How about Something Different?

Posted

Anyone else getting a little tired of the same Utada songs being used over and over and over again in the Kingdom Hearts Saga? I know I am.

Don't get me wrong, those songs are really awesome and they hold a special place in my heart -- I still listen to them to this day.

But, I think we need something different now, and since Utada won't be making anymore songs for the Kingdom Hearts Saga (At least that is what I heard, but, hey, who knows?) who do you think should make the newer songs?

Got any songs in mind right now that might go perfectly with KH?

Do tell!

I'm a little tired of them as well, but i still love hearing them.

I don' have any suggestion, but it will probably something about Bond, Friendship, love, and all of that.

I agree! I LOOOVE her songs but they're getting a little old. Personally I would love to have "Ring a bell" by Bonnie Pink in some KH game, because for some reason I just associate that song to KH 8D

Here's the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VIdf3L4y_g&feature=related

But it's already used for another game D:

Or I would love this song by Ayumi Hamasaki to be in the series 8D:

i know what you mean, but to be honest i dont think it would feel the same with a different song

first at least have the song i love you by utada in the next game then for the next one . i know its really out there and probably wont ever happen but i think the song for the opening should be drumroll........dramatic pause............faint by linkoln park

what just happend?

this post was tthe same as the last one i did -.-

i only posted it once. WUT IS THIS!

I agree--great as the songs are, would it kill them to change it up a bit? =/

The Reason There used like let's say "simple and clean" in bbs is because it takes place closer to kh1 cause there are only new songs when a numbered one like kh1 or kh2 come out

Utada Hikaru only signed a contract for those two songs. Re Coded has a new opening theme though. Not by utada hikaru :(.

It dosen't bother me that much but they should of used a different one for BBS at least.

I use Max Stiener's opening score from Gone with the Wind in the opening of BBS

Notice how they are using old Utada songs on games that take place in the past.

BBS= Simple and Clean, because it relates to KH1 a lot.

358/2 Days= Sanctuary. Directly relates to KH2.

I think if KH 3D takes place after Coded, it will have a new Utada song, and we definitely can expect a new one for KH3.

im kinda tired of them too and there wont be any new songs utada only did a contract for those two songs then stopeed cause i think disney not paying her enough
