The war of the gods.Fought valiantly by heroes of yore for eons, the battle between Cosmos, the Goddess of Harmony, and Chaos, the God of Discord, has left a world torn apart by conflict.And yet, even a tale like this had a beginning.The very first conflict of harmony and discord.------------The warriors had be summoned. The assembly stood before their goddess, in rapture of the beatiful maiden before them.A twinge of regret filled the goddess, and she looked away from her warriors. She was ashamed to have gathered them, to have them fight a war in her steed, and for what? She knew exactly what was to come from this war, and yet, she went along with it.However, the mighty dragon would not control her."My faithful warriors," she started, her voice soothing any who had noticed her conflict. "I do not wish this upon you. What I send you to do, I do not wish on any." A light began to emanate from Cosmos, which began to spread around the assembly. "However, there is hope." Each of the warriors felt a strange power surging within them, and the assembly looked again to their goddess. "I give each of you a special power. The power of the crystals. Stay true to your virtues in this conflict, and your crystals shall be manifested."She smiled, her plan already set in motion, as she finished her proclamation, "Go, my warriors. Let your light shine again in this world!"------------Chaos had already dismissed his warriors, only a few minutes after summoning them. He had told them only this; 

"Do as you wish. Fight the warriors of Cosmos and claim victory over her. Only know this...Those who oppose me shall not prevail."The warriors of Chaos had gathered in the old Chaos Shrine, led by the knight Garland, a mighty warrior, the second in command of Chaos.Garland let out a mighty bellow, "Chaos has summoned us all to wage mighty war in his behalf! It is our duty to him that all of Cosmos' chosen fall by our might!"Those in assembly knew why Chaos had chosen them simply by looking at Garland and his massive sword.Chaos wanted the mighty, the strong, the fearless and the wicked to lead him to victory over the goddess.All they needed to do was defeat their enemy.

Johnny felt excited. He shouldn't have been, but he was. Moments ago, he was drifting through time and space, crossing various parts of the multiverse, trying to get home, but now...He was going to war.He, being at near the front of the assembly of heroes, called out to the rest after Cosmos had finished."Alright, everyone! Let's go on an adventure!"Some of the heroes had already begun to split into groups, and Johnny wandered through, looking for someone to team up with.------------Corrin was ashamed to be in the presence of Garland. He had traded his false father, a mad tyrant in Nohr, for another mad god seeking control of the world.Corrin began to walk away, out the doors of the Chaos Shrine."I went back to Nohr to stop the conflict, and here I am in another," Corrin said, adjusting his armor and equipment. "Why am I always in these scenarios?" He looked up to the world outside the shrine."I will not fight your war for you, Chaos."

The brunet had only glared in response to Xathnan's words. He's raised his sword higher, fully prepared to strike. What he wasn't prepared for, however, was the blows dealt by Elsa, and everything else which transpired shortly thereafter. The battle was commencing so quick and with so much power that he wasn't even certain how to successfully fit in.

 

That was until Elsa took a blow which knocked her to the ground. Noel watched her still form, his heart pounding in his chest. He stole a glance at the others, which all seemed too heavily engaged in battle to notice. That was when he decided to take initiative. The brunet slid across the soft soil and knelt by Elsa, brushing stray strands of hair from her face. She was still breathing, thankfully, and seemed to only be unconscious. Carefully he slid an arm under her neck and knees, lifting her from the ground before kicking off and heading back into town. He massively hoped that no one would interfere. After all, no child should ever be deprived of a mother, and he was going to see to it that they were reunited safely.

Elsa felt something lift her off the ground. But she didn't know what it was. All she thought was happy memories of being with her family.

Elsa ran into the battle. She was gonna give these evil warriors a bad time. Her eyes started glowing purple and soon after, she snapped her fingers to summon strange creatures, which were called Gaster Blasters. They could shoot lasers that will decimate you in a second. She shot one straight at the bad warriors, hoping it would stun them.

~Aqua~"Lighting, Elsa, wait!" she tried to stop them but a Red Crystal-Like version of Terra approach. She was shocked. *gasp* as he about to attack her, a certain boy in green block his attack. ~Link~while he's trying to find Lightning and Aqua, he saw Elsa run off. "Elsa, hold on!" he follows her, and find Aqua, but a Red Crystal-Like figure was about to attack her. *gasp then running into him and block the monster's attack with his Shield* "haa!" Push him then Attack him but he dodged it.

Xathnan couldnt beleive how the tables had turned.  Garland had his summon swiped from him.  A hardened warrior who he never expected to lose his concentration "Garland your a fool how could you allow this to happen"  Xathnan turned his attention to the others that were lined up with Ifrit.  "beast of hell.  Its time to send you back to the depths.  One final attack and this ends.  Giga flare is almost fully charged.

 

 

Ace looked at the 2 powerful eidolons in awe.  "So they exsist here too.  "  Ace set up wall in front of Ifrit and the others hoping to weaken the impact from Giga flare.  He then fired a laser beam from his cards towards the dragon.  It had little effect and Ace had an idea but he would need the others help.

 

Kefka suprised by Gau's assalt never saw him coming and got slashed in the back like he intended.  "Get off of me you flea ridden feline!  "  He then proceded with using havoc wing on gau

On his way to Melmond, Mog had a dream again, but he wasn't tired. The Esper Ramuh appeared in it, and was responsible for putting Mog to sleep. It was the only way for him to communicate with Mog after all.

The Moogle wondered:"What do you want from me here, kupo? It was a year since we last met that way, kupo." Ramuh then told Mog that the one who led to his world's ruin there, is there on Melmond. 

"Looks like the explosion from the airship one year ago made you forget some of your magic..." Ramuh then recovered Mog's memories of his previous magic-Ga level spells, protect and shell, and banish. He also reminded him of the Magicite attached to his spear: "Your spear...it has my Magicite attached to it. You might need it. Farewell." Mog then woke up, and went to the battlefield. It was hard to miss it with 2 different summons there. He noticed  Bahamut in the sky, charging giga flare. 

He then summon Ramuh to aid his allies: "I have arrived, kupo!" The moogle noticed the boy with the blond hair and the boy with the brown hair in the battlefield, fighting with his allies. and assumed they were Cosmos' warriors. Ramuh then lifted Mog with his right hand, which he used his dragoon skill, jump, to get to Bahamut in the air. He landed on it, and tried to destroyed it with his spear.

Magus agreed to the stranger's offer. He was relived that the stranger was friendly and didn't try to do anything funny.

"It wouldn't be wise to ignore the offer. On the way Sandsea, asked the stranger of his name:What is your name? We still didn't properly introduce ourselves."

"I am Magus, from the kindgom of Zeal"

Xathnan thought this moogle was brave but not very smart. "Are you serious little moogle? " he waved his finger at the moogle and then teleportrd the moogle fave down in the dirt below. No one interupts bahamut. .

 

The warrior saw this man and raised an eyebrpw " I cant allow you any fatther

Garland scoffed at the boy, "Do not accuse me of such foolery, boy. Our backup has arrived." Garland turned to address the manikin of the boy, Terra, "Marvelous, is it not? A complete replica, entirely loyal to Chaos. If nothing else, this has proven to be a nice exercise in copying all of you."Behind Garland, a crystal Johnny appeared, ready to start battle in Garland's stead."We shall meet again, warriors of Cosmos. You have fought well, but the war is far from over."Garland disappeared, teleporting away from the battle.-----------Johnny, seeing Mog's attack on Bahamut fail, knew what to do. Ifrit himself could never best Bahamut.But two Ifrits could do some damage...Johnny called out to his group, "Aqua, Link, Mog! Help Gau take on that clown guy! Lightning, Ace! Stay with me and concentrate on Bahamut! Brunette!" Johnny turned to address the boy who had showed up, who was now carrying an unconscious Elsa in his arms. "Take her back to Sanctuary. Keep her safe."Johnny turned back to the battle and linked minds with Ifrit and the two began to channel each other's strength. The ground directly beneath Johnny's feet began to crack and rumble.The heat was truly on."LET US SHOW YOU..." Johnny's voice became more more demonic, what seemed to be Ifrit's voice beneath Johnny's, as the two charged forward towards Bahamut. "...THE POWER OF HELLFIRE!"The two collided with Bahamut, a massive geyser of fire erupting beneath them. If this did not hurt Bahamut, it would surely stop the oncoming attack.------------Gabranth scoffed at the man in armor, "Then you must stop me, warrior."Gabranth's right sword came down to the ground in a massive swing, causing a shockwave aimed towards the warrior.------------Corrin and his group had just arrived at the Sandsea, where a castle stood in the center, with pieces of other castles flying around nearby.Turning towards his ragtag group, Corrin addressed them, "We need a plan. What do we do now?"-----------(Trying to continue with Elia now that Hix has left)Elia had been joined by a man in purple armor, a dragoon by the name of Kain Highwind.The two had made quite a journey that day, Kain commenting on a great battle taking place near Sanctuary.Elia had been unsure of what to do then, but Kain had stated that a group of Cosmos' warriors had been there. They needed no more help.The two ventured through a gateway, where they came across a wide desert. The Mirage Sandsea, Elia recalled.In the distance, close to the castle in the center, Elia could see a group of about five gathered.They were not from Cosmos' side.

The moogle was surprised by the teleportaion spell: "So this dude can teleport others, kupo".The Moogle wandered about the spell: Kupoppo...I want to learn that too!"

Ramuh then lifted Mog again, and Mog jumped at the clown's direction, following Johnny's orders and helping his old ally.  Mog was a bit happy to battle the person who destroyed his world and home, killing any moogle he ever knew and met.

He then casted Firaga at Kefka during his jump, midair, hoping to prevent him from casting any spells. 

Ramuh then helped Ifrit and Johnny that used Hellfire, and used Judgment Bolt, his own ultimate spell, to destroy Bahamut and stop Giga Flare. The Moogle had his thoughts on the matter: "With both ifrit's hellfire and Judgment Bolt, it can't survive, kupo"

"We can get to that castle there...maybe one of you have any teleportaion/fly spell in order to get there?" Magus then turned to the others.

-Noel-

In response to Johnny's words the brunet simply nodded.  "I shall do just that.  Take care, all of you, and I will be back if I can!"

 

The path was long and dreary, but Noel didn't tire as he clutched Elsa to his chest.  The young woman hardly stirred, and strangely, despite being unconscious, she seemed at ease and relaxed.  Perhaps she was more tired and sleepy than she was weary and unconscious after all.

 

It had taken Noel a good thirty or so minutes to return to the Sanctuary, though it was not exactly as harmonious or desolate as he'd hoped.  Standing near its entrance were two men, both clad in heavy armor and deeply engaged in combat.  One Noel immediately recognized as the Warrior of Light, whereas the other man was unknown to him.  He did not appear to be on their side, however, nor did he seem to have good intentions.  As much as Noel wanted to help, safety for the young woman was of his top priority, but if Chaos warrior had already gotten this far into Sanctuary, chances were that he had help, or the Goddess had little protection.  Either possibility held little promise.

 

Carefully Noel knelt, sliding Elsa softly onto the ground behind a pillar.  He brushed a few strands of silky brown hair from her face before whispering softly, "I'll come back for you, I promise."  With that, Noel charged toward the battle, separating his twin blades and brandishing one in each hand.  He skid to a halt alongside the Warrior of Light, eyeing the armored foe meticulously before stating, "Okay, so why is here here, exactly?"

 

-Locke-

It didn't take the treasure hunter long to find the source of the battle.  There they all were: the warriors of Cosmos, standing before Kefka and a few other villains.  He didn't know them all, but he hated them all the same.  All were after the same thing, which Locke would not tolerate in the slightest.  He saw Gau nearby, along with Mog, Link, and plenty of other comrades.  "Hey!  No one told me there was a fight around!" he shouted out, charging into the crowd and standing between Gau and his little Moogle friend.  He shot a sideways grin at both before turning a glance toward Kefka.  "Oh, geez, not you again.  I don't know why you can't just seem to get enough of a beating to make you chill."

 

While Kefka was indeed one of the Chaos warriors, his hatred for the man was far more personal.  He'd stripped from him much of what mattered in his life, brought down villages, friends, and loved ones . . . .  No, he could never find any sort of tolerance or forgiveness for Kefka, and while he didn't want the crew of Chaos to win this war, he personally wished to see to it that Kefka fell--here and now.

 

The thief withdrew two knives from his pocket, flinging one in the direction of the clown.  He hoped in the combination of Mog's magic that the blade may hit him, enough to wound him and permit further damage.

Gau (Neutral/Cosmos), currently fighting Kefka with others

 

Gau's eyes narrowed as the aristocrat swung a menacing wing buffet towards him, barely able to react enough to harmlessly block most of the attack with a catching palm.  The blow still injured him and knocked him awry from what would have been a safe landing, however, and Gau fell painfully on the ground, clutching a wounded side.  Luckily someone else joined the fray and initialised a Firaga spell on Kefka the madman, probably harming him a second time.

 

Gau stood on all four, hissing like a cat, and shifted his strategy.  He didn't dare attack Kefka up close again, not with the threat of fire spells, but instead he changed his mindset to that of a Vectaur, readying a healing spell that could provide a lot of usefulness to both himself and others.

 

Pearl Wind exuded off of him in a white aura, healing light and moderate wounds completely for those allied to him, and for those with severe wounds he staunched a good portion of the bleeding or injury.  Gau's hand felt better, but his side still pained him.  In the meantime, Gau glanced over to his good friend and treasure hunter, Locke, overjoyed to see another one of his party alongside him.  Memories drifted in of drinking from vases and devouring food from Locke's plate.  Good times, but he had to concentrate.  There was no chance of avoiding damage if Gau was caught unaware.

 

 

"We can get to that castle there...maybe one of you have any teleportaion/fly spell in order to get there?" Magus then turned to the others.

 

 

Ruddy Infratel (Chaos), at the Sandsea with others

 

"You don't have to ask twice, my main caped mage!" Ruddy piped, more than pleased by his own usefulness as he raised his arms to the sky.

 

Casting Float with a similar chant to his Haste one, he channelled magic to encompass everyone in the party.  It did not take much from his reserves, but it still took enough of a chunk.  Popping a vial of ether out from a satchel held close to his heart, he downed the contents and restored the lost magic with a satisfied sigh.

 

"Test it out, if you'd like," he uttered with a wink, taking off into the air with relative ease.

Corrin began to take a bit of flight with the spell that Ruddy had cast. Up the castle he went and into the antechamber.What he saw was quite disturbing.An open portal to another dimension. On the other side...was an army of crystal warriors.Before the portal stood a massive man, firmly planted before the portal."Now, the tide will be forever in our favor," a deep, gravely voice let out.Corrin called out to the man, "What are you doing?"The man turned to reveal himself. Exdeath."Young dragon, I am building an army from the Void. The Manikins. Crystals warriors able to replicate and imitate other warriors. A truly perfect army." Exdeath Let out a hearty laugh, "And it shall serve Chaos."-----------Elia had heard enough. She and Kain had followed the group to the castle, and had heard the mighty man before the portal.This army will not serve Chaos. It will serve no one.Elia and Kain entered from a side chamber. Elia held her staff and hammer out, ready for combat, "No army should have to serve such a master. That portal shall be closed."The man let out another laugh, "A mere healing mage stands against me and the power of the Void? You shall fall before me!"-----------Corrin leapt between Exdeath and the mage, "Not if I have anything to say about it!"Exdeath was taken aback, "You dare defend your own enemy?"Corrin shook his head, "I stand between a madman using an army when he doesn't need it and a person trying to do something about it! Close the portal..." Corrin clutched his Dragonstone and transformed, "...or I will destroy it!"

Elsa stirred a bit after Noel left her. She heard fighting from where she was, but was still too tired to move. Until she heard crying, which she immediately recognized as Lisa's voice. She remembered her mantra she had kept and was once again filled with determination. She got up from her spot and peeked from behind the pillar to see what was going on. Her eyes started glowing purple and soon, she came out from there and immediately shot a Gaster Blaster laser at the man in black-clad armor.

Gabranth was already deep in combat with the Warrior. The two had been a relatively equal match so far, but the addition of the new warrior could prove deadly."I am here to execute judgment upon your goddess," he replied, his blades coming down to his side. "The sooner the goddess falls, the sooner this war ends."Out of the corner of his eye, Gabranth say something move from behind a pillar. He turned quickly and swept his blades quickly, dispersing the attack."You fools! Do you not see the futility of this fight? I am only here for the goddess!"-------------Corrin and the mage had tried to overtake Exdeath and close the portal, but so far, the tree had hardly moved.Corrin let loose on Exdeath with a whip of his wings and tail, "Close the portal!"Exdeath scoffed at Corrin, "You are a traitor to Chaos!"Corrin responded with a massive shove, "I am no more a traitor than I have been before!"The mage let loose a powerful spell behind Exdeath."Dia!"The room was filled with an explosion of light, pushing all four (Corrin, Exdeath, Elia and Kain) out of the chamber.The portal was no more."You would deny Chaos his army, boy?" Exdeath shouted at Corrin."I would deny him more pawns for this battle," was all Corrin responded with as he turned back into a human.

The warrior faced off against Gabranth firing his own shockwaves from his own blade and as the 2 forces collided and exploded the warrior charged at Gabranth through the smoke.

 

Xathnan began to see he was outmatched and noticed Garland quit the field.  But Xathnan wasnt one to quit he knew Bahamut couldn't handle both of them.  But giga flare was just about ready.

 

Kefka noticed a lot of his old enemies had gathered but he got hit by firaga among other things.  Kefka realizing he now has strong opposition changes into his god form.  "I'll destroy you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"   and throws multiple spells like trine ultima and flare

Mog was happy seeing Locke, another ally he recognized. He was the 3rd ally he knew before coming here. "Just like old times, kupo." He thought.

He then decided to continue to mix the dragoon skill, jump,  and use Firaga in midair to harm Kefka. This action have 3 gains:

One is that it's harder to dodge the magic this way, and harder to counter too. 

The second gain is that Kefka is attacked from more directions, and thus would have a harder time dealing with the spell.

The third gain is that he would have put his friends aside from harm.

Magus came a bit late. "Did anything happen Corrin?" He said as he lands on the castle, seeing that Corrin looked as if he had a fight. 

He then noticed Eila and Kain: "You seem to make allies quickly. Who are these two?"

Even the force of Ifrit and Ramuh was having no effect on Bahamut. Bahamut still was charging his next attack.Johnny did not know what to do. He had to stop the dragon's attack.Johnny kicked his boots together and began to run and jump across the stones and walls of Melmond, gaining altitude. Finally, Johnny leapt up to the boy sitting on the dragon and grappled with him. Perhaps the stone would have some answer on how to stop Bahamut...------Corrin looked up at Magus, then back at the mage and the dragoon, "They are warriors of Cosmos." Corrin coughed a bit before continuing, "Exdeath was...trying to make an army..."

Xathnan was locking arms with the boy his eyes fierce "You cant stop this boy.  By the time this is over melmond will be nothing but a memory.  "  A dark aura began to emaniate from xathnans skin.  He was calling on his darkness to overtake johnny.

(OOC: I didn't see Rosco's comment when I typed mine, so just think everything Mog does is before Kefka is using his ex-mode. You guys are too fast : P)

 

Mog seeing Bahamut uneffected by the other summons, and Kefka changing into his godform, decided to leave Bahamut to Johnny and go after Kefka. 

He decided that Judgment Bolt should be used on Kefka, not on Bahamut.

It was personal after all. The world being left in ruins, his departure from his allies, and that every moogle that he knew died, was all due to Kefka's actions.

He quickly casted Shell on every ally that fights kefka, but he had a plan to prevent his allies from being hurt.

He then decided to try a new trick he learned from Ramuhin his dreams- Casting banish on magic to banish other magic. He quickly countered Kefka's magic with Banish, trying to save his old allies and his new ones.

"Warriors of Cosmos? I see...so you fought Exdeath together"

"And so, our betrayal from Chaos is now know. I don't think Chaos will take Exdeath's loss happily."

Magus wandered when he heard Exdeath was trying to create an army. Chaos managed to summon only a few, after all, and wouldn't need Exdeath's help for some more warriors he can summon: "An army? You mean army of monsters? I don't think he can summon warriors like the gods"

~Aqua~"right!" she ran into Gau's battle with Kefka. Aqua cast friaga spell Kefka, but Dodge it, then dodging his attacks. ~Link~Link tries to shoot him with his bomb and arrow, but blocks it. *dodge rolling* then he used his hookshot, manage to catch one of Kefka's feet and pull him down. "Haaa!"

~Terra~*gasp* Terra summoned his Keyblade as well as Xion summoned hers. He figured that she is a Keyblade wielder. An army of Crystal-Like people just increasing his fear in his heart as he sees them.

Kefka retaliated against the moogle now tired of this he now uses his light of judgement on the group attacking him.  "lets see how you like this!  This is why oppose rhymes with dispose! "  Kefka wasnt gonna tolerate this defeat.  "You will all be reduced to ash.  There is no hope for you in this or any world!"

Corrin shook his head, "Crystal replicas of us, and everyone else who was summoned here."Corrin looked over to where Exdeath had fallen. His body had disappeared."I suppose we're traitors now," Corrin said. "If Exdeath survived, he'll alert everyone else about us." Corrin looked over to Elia and Kain, "I guess we're at your mercy now."Elia responded, "Or us at yours. You outnumber me and Kain here."Corrin got up and extended his hand to Elia, "My name is Corrin. I do not wish to fight you."Elia took Corrin's hand, "My name is Elia. We will not fight you either."----------Johnny looked down at his arms. They were being consumed by a shadow, seemingly from the black coat on the boy. All he could do was look the boy in the eye."I refuse to be a memory," Johnny taunted the boy. "I refuse to let anyone else here be a mere memory." Johnny leaned back and jolted forward, cracking the boy head-to-head.

Xathnan took the assault.  Xathnan then snapped his fingers and one by one surrounded johnny with 15 spears hovering in the air.  "Now the way isee it you got 2 options..."  xathnan said as blood trickled down from his nostrils.  "Get impaled and we launch Giga flare or you dodge it and we launch giga flare.  Either way you got 60 seconds before everyone down there is dead.  Xathnan flashed a wicked grin

Gabranth was already deep in combat with the Warrior. The two had been a relatively equal match so far, but the addition of the new warrior could prove deadly."I am here to execute judgment upon your goddess," he replied, his blades coming down to his side. "The sooner the goddess falls, the sooner this war ends."Out of the corner of his eye, Gabranth say something move from behind a pillar. He turned quickly and swept his blades quickly, dispersing the attack."You fools! Do you not see the futility of this fight? I am only here for the goddess!"

"Get away from my child now!" Elsa shouted, then used her psychoknesis to lift the man and launched him into a pillar.

The warrior of light looked to Elsa "What tremendous energy.  I assure you i had the situation well in hand.  The warrior looked to Gabranth "Did you have enough?"  sword still drawn

Ramuh finished charging Judgment Bolt, and tried to use it on Kefka. He then decided to shield everyone by fully taking the attack instead of Mog and his allies, covering them.

He manage to save them, but the attack was too powerful for him. He then returned to his Magicite form, dropping on mog's hand.

The moogle thanked Ramuh and attached the Magicite back to his spear: "Thanks old dude, kupo!" 

He figured that now it would be the best time to attack Kefka. He remember that everytime Kefka used Light of Destruction, Kefka showed signs of his power being drained- it was always after the light that he was attacked by a bunch of monsters, which the moogle thought to come on Kefka's orders, who called them because he was drained.

Mog then returned to attack The Clown with the same way as before.

Magus then saw one of the corpses of the Manikins, and was shocked from what he saw. He shouted a name from the surprise: "S-S-Schala?!" 

Corrin's words worried Magus: "Crystal replicas of us, and everyone else who was summoned here." It means she is here as well.

She was trapped by Lavos who merged with her, so being here was a mystery. He wondered to himself: "Did she manage to escape from Lavos and was summoned here? Or did one of the gods' saved her?! " Magus assumed that Cosmos had summoned her, and not Chaos: It's the first thing I would notice, upon coming here..."

He then gave some thoughts about joining Cosmos, but he wanted to be sure.

He asked the dragoon and the white mage: "Do you know the original version of this Manikin?! Is she among your warriors?!"
