The wait is finally over! Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, the latest chapter of the Kingdom Hearts series, is now available worldwide!

 

After releasing in Japan on January 12th, 2017, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue topped both physical and digital sales throughout the country. Despite a delay of one month and an early release in several parts of the world, the HD compilation has been met with a large amount of positive feedback by journalists around the world, as well as a lot of excitement from fans about its prominent ties to Kingdom Hearts III.

Definitely enjoyed it! Still has some room for improvement, but definitely a step in the right direction from BBS and 3D. Bizkit's video reflects my thoughts almost perfectly.

    Just wanted to say that I was able to get the game last night, even before midnight!

     

    Long story short, a manager (I believe) from Gamestop called me, informing me that KH 2.8 would be available for pick-up from 9-10 PM only.  I had pre-ordered the collection previously, and received the Limited Edition.  Apparently, Disney or Square Enix (whoever is the publisher) had greenlighted a legal early release before the official release, mainly due to the game releasing ahead of time around the world.

     

    I have yet to play it, and there is only one reason for that: I'm still catching up with KH 2.5!  I finally completed Aqua's main story, and am playing the Final Episode.  Once that is finished, I plan to play the Secret Episode, especially before BBS 0.2.  I may begin playing KH 3D tonight, depending on time.  Either way, this a very exciting time to be a (hardcore) KH fan!
