I know it might take a very long time, but what if we used our modding skills to “remake” Kingdom Hearts III’s story into the perfect way we wish it could have been?

If Nomura knew what he was doing, he would have streamlined the plot and the dialogue so that things could be more clearer.

No major alterations to the story or dialogue of course, it’s still as corny as ever.

Yeah, but some fans hate seeing Aqua get so easily beaten despite that detail.

There are two things found in a story: the way the story is and the perfect way we wish it could be. There are three major issues (that I had) with how Ventus’ reawakening went in KH III: Vanitas’ lack of reasoning for being there, how Aqua was easily defeated and realistically, Ventus should not have fully replenished his strength that quickly, he should have trouble getting up from that throne. How would you rewrite it?

It’s not like they were uber violent or anything. It just feels odd to me.

Recently, I have come across John Barry’s slow, graceful music of ”Somewhere in Time” as well as the music of Tejano superstar Selena Quintanilla-Perez. Her song Dreaming of You reminded me of the game’s dream themes and I thought it reflected with how Riku and Kairi coped with Sora’s disappearance. After hearing about the movie and the books, I think Artemis Fowl would make a great foe to Sora. Wouldn’t you agree? I mean, I could see Artemis verbally abusing Sora for how stupid he is compared to Artemis’ own intelligence. What do you think his scheme would be?

Me too, the Disney worlds have outlived their purpose.

I think Kairi’s death should have been more heroic, like Master Xehanort tries once and for all to make Sora his last vessel, but Kairi jumps into the fray and destroys it. Enraged, MX duels Kairi and then he kills her. How would you do it differently?

I don’t know about you, but I am starting to become one of those fans who feel that the Disney worlds are starting to become meaningless, especially in III. If Kingdom Hearts IV starts to venture off into darker and more mature territory, let alone boosting the game rating up to “T”, they should go with Marvel and Star Wars and leave the animated classics altogether.

What about the sound files? Anyone looked into those?

May I assume that the reason why Master Xehanort didn’t fully appear until the Keyblade Graveyard had something to do with his seiyu’s/voice actor’s recent passing? Because I had so hoped that he would have a full and decent amount of screentime in this game and yet, it’s another disappointment to be added to the list.

Well, if she has a (somewhat) bigger role in the next game...It ought to be Olivia d’Abo voicing her.

Personally, I don’t care who’s going to be voicing Minnie since she didn’t get a decent amount of screen time in KH III. As a matter of fact, I think I’m starting to become one of those fans who cares more for the main story rather than the Disney Worlds.
