For people living in the USA i'm sure it's been a pretty bad day with all the stuff going on about the Orlando shootings. But here's a bit of encouragement, since we can't all be down and upset all the time.
Human life isn't something we can get back after we lose it. Once it's gone, all we can do is remember the person who died and keep them in our thoughts. Don't ever count what you've lost, look at how much you still have. I still have a family, I still have friends in real life and a lot of you guys on here are my friends, I still have a home and I still have the clothes on my back. There's plenty to live for and plenty to look forward to. Count everything you still have. It adds up.
The life that you and I complain about is just a dream to others.
Everyone you've ever laid eyes on in your entire life has an entire series of complex thoughts inside their head and a huge number of problems they'll have to overcome. In a sense, they are just like you.
The only thing that separates you and the other people you lay eyes upon are looks. Your eyes may be bigger or your hair be darker or your skin may be whiter, but they've gone through plenty of sad times just like you and I have. Your opinions may clash and you dislike what they believe in, but we all share the same pain of losing loved ones or feeling alone. In the end, all we really have is each other.
There are some things I can't see eye to eye with. But I have to understand that the person I'm arguing with is just a passionate man/woman driven to fulfil their own desires before they die out. In the end, they are just like me. I just want to die happy before I meet my creator.
But life is a miracle and there are plenty of miracles that humans perform. Kids are overcoming disabilities and beating deadly cancers, brave men and women risk their lives in the police force and the firefighters and the army. But let us not forget the one of the biggest sacrifices made;
The brave men who fought to save the world from Hitler's tyranny during WW2. Wether these men who saved us be British, Russian, French, American or Indian. They risked their lives so that we could all have a future. They gave up so much freedom so that we could be free today.
Remember the sacrifices that people made for you, and don't ever let them be in vain.
The goal in life, s not to live forever, but to create something that will.
Keep moving forward and keep forging your path ahead, no matter how difficult it gets! We must remember those who are gone and try to change the world for the better, one step at a time. Even if we all can't agree on the step, moving forward is better than staying still.
