  14. I saw this on Tumblr and I think it's the video that needs to be shown to every Bible-banging homophobe protesting gay marriage. It's a beautifully shot short film and I really wish everyone could see this. It still shocks me that people are still bullied and attacked for not being straight. Thankfully I've grown up in a very nice community where no one's ever done this to me, but I think a lot of people grew up in a situation like mine and figure it's no big deal because they don't see any of the bullying firsthand, so they assume it doesn't exist. If y'all haven't watched this yet, I wholeheartedly recommend that you do because it's a great short film and while you'll probably be crying at the end of it, it's really something that needs to be seen.
  15. almost 2000 tumblr followers heck yeah
  16. I probably wouldn't be too upset. I've got a ton of other games I need to catch up on, so it wouldn't be too much of a loss.
  17. tbh deciding i'm amazing and beautiful was the best choice i ever made and this year has been one of the best so far
  18. Again, it doesn't mean it's right. “It’s problematic because the revival of chivalry seems to only consist of baseless acts of kindness that are meant to affirm a woman’s place as less capable and [more] fragile,” Being nice to people is good dude, I don't have an issue with that, but specifically chivalry is a terribly sexist and annoying concept. I don't want to keep going with this, but chivalry is disgusting. Just be polite and kind to everyone regardless of gender, and don't give a crap what you think other people expect of you. It's as easy as just being polite to everyone you meet
  19. thinking of getting a second copy of acnl to start a themed town
  20. Basically what Lea said--you should be polite to everyone, regardless of gender. Treating people different (even if it means you're nicer to them) because they're a different sex is sexist. The code of chivalry should definitely stay dead because it is inherently sexist and degrading even though society tries to make it seem like a good thing, but if you apply the neutral part of it to both genders (holding doors open for people, being polite, etc. regardless of a person's gender) then that's perfectly fine!!
  21. I miss the x D face
  22. "i should sleep" i say as i don't go to sleep
  23. ohh okay, i was mistaken about your reasoning. sorry about that! well, if you're going for something like pharmacy, i'm not sure what your chances of getting it are. as javelin said, they may just put you wherever they feel like they need you. if they'd prefer you to be something different, you don't have a choice. i'd recommend seeing if they could find a way to guarantee your position before officially enlisting.
