Death Note: The Second Investigation (sign ups)
(It's like how good are you at something. So say my character is REALLY smart. He would have an 8/10 score for intelligence. Initiative is like how much you believe in the cause. DOB is date of birth.)

Death Note: The Second Investigation (sign ups)
The year is 2015. After Near defeated Light and the fake Kira, the world calmed down considerably. That is...until deaths started again. Near, now 23 years old, is back to the action, but finds the original investigation team won't return. He sends a message to countries all over the world to come to Japan and find him, asking for help. You are either with Near or with Kira as the second fight begins. Who will win? Rules: This is Death Note. There will be a lot of deaths. Please be prepared to kill off your character(s), but no killing without permission. If Kira wants to kill someone IT HAS TO WORK. You can't figure out the names without shinigami eyes or figuring it out with intelligence etc. Although you basically have to godmod as Kira, there are still rules. Follow them. Keep it pg-13. No bad cursing. Normal rules. Note: There can be as many Kiras or Ls you want, but Near is the original L in this story and the first kira is the first to claim it. sign up sheet: Name: Gender: Height: Weight: Personality: Side: DOB (Age): Occupation: Bio: Stats (intelligence, creativity, initiative, emotional strength, social skills (out of ten): (If you need me to explain, ask.)

Do you want Saix/Isa to be saved?
No, I think it would make it more tragic and keep putting into perspective for Lea what his mistakes cost him (such as when he lost Roxas).

Hibiki turned. Crap, it was her. He sweeped his long, messy hair out of his face in a lame way. "Um, hey Nagi." He turned back, looking at the view again to hide his awkwardness. "I expected you to be done quickly, but not this quickly. It seems I have a rival in you. Good. It was getting boring as heck here."

Hibiki looked up at Nagi. "Hey. Just finished my paper. I'm guessing Chie-sensei gave you the topic, right?" He must have sounded like an idiot, of course she did. He stood up, and stretched. "I'm wandering the school if you don't mind." He grinned. "Join me when you finish." He passed her and walked out to the hallway, looking up and down. Good, empty. He walked down to the balcony where the art club sometimes paineted, and looked out at the view. Breathtaking. His hair blew in the wind and for once, he smiled as he thought of his sister. He frowned as his sister's face morphed into Nagi's. What?

I think I'm going to try a new drawing style.
That's always fun, although I suck at every style.

Akademi Deizu (Academy Days, Roleplay)
(Hibiki will probably just hide in the library for clubs. But probably Newspaper or Tennis.) Hibiki spun in his chair in the computer lab. Alone. Just how he liked it. Although he saw Chie-sensei talking to Nagi. She'd probably be in here soon. What was she, tsundere or something? He banged his head on the desk. It was probably just Nagi. Awkward. He looked up as the door opened, but it was just Airi Setsuna, a girl he used to like. Really smart too. "You in here for Chie-sensei, Airi-san?" Airi shook her head. "I'm here for a stapler." And she was gone. Hibiki finished his conclusion paragraph of his paper and emailed it to Chie-sensei. He got the grade now, but what did he do for the rest of class?

Will I get in trouble with animal rights people if I gene splice one of those furless cats to mak...
Assuming this genetic engineering even works and it doesn't die, it probably would soon anyways due to the immense amount of radiation.

Cats don't naturally have bioluminescence, so you have to do it artificially.

Er, yeah, I say you would. You would do it by either a. ionizing radiation or b. emitting light without heat, done by a chemical reaction. All dangerous.

Hibiki just laughed, and grabbed his pack. "Is it alright if I call you just Nagi? The honorifics are just such a chore to memorize." He stood up before turning around and grinning. "See ya." He turned his back to her. Why had he sounded so sincere? He walked quickly and passed Ryu-san. "Grammar's easy, don't worry about it." He arrived first and chose a seat in the front again. He was about to put his stuff down when Chie-sensei looked at him. "No, no, Hibiki-kun, I have a different, harder assignment for you. Go to the computer lab down the hallway and write a paper on this topic." She handed him a sheet as he picked his stuff up again. "I think it's empty, although a couple more students who make good grades will join you." Probably Nagi, he thought.

Hibiki hadn't even taken out his notebook. He had already read most of the material months ago and reviewed constantly. How he wasn't promoted to a higher grade, he wasnt sure. Oh, yeah, he didn't want to. He sighed, gazing wistfully at his beat-up watch. About seven minutes of class left. He racked his brain. What was the next class? Oh, yeah. Grammar. With Chie-sensei. He groaned. Although Chie-sensei liked him (He was perfect after all. The worst grade he ever got was a 96) MAN, was she mean. He turned to Nagi-san and grinned. "So, how's the school so far?" (If you didn't get it before now, Hibiki has gone to the school his whole time, he's not a new student. Is that okay?)

What video game would you like to see as a live action film?
Portal 2 and/or Final Fantasy VII.

Time To Leave + Some Truths
You know we haven't seen each other in person and we never will, right? Now this is a rhetorical question and 'Tom' won't respond, but seriously, come on. This is supposed to be a fun site where we support each other, and although I've made some stupid mistakes in the past, this bullshit on both sides has to stop. Some mean things were said. GET OVER IT. MOVE ON. Keeping on complaining about it is just contributing to the so-called 'chaos'.

Is it just me, or is Final Fantasy IX greatly underrated?
Sorry, but I still like VII and VIII better. I find anti-heroes to be cooler heroes, and while technically Zidane is an anti-hero, I just see Cloud's and Squall's evolution as characters just as good, if not better. I think while Garnet is a strong character, she got that heavily from Aerith, Terra, Tifa and Quistis. And even further back, Faris. It's not like she's the first. Plus, I think Sephiroth's a cooler villain and has a much better reason for being that way. I also found the optional, cool stuff as well as the music to be a bit better in VII and VIII. While IX was a great game I think VII and VIII were a tough act to follow and IX didn't accomplish it.

Akademi Deizu (Academy Days, Roleplay)
Sora-sensei stopped at Hibiki's desk. "And I already KNOW you, Hibiki-kun. We still haven't fixed the toilets in the teacher's bathroom." Hibiki scratched his head bashfully. "Yeah, I'm Hibiki, newcomers, the genius that none of you will beat." He got a smack from Sora-sensei. "Remember, your detentions this week will be served with me and Nui-sensei with me and Lea-sensei on the last day. Don't be late." She moved on to student.

Hibiki walked up to the desk. "Sora-sensei, I have the extra credit project for you." She looked up, surprised, and smiled warmly. "You always do, Hibiki-kun. Put it on my desk, I have to begin class." Hibiki , and looked for a seat, then grinned wickedly when he saw one near to Nagi-san. He put his stuff down in the desk in front of her, which was the front row.

The bell rang just as Hibiki was about to respond. "Um, I guess it's class time." He then noticed the book she was reading. "Oh. That's a good book. I've read it three times." He laughed awkwardly, then gestured to the door. "Shall we go, miss-I'll-get-your-name-later?"

Hibiki walked back into the hallway, making sure to avoid Nagi-san. He took out the extra credit he did over the summer to start the school year off with a great grade. One thing was for sure, Nagi-san was not beating him in academics. Maybe then she would date him. Hibiki stopped. Wait, what? He hook his head and saw a girl reading a book (Ryu). He shrugged and walked up next to her. "Waiting for class to start?"
