I wouldn't be surprised if Naughty Dog got the rights back to Crash Bandicoot. Activision has done jack all with the franchise.

It could, but they could also have done it so people would stop speculating things. Imagine the disappoint people would hold if Sony didn't announce anything on Crash again and they've been "hinting" at it even though they never really were. 

that's actually super rad.

Hopefully, someday we'll get another Crash game.

And I don't mean one like that terrible Mind Over Mutant game where they gave him an awful redesign.

Even though I never played it, I actually like the tattoos.

I learned about this Easter Egg from TheGamersJoint, and I was pleasantly surprised when he was talking about this Crash Easter Egg in Uncharted 4!  It'd be really swell if Naughty Dog got the rights to Crash Bandicoot and decided to create a new Crash game! That'd be awesome!
