of course its london nowhere else in the uk exists apparently

KH3 demo is almost everywhere. Japan, London, Germany...everywhere except on my (and everyone's) ps store, which is a real shame

I hope they like the demo and share some info on youtube or something.

seems that way

Mainly because the SE Europe offices are located in London. It's just like with all the awesome demos and appearances are in LA since SE NA is located there. They can't have it in all major cities.

It's because the event that agreed to host it is in London. Most major events are in London or in big cities, as they are hub cities. They can also afford to host big events that attract a great attendee base in big venues like the Excel centre, where SitC 2018 is being held atm.

With EGX coming soon in September, there's a possibility KH3 could be available to play in Birmingham (at the NEC).

More people would attend an event in hub locations, that's why, so it may be a bit of a loss to not take advantage of that

You're right, it's not, but it's undoubtedly the largest and as mentioned before, SE is located there. I can understand the frustration, but they cannot be everywhere and close to everyone, so they have to choose the location which will benefit both the company and the people the most.

And that would be London in this case. Just as it is in other big cities in other countries.

It also depends on the events taking place there and what would be most sensible marketing-wise. For example, it's coming to Cologne in Germany and not Berlin, the capital, because of the gamescom taking place in the former city. Since that is an event with a large target audience and both national and international attendees, it makes sense to do it there.

I can imagine that a lot of people would like to play jt but can't because of distance. I'm also driving 500km to Cologne (though not solely for KH3), but this type of marketing also costs lots of money so they have to select the places which reach the largest quantity of potential buyers while still covering an adequate amount of different countries to appeal to people who are not so well-versed in English to follow everything online.

In the end, London is not only the best choice because of its size, space and reach, but also out of convenience. Traveling far also is a matter of organizing transport for example and the people who get to play mainly receive the opportunity for free. On the contrary, SE often even has to pay for their booths.

Marketing is an investment and KH3, while having evolved from a very niche game, is still not as big as other titles which could afford extensive marketing.

Coming from a Welshman what would be the point? The event was located in London, it's convenient not only from a UK perspective, but Northern European too. If London is an issue for you, then there's the potential in Birmingham. You can't expect SE to cater for every country or city.
