  1. It's one of KH's many problems with words. Xemnas has the power of nothingness, right? Already that sounds pretty dumb, but in the context of Kh nothing = spiky lasers but something I've been noticing replaying KH2FM A lot of that time they say "nothing" not "nothingness" so then it sounds REALLY silly the quote I'm currently hung up on is "Embrace... nothing" did nobody stop to think about how dumb that sounds? It reminds me of this
  2. finally a system that overthrow the previous king of game systems, the PlayStation Vita
  3. I yes you're right I am gathering from every console because every console this gen is weak
  4. Remember that time this topic was called "Remember that time the PS4 got a new game?" Me neither Also it's beginning its third year and there's no improvement in sight should I call up some 2008 games? I can Fallout 3, GTA 4, Star Wars the Force Unleashed, Metal Gear Solid 4, Persona 4, Smash Bros Brawl, Dead Space, Boom Blox, Gears of War 2, Tales of Vesperia, Little Big Planet, Left 4 Dead, DMC 4, Saints Row 2, Fable 2, Dissidia Final Fantasy, Mario Kart Wii, MArio Super Sluggers, Street Fighter IV, Mirror's Edge, Prince of Persia, Mega Man 9, Soul Calibur 4, De Blob, Far Cry 2, Sonic Riders 2 yet again, probably more, getting bored of listing so many games
  5. I'm using the Wii as a grounding point (and 360 by extension) the Wii U came out in 2012 it's 2015 so this gen is three years old also the fact that not all the games were out yet still doesn't mean much. That's one year's worth of games, and we're not exactly rolling in release dates. Things aren't gonna change any time soon
  6. I actually wasn't including Zesteria, I thought it was a new game, thanks for reminding me it's coming to PS3, meaning it's not a selling point for next gen I took the data from 2009, in other words 3 years after the Wii's launch so yes, those are all 2009 PS3 games
  7. a game abandoned by Kojima, a port, another port, a Dynasty Warriors reskin, and a port nice it's not that there are no games, just that a lot of them are 5-20 years old, a lot more don't have a release date, and a lot that HAS come out has been mediocre at best at this point last gen, we got Batman Arkham Asylum, Assassin's Creed and Uncharted 2, Dragon Age Origins, Minecraft, Left 4 Dead 2, Final Fantasy XIII, Brutal Legend, inFAMOUS, Bayonetta, Demon's Souls, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, some SMT game, Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story, Punch Out, and Borderlands probably a lot of other stuff too, since i got bored of reading the list because it was too long the point is, all that was released in a year, and it's roughly on par with the number of games this entire gen has given us and it doesn't include the two-osh years leading up to it
  8. I'd say this more accurately sums it up
  9. we got the announcement that games will one day be made exciting reveals, to be sure, but just that reveals three years into their life, the PS3 and 360 had launched many insanely popular franchises, and the PS2 era was even more prolific this generation is the generation of promises people care more about the hype of a reveal than if the end result is worth your time
  10. not really about ports, it's just that this generation has been moving like a glacier. Everyone expects the first E3 or two around a new console to be a bit slow, but this is ridiculous in terms of big names there's a lot if RPGs coming one day not available now
  11. unlike those PS2 and PS3 era games which they clearly just rushed out, what with all those day one patches they used to have
  12. considering it was in Sora's heart, I imagine he expected Sora
  13. reading this, I checked FF15's loading time episode duscae clocks in at one minute thirty-eight seconds to load after that, there are two opposing factors. Optimization might make the number smaller, on the other hand, the full game will have more content to load, things like character stats and equipment, side quests, and most likely content of higher quality than what was in episode duscae Now episode duscae has hours of content, so a roughly two minute load time for that isn't all that bad But what about KH One, KH games being abridged Disney stories tend to have drastically different, unconnected areas so that they can cover the key moments in the story, so I doubtthe entire world is seemless but also what about the fact that it's split into worlds? Even just fast travelling in Episode Duscae has a decent loading time. What happens when you're hopping to different worlds around the end game? Suddenly a two minute loading screen becomes a lot more intrusive
  14. I'm leaning towards "awful" but it'll probably be pretty bad. the HD remasters were loading PS2 games and they had loading screens up to a minute
  15. that's how game development works. You can't wait until a game is done before doing the next one, or you won't have enough stuff coming out to guarantee a profit
  16. basically the only thing that stops Xemnas from being a more powerful Xehanort is that he doesn't use a keyblade.
  17. Aqua is probably so high level after grinding high level heartless for a decade
  18. well that's the key thing, isn't it? Sora AND Riku. Just one of them, and they wouldn't have won. the trainign was a complete formality. Sora had clothes that unleashed his true potential, and Riku has all his darkness stuff also it;s compelte fanfic to say they "easily" beat Xemnas The boss fight took a good hour, and during the final bit, Xemnas beats the stuffing out of Sora AND Riku. It's only at the last second that Sora is able to team up with a heavily injured Riku to deal the final blow. and just before that Xemnas used that super laser barrage that pushed Sora and Riku to their limits
  19. according to Nomura, Xemnas is the most powerful being in the KH universe Granted, that was before DDD, but it's still mostly up to date
  20. the entire point was to honour Satoru Iwata...
  21. Proceeds to cancer research, so watch without adblock
