Sora to be Available for Limited Time Only This Winter

LOS ANGELES (Oct. 27, 2016) – SQUARE ENIX® today announced that Sora, the beloved star of the KINGDOM HEARTS series, has been given an adorable WORLD OF FINAL FANTASY™ makeover, and will be available as free downloadable content for the game this winter.

Commemorating the release of KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue early next year, Sora will be available for download for a limited time only, appearing in his KINGDOM HEARTS Dream Drop Distance HD outfit. Further information on how to obtain the Sora champion summon will follow at a later date.

This is pretty cool! I think it's awesome that Sora's breaking out and making a cameo appearance in a non-KH game! This could open the door to hopefully having Sora as a DLC character for the new Dissidia which I believe makes its way next year to the PS4, if I'm not mistaken! :D

Dissidia hasn't been confirmed for next year sadly, they said they want it exclusive to arcades for at least a year. It originally released November 26th 2015. Although it looks done, the arcade version doesn't have a story and has about 14-15 characters. The PSP games had full stories and tons of characters xD. But Tetsuya Nomura did say voice acting is underway for Dissidia so maybe it'll come out next year to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the franchise, which would be a pretty amazing gift!

I myself think that having Sora in Dissidia would actually fit, and be awesome. And as for WOFF.... i've been wanting the game for a bit now.. Hopefully, i'll get it for Christmas just in time to get the DLC because SORA'S ADORABLE!!

Ahh, I see!  Well, then we'll just have to hope that we get Dissidia next year in time for Final Fantasy's 30th Anniversary! It would indeed make an awesome gift, and it would be a nostalgic entry point for longtime Dissidia fans to jump back into the fray with new and old characters, and a new take on the Dissidia gameplay, ya know? Let's see what happens! :)

Yep, he definitely would, considering his badass fighting skills! He'd fit right in with the likes of the Final Fantasy characters! But yeah, haha, Sora will be a nice addition to World Of Final Fantasy! :D

I have a question regarding the Sora dlc.

Ok so i know its a limited time dlc. My question is this...since most of the dlc is on the dlc page will the dlc disappear if i start a new game after the campaign ends?

As long as you don't overwrite your old save file then probably not.
