Call your internet service provider and see what they can do for you. Changing your IP on your own is difficult and depending on where you are and how you go about it, can be illegal. Also, I highly doubt that you were "just hanging out with friends" and got banned for a year. You either did something you were already warned not to do or simply did something so despicable you were given the one year ban instantly. Not only that, but you not only had your account ban, but your IP banned as well, you really have to screw up to get that to happen. If you really feel that you didn't deserve to be banned, talk to a moderator or whatever for the game you are playing before going to your internet service provider to evade the ban. If the moderator doesn't budge (and they rarely do, so don't get your hopes up) just deal with it. You did something wrong, now suffer the consequences.

Not trying to start a console war here, but PC really is better. For every console exclusive PC players miss out on, console players miss out on like 20 PC exclusives, mainly because developers are sick of using nearly a decade old hardware and want to stay modern and progressive as well as avoid becoming the bitches of Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo. And by the time the next gen consoles are released, they will already be about 2 years outdated, maybe one and a half at best. Also because of the ludicrous price of next gen consoles, people are investing in gaming PCs because for a few extra hundred dollars you can avoid paying an online subscription. So the cost are practically even.

Turtle Beaches are really only good if you play on the Xbox 360 and PC. If you don't have a 360 its best to get a dedicated PC microphone because turtle beaches are prone to breaking and will degrade rapidly in quality. Movie theater. I'd imagine the only reason why you are asking is because the pay is the same. Movie theater may get you free tickets/discounts to movies and will get you a lot more respect from your peers.
