I have the same problem though my problem is on youtube. I heard that its eather the ISP that is throttling your internet to certain IP (such as youtube) or youtubes servers that are doing the same due to server overload

You get a email for every notification you get on the website along with notes and what not. happened to me before also eventually though it will start going to your junk box if you dont open them.
