E3 2011 and "PSP Remaster"

Concerning E3 2011, we have a tidbit of news for you which leads to some speculation about the event. Sony have announced that they will be releasing past PSP titles as games for the PlayStation 3. Titled "PSP Remaster", these games will be the best-selling titles for PSP and will be remade with HD graphics and PS3-specific features.

So, what do you think; will Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep be remade for the PS3? While nothing is certain yet, it is definitely a possibility. Birth by Sleep is one of the highest selling titles for PSP, so the chances are high. We may find out more at E3 2011, which is in only 16 days! We hope you're looking forward to this event.

I am 18 years old, i live in Dinuba, CA, which is about 5 hours away from L.A., and i have family there to stay with.

i have never been to E3, but have been a fan of Kingdom Hearts Since the beginning. I would really love it if I won the trip to E3, even though it is highly unlikely.

Either way, thanks for taking me into consideration.

Oh, and i'm using a new account because i cannot remember the password for my old one with almost the same name.

Hi there!

I just jumped on to see if there are any legit theories people have for the KH series since I'm a huge storyline junkie. I'm working on a video/cutscene timeline with all of the games (it's hours long, haha). I saw this post and wanted to enter the chance to go to E3 since that would be pretty epic.

I'm 19 years old and I live in Orange County (which is just south of L.A.). It would be a huge privilege to go to E3. =)

I really wish I could go to E3, unfortunately I do not live close enough. I live in the Midwest. About these PSP Remasters, I would be ecstatic if Birth by Sleep was released on the PS3. It would give me an excuse to play through it yet again :) It makes sense, it would give Square a chance to release a new secret ending/trailer for the next game. I just hope that the US version would have the Final Mix content. I played the Final Mix and really enjoyed the addition of the new Mirage Arena bosses.

Will it be retitled as Kingdom Hearts Re:Birth by Sleep?

Just saying, you can't automatically assume it will be remade (But come on, what member on this site DOESN'T want it to be remade), but if so, that would probably be the name.

What is the criteria for choosing who goes? Is it random selection?

Anyways, I am turning 18 in June, live in Utah (but will be in California for those dates anways), and would absolutely kill to go. So please count me in!!!

Question. Why don't you just send one of the staff DChiuch?

I wanted to go but I'm one year underage. Sad face :(

Oh well, whoever gets chosen is a lucky person. Hopefully I'll get to go next year .

None could go, unfortunately. You need to be 17, so that cuts out a lot of people. And Kaiso wasn't allowed so yeah, no luck.

Anyway a few of you have asked what the criteria is for choosing, well, we are going to go with who we believe will be the best at filming/covering the event for us, as well as who is most reliable. We have picked a person and will let you know later who it is. :)

Ah shoot, you've already picked someone??? And here I was about to send in my résumé...
