  1. it could be worse he could be Tetsuya Nomura
  2. Sora physically couldn't wake, that was a plot point
  3. I feel like it was always an unwritten rule. In BBS the time discrepancies are the most noticeable, but nobody ages properly in the Disney side of things it just wasn't untl DDD that Riku outright stated it or maybe they made a new pod and jsut moved Sora...?
  4. The organization is a confusing mess when it comes to objectives, until you find out Xemnas was trying to screw them the whole time
  5. It's possible it DID take one day... in the Land of Departure Since each world has a different flow of time, it's entirely possible that Days is using The World That Never Was time, and the Land of Departure moves significantly slower.
  6. It seems a mechanic of the KH universe is that people naturally gravitate towards "neutral worlds" That's why Roxas forms in Twilight Town, it's a between world, like The Land of Departure, The World That Never Was, and Traverse Town Why exactly people gravitate towards these places, I couldn't tell you, I'd imagine it's something to do with the "special properties" Eraqus mentions. The easiest guess is that those worlds are just safer for people undergoing trauma Only issue with this diagram is it greatly distorts the length of CoM, which was only about twenty days
  7. yup it's one of those things where the nternet will have you believe nobody likes it, but really FF13 is fairly popular (it got two sequels for a reason. People like to blame Toriyama, but a bsuiness doesn't make sequels unless they'll make money)
  8. I just want to point out that I really like the idea, I like it when I see it on other games, I just REALLY can't see t happening in KH
  9. You know you can get paid to do that, right? a lot of people did, though they probably wouldn't admit it in a post FF13-bashing world
  10. that hardly sound different from what they already say seems incredibly inconsequential
  11. I mean think about it, have you ever seen both of them in the same room? and he's always advertising Toriyama's games just sayin and he likes FF13 just sayin
  12. then it's either not X-3 or Square isn't making a very smart decision regarding the order of their announcements admittedly it could go either way
  13. epic and small character moments don't tend to fit in the same game that's the problem, KH3 is concluding about a dozen character's stories, never mind introducing 13 freaking Xehanorts into the equation the chance to flesh out characters has passed
  14. doubt it, FF7 remake stole whatever thunder a major release like this could have
  15. it'd be weird for KH to make a drastic change like that now of all times. Maybe in the next series
  16. random conversation is character development ever heard of kingdom hearts? a series with next to no character development? every heard of Disney characters, which are established characters Square is literally not allowed to change? sure they could do it with OCs liek Sora Riku or Kairi... but if they wanted to develope those characters they'd have done it by now
  17. none of the characters can be fleshed out though, so it doesn't add much
  18. if you don't like FFX, you should still give toher games a chance, each FF is pretty different
  19. just to add on there's heavy debate over which FF game is the best starting point. FF4, FF6 and FF7 are common picks, as well as FF10 (10-2 is not enjoyed by many people, fair warning) FF4 is a really strong starting point, since it introduces you to most of the core elements of Final Fantasy. You'll see all the classic classes, classic enemies and such, and the plot is a bit simple but overall enjoyable. This is the game you'll see most people recommend. The 3D and 2D versions are drastically different though, with the 3D versions being significantly harder, just so you know FF6 is regarded by many to be one of, if not THE best FF games, but it's also very beginner friendly, since it's not that hard. It has a fantastic story, lots of characters with unique abilities, and plenty of secrets to uncover FF7 people tend to recommend because of its historical significance. This is Square's biggest RPG, the game that brought the JRPG to the mainstream. While t hasn't aged that well, it's still pretty easy to see why people loved it, and I think it has the strongest opening moments of any FF game There are some games I DON'T recommend you play first: FF5 is and advanced game. It's easy to break if you know what you're doing, but as your first FF it'll probably kick your ass. Really great game though, the premiere example of FF's famous job system FF8 takes a lot of grinding and is overall really weird compared to most FF games, definitely not a good starting point FF9 is, as far as many people are concerned, the best Final Fantasy game, with the highest meta critic score in the franchise. It's beginner friendly, has amazing music, characters, story, gameplay, graphics and design. Why not play it first? It's a celebration of all things Final Fantays. I recommend having 2-3 FF games under your belt, so you can appreciate all the homages and in-jokes FF1-3 are NES games, they're curiosities at best, only a good starting point if you're a fan of very old school styled games with lots of grinding and unfairness FF11,12 and 13 all play drastically differently from any other FF, and have different tones as well. Not good starting points if you want to use them as spring boards to play other FF games Personally, I really recommend playing FF4 and FF10 first
  20. I imagine the black hair adn glowing yellow eyes wouldn't tip anybody off
  21. here's the thing guys IGN has to cover any big games that come out but clearly nobody who works for them likes KH they still have to cover it maybe calm down
  22. "*talks about the graphical fidelity of a game*" "NERD!" needless comment "358/2 Days is mostly about eating ice cream" "Grr I'm mad he said something completely accurate about 358/3 Days" "It IS a Final Fantasy game" "It doesn't say Final Fantasy, therefore this game that's basically Final Fantasy isn't Final Fantasy" "How dare this grown many pronounce the numbers the way a human normally would, why didn't he read the interviews that clarify it's pronounced Three Five Eight Days Over Two" You didn't even get it right, you called it Three Five Eight Over Two Days.
  23. they also made the blood look like spit during the cutscene where it fights Hercules
  24. the games barely change with each release, however pokemon was built from the start to be addicting, that's why they have two versions of it each time The games themselves are definitely not poorly made or anything, but I doubt any but the hardest core of fans would say any specific new entry was AMAZING
