I do want to try this game out at some point and whilst I was on holiday I thought of buying it at full price when I came home.

Then I watched Angry Joe's review and learnt how bone dry the content was. I wasn't surprised though, I do recall saying this a while back (It may have been on this site can't remember xD) that one planet would just be green, one yellow and they'd only have tiny differences.

If it drops to £15 I'll buy it then probably. I do believe there's also going to be DLC xD

LOL. I saw this coming from a mile away anyway. It's another Destiny really.

It's not a bad game, I'm not trying to defend the game or Sean Murray. People just say it's bad because it's missing a lot features that were promised, but on it's own it's an okay game not bad but not great. It's not worth 60 dollars though not even close it may be worth 15 or 20 dollars in its current state.

But even thought it's missing a lot of features and such I still enjoy the game but I also had no expectations from it

It's definitely not bad, but it does have stuff that's not there that obviously did exist before that was seen in previous gameplay videos and trailers, as well as stuff mentioned by Sean that just isn't there. Maybe they just had a ton of issues and had to cut them out to hit release, maybe they did lie, who knows? Either way I didn't follow the game much. All I saw originally before release was the VGX trailer when that premiered, one other trailer, and Sean Murray's interview on Youtube Live @ E3 w/ Geoff Keighley. So my expectations were pretty low and I literally thought from the VGX trailer that it wouldn't meet the hype. But I thought it would be a game I would like, even if just a little, no matter what.

If i'm being honest, for what is there, I do like it. Don't get me wrong it's hardly the best game, but it's not the worst like all the massively overhyped disappointed fanboys are saying it is. I've got about 40 hours so far, and i'm still finding at least some amusing stuff and enjoying the whole exploration element. I'm looking forward to future updates and hopefully some of what's not there makes its way back into the game. What content is there now...it's not worth 60 bucks. However if you think you're really gonna enjoy it and think you'd get a lot of time out of it; I would say go for it. I certainly got my moneys worth.

(Mods on PC really help out as well in keeping the player's interest if I do say so myself)

I saw this coming a mile away. Procedurally generated games never turn out all that great, barring minecraft which had creative value.

instead of being a discovery game, it's a resource farming game with some mildly eye catching sights sprinkled between. It could learn so things from abzû or Subnautica

It's not a game for everyone. I would play it, but like you, I'm going to wait this one out a bit. Doesn't look like it's worth it at this point in time
