  1. "Noted." That was the only word Veran replied before sprinting into the forest after Wulfric into the lush forest. Trees and roots camouflaged with the terrain, almost threatening to pull the pair off their feet, yet the butler not only avoided them, he did so with a certain grace in his movements. Yet the moon itself offered illumination where it could, marks on the ground visible from previously fought battles and paths trod during the chaos. A sharp wind was left in the path he traveled, Veran continuing to follow their guide at a devilishly brisk pace while gripping his master comfortably, keeping her safe from any debris. He amused himself with the thought that from another person's perspective, they might have a good team, yet he dismissed the idea just as easily, finding it incredulous for the two of them to be compared.
  2. Placing them in the inner pockets of his dark coat, Snake nodded before landing on the ground, looking around. Flicking her tongue out, Emily collected the odors in the air, trying to identity any potential threats before they set off to an alley, on their way back to the circus. Shyly, Snake's eyes darted back from himself to Raven, wondering if he should offer his arm as support.
  3. Veran couldn't help but smile softly at Aya's words. Not only did she blatantly refuse the wolf's offer, she preferred her loyal servant to such a beast. Brushing her hair gently, he slid his arms around her back and legs, supporting Aya while lifting her soft body close to his chest. His eyes held a warm, loving gaze, knowing she would definitely appreciate his warmth as he secured his grip, keeping her safe, yet comfortable. Turning his attention to Wulfric, Veran held a light, mocking smile. "Don't underestimate me, I'm quite the fast runner myself."
  4. The snakes slithered rather quickly on the floor, a few of them rushing to pin down their target while the others returned to Snake. The scene that played out before him made his eyes widen in shock, however. He had never seen such a side from her before despite being knowing her for a long time. As Raven rose from the gruesome scene, bleeding from her own wound, he couldn't help but reach out to her. "A-Are you okay, Raven...?" He barely got the words out, a mix of fear and concern in his soft voice. His legs felt stiff, threatening to glue him to where he stood, yet he managed to push himself forward until he was in front of her. "You're hurt, we should try to head back to the doctor soon... I'm sorry for not being of assistance to you sooner." He gazed into her eyes for a while before averting his own, unsure of what to say next. Sensing the tension, Wordsworth offered some words as his slender, emerald body intertwined around Snake's neck. "Let's burn the body in the fire and then take back the files... says Wordsworth." Snake muttered, letting his friend do the talking, "How are we going to head back though?"
  5. Not as curious as to what happens to Hinami.
  6. A cool guy like me, interested in an SE RP? Please. AlrightI'mintoo.
  7. A cool breeze blew across Snake's face as he widened his eyes. Staying true to Raven's request, his friends did their best to cling onto him, a feeling of nausea washing over the small group. "This is quite the experience! I feel like I'm going to be sick... says Goethe." Tightening his grip around her without being too rough, Snake couldn't help but feel glad, averting his eyes from staring below while they soared through the night sky. It was his first time being this close to another person and his face showed it with a light blush.
  8. Inside the navy blue tent stood Snake, prepared for their performance. His underweight, pale frame was visible due to his decision to forgo a shirt, his ribs and collar bones clearly outlined. For his pants, he doned tights that were tinted dark gold, bearing scale designs that matched those on his skin. Averting his eyes from Raven who had entered the room, he was rather self-conscious of his appearance. "Oscar and Wordsworth have gone on ahead to the seats to recon. They'll be ready for our target... says Wilde."
  9. Deal. Such a word evoked a snicker out of Veran who was accustomed to all sorts of contracts. Taking pleasure in his master's compliment, he returned the soft smile. "Then are you alright with splitting up for the time being? Earl Pandora can search for the hunter while m'lady and I will follow the heiress's scent." Shifting his eyes to Wulfric, his expression reverted to one of animosity. "Shall we begin the hunt? I assume you're the most familiar with the forest."
  10. Glaring down at the werewolf who had dared lay his lips on Aya's skin, Veran narrowed his eyes. Ever so slightly did his gloved, slender fingers curl, a hint of jealousy enveloping his proud stature. No matter what his master desired, he could fulfill them in a heartbeat, yet she looked on at the man with captivated eyes, his face bearing elegant features despite his rugged and tense body. To simply see her in such a state elicited a cold, visible breath of air as he sighed into the night. "I would, but I'd hate to stain my clothes with the blood of such pitiful creatures." Veran replied condescendingly to the man's relief of nonviolence, his eyebrows furrowing at Wulfric who still panted for air. "To prevent any more deaths, we'll lend you a hand in finding the chief's daughter. Just remember your place," He muttered the last part under his breath, "mongrel."
  11. Taking his queue, Veran dashed swiftly through the rotting leaves and dirt, running straight at his target. A sharp wind blew against the pelts of the Bakanekos as they began to retreat with haste from the incoming demon.
  12. Nodding silently, the aroma of the sandwich filled Ran's senses as he hastily took a large bite. Delectable. The thin slices of cured prosciutto blended quite wonderfully with the robust, aged cheese and vegetables, the 9-grain honey oat bread serving as an appealing canopy to the insides. Drooling quite a bit, he couldn't help but smile. He enjoyed the delicacy that was placed into food, and to lose one's taste would be a true tragedy. Taking a sip out of the mocha latte, it was held in high standards, a dark chocolate bitterness that blended well with the previous salty flavor of his meal. "Thank you very much, I can't wait to taste it." Ran replied, wiping his mouth with a napkin which bore the cafe's logo. "Nice catch, how long have you two known each other?" Shadows formed in the corners of Hayato's mouth as he grimaced upon hearing the news, or lack thereof, concerning the charming, unkempt woman known as Eto. Just as easily as he was dejected however, his pale, clear eyes suddenly lit up at the prospect of a rescue mission against the CCG. "A chance to slaughter those dogs..." His mind was filled to the brink, calculating his options, forming a rather frightful expression on his face. If a high ranked investigator was part of the escorting, they could be interrogated for further information. Human bodies would only endure so much, a lesson he knew personally. "You can sign me up, it sounds lovely. I'm glad to see that their parents haven't failed in raising those dear, lost ones."
  13. With his tall, tireless figure casting a silhouette across the room, Veran's eyes turned demonic for a brief moment as he stared through the window. The luminescence radiated off the fur of the creatures, the single werewolf attempting to fend for himself against the swarm of Bakanekos with disregard to their surroundings. Gripping the dusty windowsill with his gloved hand, the scene was simply child's play for him, rabid beasts clawing in attempt for survival. "You only need to give the order." He replied darkly, ready to eliminate the threat at any moment. "If you'd like, we could simply walk around them, finding the source of the creatures."
  14. As Veran took the key, he thanked the old woman before finding himself pulled aside by Aya. "Oh, don't worry, I intend to make sure he doesn't have his way." Veran answered with a serious expression. Leading them to their room on the second floor, he slid the key into the lock before opening the door slowly.
  15. "With the two of us together, it'll be easy. Says Goethe." Snake replied, pulling his friend back to his arm. As Emily chided Goethe for his childish behavior, the young man began to remove his high-collared jacket, preparing for the performance. "We'll have to be careful not to draw attention to us, but it'll be alright. Says Emily."
  16. totally wasnt thinking of this status the other day or anything, b-baka
  17. "Yes, my lady." Veran muttered in reply, slipping out of the building and taking a seat on the carriage. Picking up the reins, he gave the horses some slack and began to lead them towards a stable behind the building, taking in his surroundings. Reaching the stalls, he tied the horses to them and removed their tack before returning to where Alexander waited. "Now, I believe we should book a place for our masters to stay in." He informed the fellow servant, leading him to a nearby hotel. Pushing the door open, Veran smiled at the clerk. "We'd like to book a room, please."
  18. Look, Emiya-kun. People normally don't say baka when they post.
  19. Pokemon is forever Merc It's not like I bought the game last month or anything
  20. I have every single legendary at the moment, now to start catching and breeding.
  21. I'm trying to make a living dex in Omega Ruby right now. Your avy is amazing.
  22. "We'll keep it in mind, thank you for the warning." Veran replied with a smile, already thinking about how they would apprehend whatever was in the forest. No simple beast would be able to stand up to a demon unless it was something more sinister.
  23. Veran himself wore a dark brown trench coat with a black button-up shirt without a tie, letting his hair become slightly messy. Standing behind Aya as the mayor began to talk about the cases, he couldn't help but feel irked at how enthusiastic Samael was to be her fiancee. Aya belonged to no one else but him."Really? What kind of strange things do you mean?" Veran inquired with curious eyes, holding back his annoyance.
