What changed? (Spoilers?)

Posted

So I was just wondering for any Kingdom Hearts game what got changed or censored when they translated it to english? I know that

Axel's death was changed

and some other things but like what else did they change?

In the GBA version of Chain of Memories, Axel cursed by saying "hell" but was later removed from other games.

They change the way vexen was killed in Re:com

the pirate zombies had guns but was censored into having crossbows instead...which doesnt really make sense O.o

Sure it does. They're medieval zombie pirates.

Probably robots too.

Xigbar's reticule changed from the Japanese version to a more child-friendly one.

Sucks. >.<

the hydra actually produced blood when its heads got sliced off in the japanese version instead of the puff of smoke in thenglish. also in the japanese version xigbar had a technique where he combined his guns and entered into a first person sniping mode but was taken out of the english. any others i alredy knew have been stated already.

in kh com you didn't get to fight zexion

You what else makes sense? How crossbows are infact more deadly and violent than a flimsy musket, which is probably the reason they changed the weapon and kept the deadly musket firing animation and soundeffects

In khbbs braig didnt combine his weapon abd his crosshairs changed. and instead of the queen from dwarf woodlands glowing red and forcing the mirror to fight terra she threw a potion at it. re:com has a third marluxia boss.

And Vinyl gets better sound than other media, it's still a dated method for the time.

thats what i meant. it doesnt make sense to "censor" something and then replace it with something more dangerous xD
