i kind of work out the story as i go along. like, i'll have some major points already plotted out, but everything else will just come gradually. the hardest part for me is coming up with a good beginning. i've had times where i literally have the entire story figured out, but no way to begin it.

i do the same (although not just with funny scenes). it's so hard to actually get the same visual down on paper sometimes.

@ertyx: it's good to space yourself out and work on different genres! i've found it really helps me write better. and comedy is hard ugh. it's always been my least favourite to write. @genn: whatever you're comfortable with, dear. and that's actually really good advice~

so if you don't mind playing in japanese, you can try the patches! i found a self-installing one yesterday though, so if you want it i can try and dig it up.

the easiest way to work around roms is to change your system locale to japanese, but that's pretty tedious and can mess some things up.

i think it might be just a patch to get the ROM to work on english locales?? idk, i saw something similar yesterday and that's all it did. no translations or anything. you could always try it out though to be sure.
