Anyway, I hope this game has a better storyline than the last one. I liked the original game but there was definitely room for improvement. The gameplay was fun though, .

I assume access to the closed beta is only given to those who do preorders on the PlayStation Store and not anywhere else.

Aww man. I don't have the money right now. I was gonna cancel my Amazon pre-order, but then I remembered PSN charged the full ammount immediatly. Amazon waits until they ship it.

Gamescom 2016 showed off a new trailer for the game featuring some new material, mostly focusing on the new 6v1 boss battle feature.

Cool, there's going to be a forest-like portion of Conton City.  It looks very impressive to me.

 

I wonder if the character you make will actually be possessed and that you have to fight off the possession.

 

I'll admit it was really nice to see that many characters face off against Great Ape Vegeta.  I want to play the game even more now.

I didn't notice that part of the trailer where some characters were holding back the blast Vegeta sent.  This gives me more hope for beam clashes being in the game.

I do hope that the apes will actually pose a challenge this time.

It seems that way in the trailer, but we can't really tell until we get a playable version of a great ape fight. It does look fun though, especially with that teleporter .

I wasn't really fun of these battles in the first game as they were pretty easy(attack from behind, tail grab, win) and felt very repetitive and boring.

A quick commercial aired for XV2 on Japanese TV. It shows off a little bit of previously unseen footage from what looks like the story mode, but that's about it.

 

 

So... take it for what you will.

There's not much to say given how fast and little was shown.

YouTube channel SaiyanGamer has captured footage from the XV2 playable demo at Gamescom, including gameplay for new characters Coola and Dodoria and the new "Tree of Might" map.

 

Dodoria's ultimate looks like it's the opposite of kid Gohan's Explosive Assault.

 

It's always nice to see a new map that will be in the game.

Rhymestyle & SeeReax collaborated on a video where they talked about a recent European press release for the game that talked about several new gameplay related details.

Excellent, more parallel quests.  Zero stats avatar mode?  Interesting.

All of those improvements sound quite good.  Now all I wonder if Super Armor will still be a thing in Xenoverse 2.

Great news, I have a PS4 so I'm gonna keep my pre order up, but my BF is between jobs right now since he just moved and he doesn't. Maybe he can cancel his pre-order and get some money back.
