  1. lol thanks. Lakers for the Three-Peat next season!
  2. In order to defeat Sephiroth and The Lingering Sentiment you had to go through different phases (depending on how many health bars the secret boss had left triggers a different & more powerful move set) and each phase required different and consistent action. The new Secret Boss in BBS should have at least 3 or more different phases in which you can counteract. Unfortunately we wont know how to do that until September..
  3. I apologize if there's a thread already made for this. Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Official pricing, box art, and release date have not yet been announced by Square Enix.
  4. It's better to leave all current games of the Kingdom Hearts series as it is. Remaking them would take away the time & effort that can be used to develop future Kingdom Hearts games. As for KH3, I believe it'll be released on the next-gen PSP platform.
  5. Unforunately, yes. And it's doing my head in. I thought that myself, but then what possible reason would Nomura have to go back to the data world again? I guess it could be to explain Rikus time in KH 1 more, but then again Re:coded could elaborate on that more instead with more dialog and cutscenes. While going back to the data world could explain their KH1 appearances, it also could be set after 2 with Sora and Riku exploring sleeping memorys or something along those lines. But then, that makes me wonder why there's new worlds. God damn it Nomura has done a big mind**** this time. LOL I'm guessing you saw Get Him To The Greek. One thing is for certain, KH 3D's timeline isn't in the past because Nomura signified that 3D's storyline would follow up on Birth By Sleep, 358/2 Days, and Coded. Hopefully Nomura will shed some more light on the subject in this years Tokyo Game Show.
  6. Heres a list of Disney-Pixar Movies: http://www.disneymovieslist.com/pixar-movies.asp It would make complete sense if they put Monsters Inc. on Kingdom Hearts but as far as the other movies go I'm not too sure how it would work but hey, with Nomura's very creative mind I'm sure anything can happen. But the one most recent Disney film I would like to see on Kingdom Hearts is the Prince of Persia movie. If you liked Pirates of the Carribean on KHII then you'll definitely want the addition of Prince of Persia on a future Kingdom Hearts game.
  7. I'm getting real excited for Re:Coded. I'm assuming since the game is at 80% completion that they'll finish up everything by the end of summer (which ends in September), apply the finishing touches throughout fall and have it released by winter season. I'm hoping that they shoot for an early December date so that it'll be under everyone's tree come Christmas.
  8. I'm a big fan of the KH series and I will buy the 3DS but I aint buying it just for Kingdom Hearts but for other games as well. I will admit however that Kingdom Hearts is a big plus in my decision to buy a 3DS so you can call me a little desperate.. lol
  9. I do recall reading an article on engadget that the 3DS would be up to par with the Wii in graphics. That was just a wide-spread rumor before E3 though. However, based on the videos I've seen I would say the rumor is somewhat true and that the 3DS is almost as powerful as the graphics engine on the Wii. So to sum it all up for you, there is no way Kingdom Hearts 3D can be played on the original DS. If you haven't noticed, Square Enix tends to bring out the best graphics out of every console and handheld like with what they did with 358/2 Days on the DS. I'm sure they'd want to use every bit of graphics power on the 3DS to make Kingdom Hearts 3D a great game. Here is what the catridge looks like: http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/18/nintendo-3ds-game-cart-pictured-wireless-ebook-reader-on-tap/ The only differences it has from the DS cartridge is that it's slimmer and it has a small extra tab on the top right corner. Also the 3DS slot is compatible with DS cartridges so you will be able to play DS games on the 3DS.
  10. Agreed. You've waited this long, why not wait 3 more months? And we get a buttload of extra's! And a secret boss the japanese beta testers where too afraid to fight a 2nd time! -we're so screwed there...- x''D woah... If the beta testers were scared then I'm twice as scared. When I faced Sephiroth in KHII for the first time I almost sh** in my pants. I'm probably gonna need to sit on a toilet when I face the secret boss..
  11. When Nomura said he has plans to release one this year, he should've added the part "IN JAPAN." *sigh* Hopefully Nomura will do what he did with BBS and add a couple more new features to Re:Coded in the American Version.
  12. Judging Square Enix's time line of how long this game will be developed, I'll say a year & a half to two years. As for the time of year of its release I'll have to say late 2011 to early 2012 for Japan and early 2012 to mid 2012 for the U.S. Not that this is important but I also like to mention that Nintendo hand helds have a tendency to improve in technology every two years so possibly we'll see the likes of a new 3DSi around the time Kingdom Hearts 3DS comes out. (I apologize if I'm making it sound like you'll have to spend more money but before 358/2 Days had launched the new Nintendo DSi had came out. I'm anticipating the same thing to happen with Kingdom Hearts 3DS). There will be plenty of time to save up $$ for a 3DS
  13. "8. Sing the bird is the word while fighting Demyx. (Novice)" LOL
  14. Here are some of the connections I believe that are between Star Wars and Kingdom Hearts. If there are any others please feel free to share. 1. The Star Wars Saga began at Episode 4 and began the whole conundrum of how devastating events in the past shaped a new reality for the Jedi. Then more than 2 decades later we got to see the events of the past as Episode 1 was released. Same thing can be said about Kingdom Hearts where there was so much scattered mystery throughout the saga that it made us wonder what could had happened in the past that set the present reality of Kingdom Hearts. Then 8 years from the release of Kingdom Hearts 1 came "Episode 0": Birth By Sleep. Both Star Wars & Kingdom Hearts originally began where they had left off in the past and that the events and information of the past were not revealed until a later time. 2. Light vs. Dark. No explanation needed on this subject since it is obvious.. 3. Both the lightsaber and the keyblade resemble weapons of hope and destruction. According to Ansem Report 8: The Keyblade is said to hold phenomenal power (so does the lightsaber), one legend says its wielder saved the world while another says he wrought chaos and ruin upon it (same can be said with the lightsaber for both Jedi & Sith). 4. Master and Apprenticeship played a role in the past in both Kingdom Hearts and Star Wars. Master Eraqus to Terra, Obi-Wan Kenobi to Anakin Skywalker. 5. Deception and lust for the dark powers played a major role in both stories. First, in Episode 2 and 3, Anakin was not only receiving mentorship from his Master Obi-Wan, but from the Chancellor, whom is the Sith Lord, as well. Anakin had the personality of being protective for the people he most cared about, which is a universal trait of selflessness & compassion for all Jedi. The Sith Lord took advantage of that trait, deceived Anakin into thinking Sith powers can save people from death, and ultimately led him to the dark side and his transformation into Darth Vader. In Birth By Sleep (I haven't played BBS yet so I'm going with what I generally know), Terra received some mentorship from Master Xehanort "Darkness cannot be controlled it can only be channeled." Each world he visited got him closer and closer to being tied to the darkness. When the battle in the Keyblade Graveyard took place, Master Xehanort took advantage of Terra's anger and frustration which led him to use the powers of darkness. Like Anakin, Terra is also protective of the people he most cared about, that being Ven & Aqua. In the end, Master Xehanort subdued Terra which led him to transform into his new being. 6. Xemnas' weaponry resemble a sith's red lightsaber. 7. It hasn't happened yet in Kingdom Hearts but Star Wars had a good conclusive ending to their saga. I'm anticipating the same thing to happen with Kingdom Hearts in the "Xehanort Saga." I'm hoping all goes well in future storylines...
  15. Japan had their fun with Coded. Now it's our turn with Re:Coded. We should get it first before SE releases it in Japan. That would seem fair I don't think Japan cares about fairness lol. BUT WE BETTER GET THAT GAME BEFORE THEM, WE'VE WAITED TOO LONG. AMEN!

  17. It will work with normal DS games, so you could probably exchange an old DS to get some money off this new system. That is of course if you have the normal DS/DSi. I also think it is a riku game. ( I agree, there should be KH for wii. ) Didn't Tetsuya Nomura say that he wants to feature a kingdom hearts game with multiple main characters? I do recall him saying that in an interview in Birth By Sleep Ultimania. I'm guessing Kingdom Hearts 3D is the one he meant.
  18. Here is an official press release on the Square Enix Website regarding the new Kingdom Hearts game exclusively for the 3DS: http://release.square-enix.com/na/2010/06/15_04.html Square Enix declared the 3D Kingdom Hearts game a "new project" and did not specify whether it had any relation to Re:Coded but they did however mention that "Kingdom Hearts 3D" is a tentative title. The press release also states that the screen shots seen on the website (previously posted by Kuroishii on this thread) are "not final" and are still under development. All other details on this game are said to be announced at a later date.
  19. I don't know why others are saying Aqua's voice sounds horrible but I think it sounds feminine and suits her very well.
  20. The trailer says September 10th so this must be the European Trailer. Could another trailer similar to the one posted be presented at sony's keynote address or will this be the universal trailer?
  21. I thought Nomura said that he is "planning to release one this year" which in this case would be Re:Coded. Hopefully we'll be getting a release date on E3. I don't want to be playing the "guess when" game with all of these unconfirmed release dates.
  22. Alright according to Google, Winter season begins on December 21st of this year. If 1up is declaring late fall (although it isn't confirmed) then expect it to be released in the early month of December which is just in time for Christmas. Re:Coded would definitely be on my on the top of my wishlist..
  23. Re:CoM most definitely especially when playing reverse you get different sets of cards for every world you enter making it a bit difficult to use sleights.
  24. As long as you have a couple zero cards and remember your sleight combinations you'll be fine.
