  1. Sorry for making my last couple of posts shorter. The next one should be longer unless some does something to delay it I'll have another out in a few days.
  2. ~Aqua: The City of Isolation~ Aqua agreed with the plan and began to contrate on her magic. She slowly eased her mind to an almost zen-like state. First and foremost she would need to decide what element she should use. Aqua quickly decided that wind and ice elements would be the easiest to use and take the least magic from her. Before she could get to using her magic, however, she heard Bherna and frowned. “Don’t listen to her. She has her Father’s recklessness. You’ve seen my shield spells. I’ll be fine.” She reminded him. Then added on quickly “Keep yourself safe first and foremost, that’s what I’m most worried about.” She regarded the situation with the human king. “It seems like you have fewer fans than me.” She gave a bitter laugh.
  3. ~ Aqua: You know where, DETERMNATION~ Aqua remained silent and eerily calm as the blast went toward her. Time had slowed down in her mind as she went over her options. Before she could implement any of them, however, a shield had been placed in the path of the blast. She then heard insults thrown her way. Aqua felt frustrated by the others lack of faith in her, well all except for one. “Thank you for believing in me, Yev. I plan on fighting. I’d rather avoid death if possible.” She explained then took a deep breath to keep herself calm. “Anyone have a plan? I’d rather not mindlessly attack.” Aqua would need to conserve her magic and use it carefully if she wanted to make her magic useful.
  4. ~ Aqua: The City of Isolation~ The female elf kept quiet. Her mind was going into to overdrive with everything that had happened around her. It wasn’t as if she was scared to fight she wasn't. It was that even in this dire of a situation she still hated the thought of a fight. Even more than that she was tired of this fruitless struggle to change the world. Aqua was disgusted. Her mind couldn't cope. How could the others around her be provoked into killing another person with just a few words? “Do none of you have no value over life?! There’s nothing that’s worth more than life itself!" Her conviction to keep everyone alive only grew stronger. "We aren’t fighting to kill them we're trying to save them, anyone with anything else in mind is grossly misjudging the situation! We don’t know who or what, is corrupting what or who, so we can’t think about killing until we know that, even then killing needs to be the absolute last resort.” She took a few deep, ragged breaths. There had to be some way to end this without anyone being killed. “There has to be a way to unfuse them. Maybe a way to weaken or break the connection with the Source?” Somehow there had to be a way to return to normal. She wouldn’t even wish being forcefully combined into another being onto her worst enemy. She slight shuttered at the thought.
  5. ~ Aqua: The City of Isolation~ Aqua looked devastated, yet it didn’t seem as Aqua would have the time to lament Yev’s words. It seemed that yet again a new turn of events would play out. Aqua watched as Yev ran out of her reach once again. She frowned, annoyed. Aqua wasn’t going to sit around and watch others die anymore. She was frustrated by her lackluster ability to stop the cycle of pain and death before her. The female elf was disgusted at herself for not doing more to stop it. She just watched from the sidelines. She couldn’t sit and watch as others fought for her, refusing to fight would mean a high chance of her death without her magic to aid her. She looked to her empty hands. She'd have to try her magic without her staff to help her.
  6. I mostly come to check the news on KH, but I do roleplay on here and I do the polls as well.
  7. Guys, I should be posting in a day or so (maybe today). ~ Adding this here I talked to Mystics using the PMs and we agreed to an idea I had with Aqua's magic. It would go 1-6. I'll explain what each number means if you want any changes or have replacement ideas I'd be happy to see it. 1-Failure to use her magic. A second dice roll to determine if she gets hurt from her failure. 1-3 is yes. 4-6 is no. If yes I'll roll another dice to determine how much. I will make sure it doesn't affect any other character. 2. A weak attack that doesn't do much damage. 3. A stronger attack, but Aqua can only partly control it. 4. A strong attack, but it takes a higher amount of magic and Aqua can't use magic for a post. 5. A successful attack. 6. A mega powerful successful attack, but Aqua has drained most her magic. She also most likely faints. I decided that I should post this here.
  8. ~Aqua: The City of Isolation and Aqua's Suffering~ Aqua had been pulled away from the fighting by Yev. The action had left the elf shocked. The thought that Yev cared about her caused her to smiled ever so faintly. It was touching to see that, but at the moment, she was more worried about Yev. Before she could voice this, however, he had already gone back into the battle. Aqua still felt his lingering touch on her cheek. She sat her stunned, a light blush on her cheeks. “Yev…” She whispered so quietly even she wasn't sure if she had said it out loud or not. Aqua watched him fight with attentiveness, but then Yev had got hit by a rather deadly blow. The thought that Yev could die terrified her. Aqua was frozen in fear, even as she watched him heal himself. She saw as Yev got up in a very shaky manner. He was still injured. Jynn and Bherna then did something unexpected. They offered Yev a chance to make up for his mistakes, but others didn't share the same sentiments. She saw Eclarie point her weapon toward the male elf. Aqua ran toward Yev. “You idiot, work towards a true peace! Don’t die here! Isn’t there something worth living for or even someone?! If you die here you’ll really become the traitor they say you are! You would have killed others for nothing!” Tears had made there way down her cheeks by the time she had gotten close to Yev. “Please just give up this plan! I can’t watch you die…” Aqua’s voice quieted down to barely a whisper “I can’t lose you too…” She looked directly at Yev's eyes, the desperation was written all over her face and in her voice.
  9. ~Aqua: Ya know where: emotionally drained~ Aqua covered her ears. Mariel’s scream had given her a headache and caused Aqua's ears to ring. The young elf quickly shook her head trying to clear away the ringing sound. She then looked at Yev. “I’m not against you. I just wanted answers, that’s all.” Her anger and rage had already dissipated. She was left feeling empty. A sad sigh parted her lips as she walked toward Yev. “So, just be honest with me please and tell me what you are planning?” She pleaded with him. More than anything the elven girl just wanted the fighting to stop. (Sorry for the shorter post)
  10. ~ Aqua: Being saltly in Isopolis, The city of Aqua's rage and saltshakers~ Aqua entered on the other side of the gate only to find herself in an empty and crumbling city of some kind. She had watched as Yevgeni had taken the orb and as many had attacked him or tried too. “Enough of this nonsense! Enough! Jynn you are the only traitor here! You were gone when your kingdom needed you most! A king wouldn’t abandon its people, but you did! A king doesn’t do that.” Aqua was seething with rage. She didn’t want to see Yevgeni of all fye be stopped by a group of self-righteous fools that couldn’t see the greater scope of reality. “Such a grand and wise king, eh? Running from his people and leaving them in the hands of someone they consider and a traitor. Well, its just the same to you, right Jynn? Anything to be rid of your own guilt and folly.” Aqua hadn’t held back or minced any words. Normally she wouldn’t have spoken so bluntly or forthrightly, but with nothing to lose, she was letting her words carry her forth. “Or is it that you came here with some foolhardy plan to bring the land below and the humans that died when it was destroyed back? Well, what are your plans to alleviate all of the problems that would cause? Does anyone have any for that? If not you might as well give up on that foolish idea and let someone that does have a plan use the relic.” Even if she angered someone and they attacked her she wouldn't mind, she would rather die then live with speaking her mind.
  11. ~ Aqua, The Holy Shrine in Isopols: The FINAL test ~ Aqua followed the group inside only find the room on the other side to be a crystalline craven. A dragon emerged from a crystalline cocoon. It was a rather fierce and yet beautiful creature at the same time. She watched as the dragon began to attack the group. Aqua choose to not to fight, but rather to watch what happened. She could always step in if she was really needed. Eventually, the fight ended and she watched as the dragon was felled by the other members of the group. She closed her eyes once she saw someone walk toward the beast with a weapon in hand, she had heard the others speaking of a gem inside the dead creature. Aqua wasn't found of gore. As Aqua slightly leaned back as she waited for the deed to be done, however, she found that the wall was gone. She nearly lost her balance but caught herself at the last second. Her eyes fluttered open from shock. She was in a white room and what she saw before herself was her very own doppelganger. She looked around in confusion. She then saw the words written in elvish on the wall. "To lose is to gain thyself." She very loosely translated as she looked at her mirror image. "We need to brush up on our elvish." The mirror image joked in a very dry manner. Aqua chuckled at that. "Go ahead and explain the test this time." The mirror Aqua explained it. "To give up what I hold most dear." She eyed her staff know what she would need to give up. "My staff, a family heirloom past down from my grandmother to my mother to me. The last thing I have from my parents." She explained as the other version of her reached out its hand wordlessly. She handed the staff over and watched as the other Aqua dissipated. Behind her was a gate that opened the moment the other Aqua was gone from view. Aqua walked toward the opened gate. (Aqua has lost control of her magic, the extent will depend on what I think works best. Due to how much Aqua relies on the staff for her emotional support her emotions will be harder for her to control as well.)
  12. Sorry guys, I've been preoccupied lately. I've been reading the posts, but as for as writing the post well I just could make Aqua do anything because, well Aqua's true motives don't align with the groups and well, I guess I might agree that some of the things the dragon said were true. My next post today (my time) should be interesting.
  13. Okay, so Aqua can't fight. She uses the elements around her to fight, there are none for her to use.
  14. Can't I see the picture? I don't know if it's on my end or the link is broken, but I can't see it.
  15. ~Aqua: You Know where, Mind Trial~ Aqua blinked. “It’s Aqua-” She had started to remind him only to be cut off by him and then he had run off! “Rude!” She cried out as she ran after him. Rufus was going to get such the stern lecture once she caught up to him. She followed him as closely as she could up the stairs (formerly metal boxes) and to the other side where the path split. She watched Rufus as he went down the left path and then she followed after him. Mere moments after she got on the path, darkness eclipsed her view. She closed her eyes tightly not from fear, although there was some, but from the sudden shift from light to pure darkness. On reflex, she opened her eyes at the feeling of warm sunlight and a faint breeze. She looked around in awe and shock because she recognized the forest; it had path lead her to her childhood home. She remembered both fond and not so fond memories of the path playing, getting lost, picking berries, she was overcome with memories. She shook her head clear and forced herself to walk down the path. It was a question as to how she got there. She was confused, but for now, she needed to keep on the path. She soon arrived at another very familiar place. A place she hadn’t seen since her childhood in her village. Her body stiffened slightly from fear because she hadn’t expected to see her village ever again. A tired sigh escaped her mouth so this was the game, a mind trial. The startling lack of anyone being in the usually lively village was proof enough. She took a deep breath and walked inside the village proper. It was an odd feeling the hungover the village. The place had a grim air about it and a desolate feel. She could see that everything was exactly how she remembered it, at least at a glance. She could see all the vendor's stalls, the school, the clinic and even the homes were in perfect condition. She walked around the whole village until she arrived at her former home. Of course, she knew she had to go to her childhood house, it was where her demons lived, after all, her parents. She pushed open the door and for a brief second, she let herself hope no one would be there, but such luck. Her parents stood just past the doorway. Her mother stood impassively, her eyes trained onto Aqua. Her father, on the other hand, stared into Aqua’s soul, or at least it felt that way to her. She flinched on instinct and felt her heartbeat quicken at a rapid pace. They advanced on her quickly, as if they could feel her fear. She should have run but found she was frozen in fear. She jerked out her fear-induced stupor by the eerie laughter of her parents. Two pairs of hands began to wrap themselves around her neck. Her parents had become blurry, black shapes, almost like shadows on a brick wall. She couldn’t tell if her eyes were watering or if the lack of oxygen going to her brain had caused it. It only served to make an already terrifying situation more terrifying. She nearly fainted right then and there, but the sound of something as it hit the ground brought her back to her reality. She mustered all the strength in her body and shoved them off her. They both flew back a few feet and landed on their bums. She took three deep breaths before she reached down and grabbed her most prized possession, her staff. Once it was at home in her right hand, she glared toward the shadows of her ‘parents’. The two got up but made no move to speak nor do anything else. It appeared to be her move in the game of choice. She smirked slightly. “I should thank you for confirming something for me, my resolve! I have to live my life and not be ashamed of who or what I am.” She couldn’t tell the shadows expressions, but somehow she knew they must be proud of her. Then everything was covered in a bright light and its intensity caused her to close her eyes. When she opened them she stood in front of the door. She looked around to see she was in a white void nothing to be seen aside from the door. With a renewed resolve to make her journey through the rest of the shrine, she pushed the door open. She was back in the hallway from before. Well, that was anticlimactic, but beggars couldn’t be choosers. She began to make her way forward again and soon found herself with the group again. “Well, it seems as if we’ve all been gathered here and, somehow no one died. Pat on the back for everyone.” It was only half a joke.
