As most of us already know, Kingdom Hearts Unchained X will continue past X with the story and go into what is seen as a season 2 for the KHUX storyline.

 

I was curious what everyone else thought would be a possible Disney world which can be travelled to during this story.

 

I feel Enchanted Dominion and Castle of Dreams will be available, to continue with the Princess of Hearts homeworlds. Not sure if Radiant Gardens/Destiny Islands would be though for Kairi.

 

What Disney worlds does everyone else think could appear?

Those are my personal predictions of the remaining worlds. I have a good feeling that Unchained X will conclude before the release of Kingdom Hearts III.

That's all I can think of right now.... Mostly we're come across worlds mainly with the 7 Princesses of Heart (Excluding Kairi since X[chi] and Unchained X takes place before Sora and co.). But I don't think that would stop us from seeing how in the world she got into Destiny Islands in the first place, plus seeing Radiant Garden becoming Hollow Bastion. 

But I'm betting as we see new worlds, that means new (Fragments) medals and Keyblades. And we might revisit old worlds such as, Agrabah because Jasmine is the Light of Agrabah. 

We might see familiar faces and face familiar foes of our childhood past. I'm totally calling it Snake Jafar and Dragon Maleficent.

As much as I'd love the inclusion of that world, I really don't think it's possible simply because all the worlds selected for X are from Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts 1 or Kingdom Hearts 2.

If they do literally mean a full new set of worlds and story that goes beyond the infamous Keyblade War as a "Season 2" (I'm pretty sure they meant that, but I also like hearing them literally say it straight to us, just so there's no confusion), then for one thing, I have a strong feeling that whatever worlds that they either can't get into KH3 or just don't feel like including in KH3 might have a decent chance here. That might mean mostly already explored worlds or even one or two new ones (if Jungle Book in KH3 can't work out, then where else is better than Unchained X?) Enchanted Dominion I feel is all but confirmed for that, seeing as how they had artwork of a level one Fairy Stars Keyblade, a title card for Enchanted Dominion, and of course, the secret epilogue that just came out. As for what worlds specifically I'm hoping for...I have no idea. Whatever fits best I guess.

 

Oh, actually, if they could start doing the seasonal events thing with Unchained like they did with the PC version (you know, Daybreak Town's fountain plaza is decorated for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.), if they could include worlds that fit seasonal events a bit better, that might be awesome! Like, having Halloween Town/Christmas Town and then around those actual holidays having special events dedicated to those.

 

...That's the only idea I have I'm afraid. Anything else someone would suggest might be just as good. Alpha Baymax's list actually sounds like a pretty balanced choice. The only thing I'm not as sure about is KH-original locations like Destiny Islands and Radiant Garden and the like. It's mostly cause we still don't know the full nature of this "continuation", so until we do know for sure, I don't know how those worlds would work (real...illusion...dream?). Still, at this point that doesn't entirely discount them either, it all just depends on what they plan on doing.

 

But yeah, I really do hope that they plan on making this a literal season 2 and include a whole bunch of new worlds to select from (as awesome as it would be to explore past ones, it might not be possible, due to story...unless they have an option to chose between "season 1" and "season 2" from the menu) and a new story to explore that will further connect this to the events of Kingdom Hearts 3. And I really hope Maleficent will be the primary antagonist at large here, it's just been so much fun to have her slowly returning to the fray.

Castle of Dreams is confirmed as a new world (Villa Tremaine background). Since Nomura spoke about an entirely new world (I don't remember if it's supposed to be Disney), I can imagine them seizing the chance to introduce Dumbo and Bambi's worlds. Jungle Book maybe but I think they will save it for another game or even KH3.
