Who knows I actually read the X Blade report, and while this is pretty shaky, it's worth noting that the report is written right when he finds out ABOUT the X Blade, and it's entirely possible he found a more complete understanding of it later on (but still before BBS) Well where the keyblade came from is an unknown obviously, but anybody can hand a keyblade to someone, and they can even hang onto it if they're a wielder Considering the reports about the apprentices were written by Xehanort pretending to be Ansem, I don't think it's that much of a stretch to say he was lying, or at least twisting things a bit. Considering this is the first time we've seen a Nobody reform anyways, there's nothing that says they have to use their original selves' clothes. They all seem to have kept their Org 13 ages, for example Mickey didn't meet Terra, but he knew Yen Sid, and presumably went t the Keyblade Graveyard knowng the score. Why Mickey calls Terra a friend... that's just KH, really. People call each other friends the moment their eyes meet in this franchise. Is there a realm of nothingness? There's a realm between, but that's just a realm between light and dark, you end up in one or the other eventually (hence why Sora and Riku end up in the ROD in KH2)

KH doesn't have all that many big plot holes in terms of retcons, definitely the drastically decreasing value of a keyblade

basically, we really really REEEAAALLY don't know which again, is odd for KH, since by now they've usually said something (also similar to how we don't know for sure about Ven influencing Namine's hair, we don't know for sure Namine is the same as Sora after losing his body, that's just another safe assumption)

Nothing is explicitly stated about Namine it's kinda mind boggling that she was introduced in the second KH game, yet despite all the spin offs explaining all the particulars of things we never asked to know, a lot of basic questions have never been answered about Namine Namine's hair is most popularly theorized to be the result of Ven, but I don't think it;s stated, if it was it's in an interview. But the fact that we're missing details on Namine tells me it's building to something in KH3. It's not like Nomura to not explain something down to the most unnecessarily minute detail in terms of story... I personally never felt that Kairi being a PoH added much of anything to her, but I guess I also kinda assumed that if the plot went this direction it'd end with everybody getting all their bits and pieces put back where they belong, including whatever cocktail of Ventus Sora and Kairi are hanging onto, as well as any remaining bits of Sora or Kairi the other had left over

the hair shows an element of Ventus, but the ratio of Sora is unknown. The darkness needed to cause a Nobody to be possible has to come from somewhere That's a heartless it's because of Namine, she and Roxas were both created from some weird combo of Sora Ventus and Kairi. Then Kairi fused with Namine at the end of KH2, and Namine definitely wasn't a pure Nobody, so elements of at least Ventus are part of Kairi now, but I don't see why a part of Sora wouldn't be in as well

Recent posts got me thinking Kairi is a Princess of Heart, yeah? No darkness in their heart But is that still the case? Of all the Nobodies, really it was only Namine who truly wasn't meant to exist. Kairi, like the other princesses, has no darkness to succumb to. Losing her heart doesn't cause her body to disappear and she can't form a Nobody. But Sora can, and did, and the result was a mish mash of three people split across two. Obviously Namine isn't a "proper" Nobody, she doesn't physically mirror Kairi, but in the end she fused back with Kairi. Doesn't that mean, assuming a part of Sora went to Kairi, or even that Ventus' healing heart gained darkness of its own, and a bit of that went into Kairi? by extension, if that DID happen, is Kairi a Princess of Heart anymore? I could see this becoming a plot point that ultimately steals victory from Xehanort at the very end, when it turns out he only has 6 princesses of heart but who knows not me

well that's the thing, Roxas are two Nobodies containing elements of three people it's a pretty strange scenario, but it's made more complicated by the fact that Namine is a Princess of Heart, which isn't supposed to be able to create a Nobody

In theory, though since she's a special Nobody we don't really know how it applies Namine doesn't seem to ACTUALLY be Kairi's body, but assuming it is, it had a keyblade bequaethed to it so don't see why not it's not her keyblade though, she'd have to pull a Roxas or Data Sora and earn her own

I think Maleficent will continue to be chaotic evil to Xehanort's lawful evil

It strikes me that we've had a couple indications in the games that suggest Xehanort is actively encoraging Disney villains to antagonize Sora and the like, with the most explicit being Ursula a the start of DDD, but also Maeficent's outright admittance in DDD that Xehanort was directing her combine that with Maleficent feeling a shift in the darkness of the KH universe I think we're pretty likely to see an organized group of Disney villains again, which is pretty nice. Makes sense that a lot of worlds aren't returning, since most of their villains are you know dead thoughts? think it's likely? want it? don't want it?

She's THE Disney villain, they can't not use her hopefully they make her more of a threat though she should totally follow through and take over The World That Never Was and create the League of Disney Villains 2.0
