A PC version will probably happen later on (like is happening with the XIII saga). The effort it would take to port to PC is very minor compared with porting to last gen consoles and Vita, due to the very different hardware, so mentioning PC wasn't important.

I campaigned for its localisation too, even though I own no consoles or handhelds (apart from a 3DS). If you start porting to the Vita too, you may as well port to 360/PS3/Wii U too. The reason why they are not doing that is because they want to increase sales of the XB1 and PS4 before the release of FFXV, and if they released it for Vita everyone in Japan would just buy the game for that console.

The only good thing that IGN does. As far as news goes, they either don't report it, or report it days/weeks late...

FFXV has been in full development for two years, while KH3 has only very recently started going into full development. At e3 2013, the trailer was literally* all the team had done on the game. Getting some gameplay at D23 last year was a surprise. With Nomura at the helm again, I expect some news next year.*my use of "literally" isn't the literal meaning of literally.

Nah, gotta buy a PS4 or an Xbox One and/or a new GPU next year.

The NZ 2014 election is over and the results are: -National (center right party) has a clear majority of 61 seats out of 121 (first time a major party has governed without the help of minor parties under the MMP system). National can pass whatever law they want on their own, without the support of minor parties, which means that their more radical policies could more easily be implemented. -Green (left party) support dropped from 14 seats down to 13 seats, and Labour (center left) from 34 to 32... Apparently our country doesn't care about Tertiary education, the environment, or closing the poverty gap much. -The Internet-Mana Party didn't win any seats... So basically our population doesn't care about being spied on, being lied to by our government, and government corruption, and don't want their voices heard on these issues in Parliament. -The Conservatives (far right party) won 4.1% of the party votes, but didn't get into Parliament. At least this is one positive thing to come from the election A National/Conservative government would have been the worst thing imaginable for our country... At the end of the day, this election means very little... Just thought I'd rage a little bit over politics and be boring

I guess it's forgivable since they're only charging US$16 for it. If it was full price or more than $30... I think more people would complain. PC gamers expect some level of quality, but for less than $20 you can't expect a AAA-quality port. Hopefully they at least unlock the framerate, instead of fixing it at 30fps.

A PS3 won't help much for playing FFXV or Type-0... But yeah, a PS3 would be nice to have in general.

This is great. Hopefully this means a March 2016 (or earlier) release for FFXV. Only worrying thing is "Some players will be able to get Episode Duscae for free thanks to a voucher included with Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" Does that mean the demo will cost normally?

I still have a little bit of hope that FFXV will release late 2015 in Japan... Unrealistic, but I've been believing in Versus 13 for years and I will never stop.

Nah. By the sounds of it your friend isn't very trustworthy... but you probably know better. Maybe wait until KH HD 2.5 comes out so he can buy that after he's played KH1 and/or Re:COM. I played KH2 directly after KH1, without played COM, and I followed the story easily. Watching the Days cutscenes probably would ruin some of the magic of KH2.. or bore him to death.

I really don't know what's going on with Square Enix, and what they're going to do. I don't think they should announce any new Final Fantasy games until FFXV releases. They should see what happens with that game before deciding what to do next... I would rather Final Fantasy and SE survive than them try and produce heaps of costly AAA Final Fantasy games and bankrupt themselves.

The Kotaku article goes into how Final Fantasy has led the way for Japanese games. From making 3D games to releasing games in the west, the Final Fantasy series had been a leader for JRPGs and Japanese game Console gaming will survive in the west, but Japanese games hinge very crucially on Japan, and Japan's console market is dying. Oh yes, sorry. I thought I had changed that lol. The Kotaku interview mentioned Tabata but I wrote Sakaguchi for some reason lol.
