They were separated because Xehanort needed a light of pure heart and pure darkness. Ventus light wasn't strong enough to sustain him-- though that is an interesting theory, it doesn't really "sound" like the way Sora would speak at the beginning, especially since he's only a kid and they later meet in one of the final scenes, but that might just be me...

TNBC and Corpse bride are two of the best halloween time movies. Although I've mostly been watching more violent stuff... I'll probably be watching TNBC on halloween night.

I've been curious as to if perhaps... the org. XIII members might also have humanoid heartless that are just waiting to be discovered-- or say the least, boss heartless. I've also been wanting to perhaps see some of the members come back-- at least for a short scene or two, maybe for a happy ending to the Xehanort sega. I don't know if I'll stick with the story after that, however... It depends on if they can find a good way to keep the story going that isn't overly repetitive and boring. And as funny as that would be the mushrooms probably aren't their heartless.

...Well this is certainly random. I always found oogie boogie to be rather incredibly amusing, and not scary. Although I didn't see the movie until a few years back? I also always get that stuck in my head... He really isn't a great rhymer but it's amusing. Can say this though. the bug scene... was gross. Ugh. I'm pretty in love with Halloween town overall though, /and/ the movie itself. I'm not sure who could really be afraid of Oogie... maybe slightly grossed out, but afraid?

Are you talking about http://kh13.com/videos/bbs/eng-cut/286/ this scene? Because that appears to happen at the end of the game... As far as I'm aware Ven doesn't officially meet Sora until that. Although there's also http://kh13.com/videos/bbs/eng-cut/94/ But we aren't really sure who talks to Ventus in that scene...

I know, right? I still don't quite understand that myself... You'd think it would look like a dark Ven more than anything else, but nope, BAM Sora with black hair + yellow eyes and a really evil personality. Well, /I/ find them interesting. Roxas and Ven are about tied, Axel's pretty cool too, yeah... Vanitas is sort of creepy-cool but I'm not sure that he's become a favorite yet...

The first time I played Kingdom Hearts was sometime in 2007. Hello, Ryan! my next favorites would probably be Aqua, Zexion, Sora and Riku, and Ven. I quite like a few of the more disliked/boring characters as well, apparently. Ansem the wise and Vexen, for example.

Just finished putting up lights for the kids. Nice and spooky... but not as much of a tripping hazard.
