Kingdom Hearts 10th Anniversary Box details revealed

UGH IM SO PISSED! 10 years of being loyal kingdom hearts fans and we're rewarded with THIS!? way to half-ass things Nomura :angry: those games aint even that important and is the WORST choices to welcome newcomers to the series. come back when you have something worth wild like, oh i dont know, MAIN CONSOLE KH game bundles!! *fumes*

Lol. All this rage is hilarious. You know guys, they could have just done nothing. I mean, I wouldn't have been surprised if they did absolutely nothing. Yeah, HD remakes for PS3 and/or 360 and/or WiiU would have been cool, and I wouldn't complain about plushies, toys, or CDs. But hey, this is pretty decent. I will get it on two conditions:

1) The case is like the Zelda Crystal Armor case my brother has, as it is pretty cool. If it is just a carrying case, I already have two for DS/3DS games, and two for my DS/3DS.

 

2)There is at least something different for the Days and Re:coded games. Extra content, or even just special packaging. I wouldn't mind replaying either of these two games, as I loved Days (Tied for favorite KH game), and Re:coded was fun. Just add something to it.

looks like im not getting the 10th anniversary bundle. which is 15,000 )around 195 USD) for the three games. I already have 358/2 days, havent played completely through Re:Coded but i already know the story. so yeah, i wont be getting this. hopefully, the 3ds will come out in the States and i can get that someday =)

what jip enix screws us again days and code no wants to play play those we want hd remakes.

Typical Square Enix. If a bundle comes out in NA, I'll be buying that. Days and Re:Coded aren't worthy of my money.

Me thinks people were expecting a bit too much for this. I was expecting it to be way more disappointing. Nomura hinted at HD remakes, though we never got more than that. People were expecting HD remakes of KHI and KHII Final Mix versions, along with Re:CoM, in one box for the PS3 (I would be pretty disappointed if it was only on PS3, I really don't want one...), plus some bonuses like art books and CDs. This whole thing was just destined to cause rage.

Pretty much agreeing here. Really, why would they bundle Sony games with a 3DS? Doesn't really make any sense to me

 

For the bundle itself, I don't really care. I already got a 3DS and Days+Re:Coded, so the box never interested me.

In reply to the bolded, that is how I was introduced to KH. Personally, I would gladly play Days and Re:coded again. However, I am not ready to spend so much money on the box unless there is at least something different. I would be happy with special edition packaging, to be honest.

its not really about sony fanboys its about wanting kingdom hearts 1 and 2 remade for current gen and they originally can out on SONY ps2 so...yeah

I am definetly not gettting this. no way. I was totally sure they were going to do an HD 1 and 2. This move from square.... almost makes me want to not like kingdom hearts any more. man i feel old on this forum haha, i was 11 when kh1 came out and ive been a fan ever since... in fact it has helped fuel my love of video games in general over the years. now im not as upset as some people over this bundle and i am super excited to get kh3D (playing as riku!!! ) but days and re:coded are by far my least favorite game in the series so if this get released outside of japan i'll be giving it a miss.

Wow. I'm sorry but i think this is a mistake i mean come on? your gonna put the 2 worst games (profit wise) in the box so you can sell it more for the franchise. I think they shouldve done ALOT more i mean come on it's been freaking 10 years! I wouldve remade KH1 and possibly KH2. Dream Drop DIstance is going to save their butts though.

Same for me I was 10 when KH came out, my dad bought it for us (me and my sisters) and like always he and I shared one save.

I got up to the end of Hollow Bastion and got stuck then KH2 came out, I played that for a while but then my parents seperated in late 06 and didn't play KH agian till last year when I restarted KH1 and finally finshed it, played half of COM then KH2 and Days, bought a new psp cause my old one broke and played BBS (good year for me ).

 

I didn't really think the anniversary box would be a HD remake (1FM+ReCom+2FM) but i thought that it would be at least some thing to do with KH1 or at worst something that would be worth getting but for me this is not.

Fact of the matter is as much as i liked days and somewhat coded it does not do the tenth aniversary justice especially since those games were the last to come out and people are more likely to own then already. Not to mention the price that they ask for is a little high for something most people already have.

profit wise, Days actually sold around the same amount as BBS and CoM (GBA version)
