Borderlands 2- The humor is great and the loot aspect is addicting. Final Fantasy X- Is simply one of the greatest RPGs ever made and is just plain fun to play. I really want The Darkness 3 and Darksiders 3! I'd put FFX up there definitely, never liked Darksiders and I've never played Borderlands 2 or The Darkness. I think KH1 and KH2 are definitely worthy of being in a top 5 list, but none of the other games in the franchise come close imo.
June 17, 20169 yr Author I'd put FFX up there definitely, never liked Darksiders and I've never played Borderlands 2 or The Darkness. I think KH1 and KH2 are definitely worthy of being in a top 5 list, but none of the other games in the franchise come close imo. Mainly KH 1, 2 and DDD are the best but I like every game in the series as a whole. The Darkness and Borderlands 2 are great just a little slow to start but once you get into them they're really good.
June 17, 20169 yr Darksiders (1 and 2)- The gameplay is so much fun and the story of the horsemen is interesting. I recently bought the bundle lol
June 18, 20169 yr Ooh, nice top five list! I'll provide mine! 5) Dark Souls (I've only played the first one, but dammmnnn son, that game is amazing! It's very hard, yes, but it's so rewarding! Definitely deserves a place on this list! I've yet to play II and III, but if I had, then the Dark Souls series would probably be higher up on this list, but of course, never taking the number one spot, as KH will always be number one, in my opinion, lol. ) 4) Jak And Daxter Trilogy (My favorite Naughty Dog games, very well done! They are great games, and I hope that one day, the series will continue!) 3) Tales Series (I fell in love with Tales Of Xillia because of it's anime style and amazing story, and ever since then, I've played Symphonia 1 and 2, and Tales Of Graces F! And I'm looking forward to playing more Tales games!) 2) Final Fantasy Series (Got into this one thanks to Kingdom Hearts! And well, of all the Final Fantasy games I've played, IV reigns supreme as my all time favorite! I've played quite a few others and enjoyed them very much, but IV is my love! I can't wait for XV! ) 1) Kingdom Hearts (Possibly the greatest video game series of all time, in my honest opinion! And every day it grows more popular and develops a bigger fanbase! Lol, as for why I love it, well, I don't think I even need to mention, because everything about the series is insanely awesome!) Video games are awesome!
June 18, 20169 yr never played the Darkness, but I gave Borderlands 2 a shot and...well...idk maybe it's more fun when you have friends but i thought it was a tad bit boring to play through. same with Darksiders, although i think the Zelda-esque gameplay mixed with the fetch quests turned me off from that game. FFX is a good game, and as for the KH games I'd agree with Shinobi Palace and say KH1 and KH2 are basically the high points of the series, imo.
June 18, 20169 yr 1. Kingdom Hearts 2 (This is obviously my favorite video game of time because this game is one of the first games I have played. It's also because of the story and the pure action rpg gameplay it promises. The combos are pretty awesome even though you have to press the X button a lot to do it) 2. Tales of xillia (This is my all time favorite tales of game as of now. I love it to bits because it doesn't try to be more opened like most games nowadays are. For some reason I like linear games, but to an extent. Not saying that I hate open world games,I'm saying that it uses a formula I like and a formula I'm used too and that just because a game is more opened, doesn't really make it better then linear games. Similar to kh2, it has an action rpg gameplay. To be more specific, the game has a nonlinear combat system, meaning the game doesn't have any control over what combos you can do. You have control over the combos you do. That One of the reasons why I love this game so much. ) 3. Spirit Tracks (This is my favorite zelda game. This is my third favorite video game of all time because it is portable. I remember taking my ds to a lot of places in my country. When I was bored and had nothing to do for a while, especially if I was out of my house, this game was always with me. Since, of course this is a video game, I enjoy it more for the gameplay then story. Not saying the story's bad or anything, I actually found it to be pretty good, though most people will say it's generic, which I totally disagree with. The gameplay is pretty good though using the sylus to control link 100% of the time is kinda annoying, but I got used to it eventually. I would recommend anybody who likes using the touch screens a lot on gaming to give this game a try. It's not that bad once you get used to the gameplay ) 4. Twilight Princess (This game is my second favorite zelda game. The story is obviously pretty simple *I honestly have no idea why people complain about the story in this one. I thought it was actually pretty good* The gameplay is awesome. In this game, you get to play as pretty much two characters, Link and Wolf Link. Link is the character you start off in the game obviously. He can pretty much do the things that previous links before him can do expect that he can use hidden skills. Hidden skills are special attacks that are found in the game that can be used to give the player an advantage in battle. Wolf Link plays differently. He can sniff, attack, and dig up stuff from the ground. He even has a special attack when you hold the B button. It can be used to attack multiple enemies at once. Okay, I think I explained well enough why I like the gameplay, but I almost forgot to talk about how linear it is. The game is linear, which is fine by not. It doesn't have to be all open worldy to win my heart.) 5. Okami (This game made it into my list because this game actually encouraged me to explore dispute it being somewhat linear. Unlike the legend of zelda: Skyward Sword, This game is linear and still managed to be fun. the game was inspired by the zelda series, which explained a lot about it gameplay wise and storywise too. Speaking of the story. The story is pretty simple just like a zelda title, but that didn't win me over to like the game. I like the game because of mostly the gameplay. The story had little influence over me despite my liking stories in video games.) Edited June 18, 20169 yr by Zeldablade7
June 19, 20169 yr Kingdom Hearts (all of them): One of the first games I ever played. This game taught me what really friendship is. Whenever I play this game I get nostalgic. Oh c'mon, everything in this game was perfectly amazing! Assassin's Creed 2: I still prefer the old AC than today. The story was touching and inspiring. I really love the soundtrack its very relaxing. Ezio was the real badass here, and I saw how he developed through the game. This game taught me so many lessons in life. One of my favorite quotes like “We don't need anyone to tell us what to do, We are free to follow our own path. There are those who will take that freedom from us, and too many of you gladly give it.” I will always love this game. Dragon Age 2: I will never get tired playing this game I've finished it for more than 5 times. I know some people said this game was "rushed", but I don't care! The characters were just amazing, their backstory really interested me. One of my favorite things in this game were the romances! Mass Effect 2: Just like DA2, I've finished it so many times. I just really enjoyed playing it. The romances were great. What I really like in this game was the gameplay. And I really can't wait for ME: Andromeda! The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt: This game was exhaustingly long but its worth my money! There were so many free dlcs! The protagonist was really badass. I really love killing big monsters. And the soundtrack was purely beautiful.
