  1. Julie looks so under dressed next to Batman
  2. Well, if it was a ballet game that didn't take itself seriously then maybe it would be alright...
  3. YOU WILL NEVER TAKE MY CAKE!
  4. Axel, what are you doing in my semantics textbook? http://www.imgur.com/gallery/zFRML1s
  5. But what if plants are sentient? We do know they use chemicals to pass along messages among themselves. What if this is an intelligent language we aren't able to engage in because of our different means of communication? We could be committing murder no matter what we eat.
  6. I haven't played any Persona games but I really do want to get into them. The only problem is, like you said, the length of them. I don't have a lot of time for video games right now so I'll have to binge game for a week and try to beat them during winter break or something.
  7. I know what you mean. I'm getting really irritated with how much books revolve more around romantic relationships than what's going on in the universe. It seems like every YA does it and adult books feel the need to include sex scenes like it can't be an adult book without it. It's really hard for me to find a good book that realizes that there is more to life than making relationships. Edit: And if it interests you, I'm reading the Ender Game series and they are very good. Very intelligently written with many complex characters.
  8. All the interesting things happen when I'm sleeping now.
  9. Oh, I would never say that But Japanese will make that excuse for you in many cases to save your face. And even Japanese mess up when speaking keigo too. And then you get into baito keigo and it's all a mess...
  10. I'm glad I'm not the only one. Yeah, business Japanese is a beast of its own. Though, once you get the basics of it, even if you make mistakes every now and then you can use the gaijin card to get by.
  11. Maybe it was only NA that got region blocked?
  12. When I imported the Final Mixes from Japan, I also got Swap Magic to fool my PS2 to play different region games. But I will never forget how terrified I was when I had to open my PS2 to install one of the pieces.
  13. I hate how school fixed my sleeping schedule. I used to be able to stay up to 4AM no problem. Now I can barely keep my eyes open after 11PM. Stupid school!
  14. I'm so mad right now. My dad came in saying my nephew left the house door open and my sister just sits on her butt not checking if the cats are in the house. I search the house and when I don't find one of them THEN she takes it seriously. We found her in the garage, so she was out but not outside luckily.
  15. I'm not a fan of it myself, but I have a friend who loves it.
  16. I like guys who are quieter (I have a mother who likes to listen to herself talk and it has become my biggest pet peeve). Similar interests would be nice, but if they have different interests maybe they'll become mine after trying them. I like guys whooooo, ummmmm, actually guys who are nice but aren't trying to be gentleman. Like they don't insist on always opening the door for me, always paying the check, that sort of stuff. I can do things myself This is hard to find, but I like a guy who doesn't take sex as a necessary part of a relationship. That's not for me. And I like a guy who has some independence. That I'll always be there for them but they can also do their own thing too. I don't like being a crutch they need to walk through life. I'd rather be a pain killer that can ease the pain and will always be on the shelf when they need it again.
  17. Why does this make me picture a giraffe that's vibrating from too much caffeine?
  18. "We call that person who has lost his father, an orphan; and a widower that man who has lost his wife. But that man who has known the immense unhappiness of losing a friend, by what name do we call him? Here every language is silent and holds its peace in impotence." --Joseph Roux
  19. That's also a big motivator for me. I want a computer that can handle Maya well so I can do 3D modeling again.
  20. I'm getting a gaming PC tomorrow. It's going to be so sweet!
  21. Finish all the guilt targets by September 4th (Japan time)
