap her up.----------Johnny looked up  to see Taybor, trying to get him back up."C'mon, Jon!" she said, smacking his face, trying to keep him awake. "Stay with us!"Behind the fairy, he saw Ace approach him. He barely choked out the words as the boy casted a healing spell, "About damn time..."

Ace smiled " i wont let anyone else die casted curaga. Lets get this bastard. Ill set up wall

Elsa cut the whip with her bones. Then used her psychoknesis to launch Garland into a building. Why can't this battle end? She just wanted to go home with her child.

Johnny leaned up against his sword as his wounds began to heal rapidly. His eyes went to the sky, as he saw Lightning fall off of Bahamut. Johnny jumped into the air and caught her."Kept you waiting, huh?" he snarked as they landed near the others. Johnny put Lightning down as he called to the others. He knew this fight could not go on much longer."Warriors of Cosmos! Let's show these guys the door!" Johnny proclaimed as he charged towards the three warriors of Chaos.-----------Garland was taken aback as he was thrown into one of the ruined buildings. The woman was showing true promise here."So, this is the endgame for this fight," he said as he saw the warriors of Cosmos line up. The man with the sword began to charge at them.It was time to change the game.Garland reached for his summonstone."IFRIT! TO ME!"----------Johnny saw the move coming and quickly grappled the stone away from Garland. The creature had not been fully called to the battlefield.In his mind's eye, he saw a monster engulfed in flame. Shocked by the turn of events Lightning decided it's time to get really serious. With Ifrit hovering above her and Johnny, she felt content and confident. She readied herself to unleash a vicious attack. Her Gunblade began to glow, indicating that she was ready to make her move. With both hands she held her sword down to her right and began to run towards Bahamut. As she reached him, Lightning jumped and unleashed her powerful attack. Zantetsuken. She managed to cut through Bahamut's flesh, but it was not enough. Looking towards Ifrit, she could tell that the giagantic demon was ready to unleash its attack on the dragon. She ran back towards Johnny before her enemies could retaliate.

Gau (Neutral/Cosmos)

 

Gau watched carefully from his hiding spot, the destruction and mayhem of battle spreading across the landscape.  So much happened.  Johnny nearly died, but Gau was unable to get to him before a new face saved him from tragedy.  Chaos was only augmented when summons were used, Bahamut spewing forth his Mega Flare and rupturing the earth with its power as several attempted to bring him down, and Ifrit newly summoned and recently claimed on the side of good.

 

With everything set for now and Kefka seemingly distracted with sending elemental spells everywhere, Gau took the initiative.  Trying to hide out of Kefka's line of sight, he attempted a blindsiding assault from behind and performed a fiendish slicing motion with a clawed hand (!Catscratch).  At the most, it would probably drop Kefka out of the sky with a severe gash in his back.  At the least, the attack would be discovered and injure lightly or not at all.

A lone figure approached the throne of Sanctuary. The plan had worked. Wait until everyone had left, then enter to kill the goddess.
But, the warrior and the child would be a complication.
"I came for your goddess," the figure said, his sword by his side.
The Warrior's brow furrowed. No one could have gotten here this fast into the conflict. Not without running into someone before.
The figure split his sword into two and held them ready for combat. He cried out, his helmet distorting the voice, "It seems I must judge you as well!"

Elsa started to feel exhausted from the attacks she sent. "Dang... Why do I... have to be tired now?" She then fainted, thinking only of her family.
