There is a new medal draw in KHUX NA the week of 5/13 - 5/19. 

 

This draw includes Epic Medals which are extra powerful and rare, and they all start at 5-star level. They can also be strengthened to have a Level 3 Special Attack Bonus. The new medals include:

 

• Black Coat King Mickey
• Zack
• Aladdin
• KH2 Kairi
• KH CoM Black Coat Riku
• Final Form Sora

The draw guarantees a 5-star Epic Medal and gives the other 9 medals in the draw a higher chance of also being an Epic Medal.

Black Coat King Mickey also comes with the Attack Boost II skill, so you'll be lucky to get him! The draw costs 3000 jewels. Good luck!

I did it and got the Black Coat Mickey and KH1 Riku. Everything else was kinda rubbish. 2 Dumbos, an Ollette, 2 Captain Goofys, Valor Sora and 2 Daisys.

I managed to get two Black Coat Mickey's in one pack, no Final Form Sora though, and a few Yuffies.  Really want the Final Form Sora though....

Yeah, I'm a little disappointed that most aren't useful to me, but at least I got one good medal.My Magic medals are still terrible so I would have liked Final Form Sora.

Is the medal pack worth it? Should I really spend 15$ on it?

Without any new Story missions, the only other way to get jewels without buying them is logging in every day to get the daily login bonus.

The NA version is getting crazy out of hand. There's no real way to progress other then spending money... and not light money either by the way. 100 bucks for 4 10x pulls that dropped not even enough to 3 dot any of the new heroes

Meh, I'm saving up all my jewels for whenever the BbS cast or Organization XIII medals come out.

Guess where my 6600 jewels went towards?

As long as you are not aiming to be top of the Colosseum you can progress just fine. THe story missions aren't hard yet.I'm level 213, ranked 120th, finished all story missions, and have yet to spend any money lol.

No not really.  It is a bit more generous with the daily jewels though, you always get a minimum of 300 per day.  The same problem still persists, but that's just like any mobile F2P game.  Bad RNG = no progression, that's how it goes.  

 

Edit:  Incidentally, did a single 10 pull on my NA account that I haven;t really used yet (still level 12 lol) and got majorly rewarded with Final Form sora, Limit form sora, 2x Darkness Riku (with attack boosts no less), and some other nice things.  I was waiting to play this account until I could shore up my medals a bit, seems like I'm good to go.

Just think about when the Organization Member medals come out.  That's XIII freaking medals you have to get!  And if you want to guilt any of them...my lord.  Sweet Papa Nomura take my wallet and burn it lol.

I think as long as you can advance to the game, I wouldn't worry investing so much at this early in the game. There are far more better deal in the future.

I think its because their progressing the game too fast.  JP didn't bring out gilt for like... 4 months after the game came out and they seem to be rushing through some of the medal releases.  Its made the progression a lot faster paced than it should've been.

technically I believe Org.XIII medals are 26 in total not including the SP versions.

are these medals going to stay in the pulls once they switch to the new medals? im not sure how these pulls change...i guess the better question would be, do previous pull medals stay even after they add in new pulls? or are they actually limited to that time?

The medals all stay in rotation, meaning you can get them from other pulls. The deals are just to help get specific things; for here, you were guaranteed an epic medal, but a future draw has no such guarantee even though it's possible.Certain things, like the Huey Dewey and Louie medal, seem to be exclusive, but will likely be released in the future again (or maybe they'll make it so you can evolve to it).
