who's the better storyteller?

Nomura of the kingdom hearts series or kodaka of the danganropa series? I'm aware that this is a kh site, but this is only aimed at the people who know the storyline of the danganropa series

I don't think you can classify one better than the other. They're simply too different to really compare.

Isn't DanganRonpa originally an anime? And I heard it's all about murders and mystery, kind of like death note or cluedo. From a distance it seems too different to compare to Kingdom Hearts' story.

it's a video game series because Danganropa the animation is based off of Danganropa 1 the game

It's kind of like the Ace Attorney series, but without a defence or prosecution. Everyone works together to find the killer. Investigations are kind of similar, but the story is much darker than Ace Attorney. I've only finished up to the first case so far and I can definitely say it's worth buying. It's good but a bit gruesome at some points. Also, I feel the characters show a bit more personality in Danganronopa.

As for comparing it to Nomura's work, I really can't say much. Even though I haven't progressed far, I can easily say that they are not things that can be compared.

Never played Danganranpa, but I have seen several things about it and theyre just too different to compare with each other.

It's like comparing Star Wars and LOTR. They both share a light versus dark conflict with characters that are flawed and are trilogies, but are otherwise so different that comparing them only highlights how different they are and not just because they're different genres.

It's a game series actually but they tend to release the anime adaptations either simultaneously with the game or a little bit before it

I'd say we can compare similar games which if we do that, KH is a hack and slash with some idea of RPG stuff but very small.

Let's compare it to Devil May Cry or God of war since those i can think right now.

Devil May cry 3, 1 and 4 have good plots even if it's goofy at times. Sora and Riku had a Virgil and Dante feeling in the first game but that's kind of gone now and I generally like Devil May Cry's theme throughout its games.

God of war is pretty ehh since it's about as sexual and violent you can get in the ps2 and early ps3 days, i found it pretty ehhh. it's just too cynical and gets shit messed up in mythology.

Kh is the god of war camp for me, due to it being as bad plot wise and having cookie cutter gameplay in kh2 and even in a few other games of the series.
