The Three Musketeers world revealed for Kingdom Hearts 3D

Update: Oishii from KH13 has translated parts of the article. You can read this translation below.

The name of the world is "Country of the Musketeers"

The hooded men: "The boss will scold us."
Princess Minnie: "Over there! Please capture those thieves."
Sora and others: "And one for All!"
Pete to others: "Why, with this on I can be a Musketeer too."

"The dream eaters will not only be your companions. On the screen you will be able to train them making their abilities stronger!!"

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance has appeared in the January 2012 issue of V Jump magazine. FF-Reunion has found scans of the article, which you can see below. The article reveals that the new world to be announced at Jump Festa 2012 is a world based on The Three Musketeers. You can see these scans below, in our gallery.

- The Three Musketeers world announced
- Mickey, Queen Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pete (and of course, Sora and Riku) will appear in this world
- Three new Dream Eaters have been announced, Frog Chef, Mimi Bunny and Naru Bird
- Apparently, next week's Weekly Shōnen Jump will reveal more, including that you will fight with all of Neku, Joshua and Beat from The World Ends With You

Please feel free to discuss this news at our forum! In other news, according to a Tweet by Takeharu Ishimoto, one of the composers for the Kingdom Hearts series, they will be composing some tracks for KH3D in the studio tomorrow. Cool!

Oh, I like that movie, it has some funny moments. One of these days I'm going to watch it.

Square's running out of ideas?

Perhaps, yes, but I find the Dream Eaters' design is more sophisticated and I like sophistication. ;)

tutti frutti. I'm so glad that this is an actual world. What I find funny is that I was watching this movie last night. But I'm definitely looking forward to how this world will come together, such as whether or not we would have to save Queen Minnie. Plus, I'd like to see what abilities they put in for Neku and the others in TWEWY. Great info nonetheless.

Wow the story of the muskeeters sure has been everywhere (that movie that came out in fall, pokemon has a trio based on them and now Kingdom hearts (of course though it's based on the disney version but still)...there must be a muskeeter craze)

Well I'm happy to see Mickey and co. Also this was one of my favorite mickey movies :).

I'm both interested and disappointed about this world reveal. It's cool that this is an "original" world and all, but it doesn't seem that exciting to me. I was expecting a Pixar world reveal. And to be honest so far the Hunchback world is the only world that's excited me. But I am probably judging too early, I will wait until the game comes out before I set my opinion. Can't wait for Jump Festa!

Awesome! I love this movie. Still have the VHS in my closet. Brings back fond memories of 2004. :3

I'm actually surprised that they're putting DTVs in the series, though. Does that mean they're running out of theatrical films? I mean, there are plenty to choose from, right?

I've never played TWEWY before so I haven't the slightest idea who the heck Joshua and Beat or whoever are, but they sound cool. :P

And, yeah, the new Dream Eaters DO look kinda Unversed-y... I find that pretty sweet actually, since I like the appearance of the Unversedes... es.

Yes!!!! Finally more info. I have been waiting to hear forever!! It is the only thing keeping me going

That new part on the dream eaters make them sound like they might be able to evolve...

ENGLAND ENGLAND PLEASEEEEEEE

Uh... The whole evolving thing, I hope not

but I like how you can train them. Still weird how there's a heart there, though... But we train them through AR, awesome!

I was hoping no Donald and Goofy this time..

Only one world though, so : D Unless they join us for the next worlds. D :

Oh, new compositions tomorrow? Goody, goodyyyy..

Yeah, I don't think we're exactly going to escape the main characters BFFs...that is, besides Riku and Kairi.
