  2. I've never been in a relationship, so I have no idea why people think I'm great with relationship advice.
  3. Hey guys! I've been wanting to do a bit of a KH13 discussion thread recently, so here I am, wanting to talk about nostalgia. What makes you nostalgic, what are you nostalgic about that may not be as good as you remember, really anything. So, here's some music to set the mood, and lets get some discussion going! There's a lot I'm nostalgic about. Random things, really. I have a lot of random memories brought back anytime I listen to this song- and not even about this game. It's random things like, how I used to watch Dexters Lab in my dad's room while playing with MS Paint on the computer, or playing Sonic 3k. How I would come home from school and drink some juice, and go play ball with my late pet dog Ani (short for Animal.) We have this huge ditch behind our house that there wasn't a fence blocking, so one day when we threw the ball, it went a bit too far and we had to go find it, but we found this boomerang instead. We tried so hard, but we were never able to figure out how to get it to work! Related to this theme, though. This is what got me initially interested in the Sonic comics- because this song would play in the Extra's menu, where they had a bunch of the old Sonic Comic covers, and the first three comics were readable. I remember looking at the covers of the comics and wondering what happened to Sonic, why was he in space? Why is Sally crying? Is that Sonic's gravestone? I spent hours on this screen reading and looking at all the details of these Sonic comics, wanting so much to read them. A few other things I remember as I kid, my mom would take us kids to this fast food place and we'd bring back bags and bags of those ball bit balls, because we were thieves lol. Tiny tiny thieves. I remember staying up late to finish Kingdom Hearts because, we were always so dang close! My brothers and I shared a room, and would stay up wayy past out bedtime to finish the first KH game, but never did. A few years later, we got KH2 and we were able to beat that pretty easy. We went back to the first KH and finally finished off that rotten Ansem for good! I didn't get to play CoM for years after, but thankfully I had the CoM Manga to fill me in on the story. Well, I guess I've done enough rambling for now. What random memories or feelings of nostalgia do you wanna share? Feel free!

  5. I've made mistakes. You've made mistakes. We all have. The mistakes don't define you- how you responded to them does.
  6. ~Desi~ Snorting a bit of laughter from Mary Louie's joke, Desi smiled and saw the girl shining a bit brighter now. "Well, Mary Louie, wanna come to the café with me? I was gonna head home but I think I could use some hot tea and maybe a cinnamon roll. I could show you a bit of the town on the way, if you wanna." Desi wasn't shy, far from it. She loved making friends- and this Mary Louie seemed like she'd be someone who could be lots of fun to hang out with. "Oh." Desi looked at the billboard sitting silently on the wall near them- something she felt she needed to bring up to Mary Louie was present. Something that may be better to warn her of rather than pretend it isn't a thing. "Uh, also avoid the forests at night. Some girl named Alice went missing last year around the school, but she was walking out pretty late. You're probably fine during the day though." Desi pointed at a poster on the billboard.
  7. ~Desi Vale~ Giving up on the familiar faces, Desi began walking towards the doors at the end of the hall, only to stop shortly after. Not to far away, Desi could see an unfamiliar figure. a girl who seemed to be in distress. Straightening her back, she walked towards the girl, smiling the entire way. "Hey, you okay?" Desi reached out her hand to place it on the girls shoulder, attempting to give some sort of comfort to the girl. "I've never seen you before, are you new around here? My name is Desi!" In her mind, Desi wasn't sure if greeting this girl was the right thing to do. Was this girl antisocial, and disliked any kind of human touch? Did she kill someone? Does anyone know what time it is? Huh? Time? Why would I want to know the time...? School just got out, so it's about 2:25 PM. Desi held her head- a headache? She looked around to see that everyone around her was also holding their head- what happened? "I just got out of English class, myself." Desi continued, having no memory of what just occurred- and nor would anyone else.

  13. And we've begun! http://kh13.com/forum/topic/108044-in-the-company-of-devils/ This first post is a little mild, but we don't want to have all the fun right at the start, do we?
  14. Listen. That's all you have to do. When the moon lays to rest in the dark blue bed, the wind bellows and blows across Ascendance. All you have to do is listen to the whispers. Listen to the whispers, and they will lead you to where you need to go, and what you need to find. You may be put in danger. You may be frightened and uncomfortable. You may even be pursued, but we promise; once this is all over, Ascendance will be at peace for a lifetime. This is Alice Parr; This is Jonathan Reiner; This is Percy Paulson, and I need your help. ~Desi~ "...This is largely why Romeo and Juliet should not be viewed as a love story." The last of her brown hair falling upon her shoulders once her head tilted for effect, Desi Vale continued to speak in front of the room, slightly reluctantly, but at the same time, appreciative of the opportunity to practice her public speaking. "A tragedy, perhaps, as many of these occurrences could have been avoided- but the truth behind all of this is simply that Romeo and Juliet did not even attempt to know each other- their likes, their dreams, or even their hobbies. Everything they had was simply based off of Lust." Desi always hated the story of Romeo and Juliet, which is why she was glad to finally present this paper to her teacher, and simultaneously, the entire class. She ended her presentation with a simple 'thank you,' and left the paper in a small tray on the teachers front desk before going back to her own seat somewhere in the middle row. There wasn't really much to this school- it wasn't your usual small city school with no funding, but it wasn't exactly Blackwell Academy. Of course, most of the funding went to sports, but there were still many other electives such as acting, creative writing, and chorus- which Desi herself was part of. Set up like most high schools, there were seven periods a day, with this being the final period, which meant that as soon as the bell rang, Desi would head to her locker only a few feet outside the class, store her books, and walk home. Speaking of... That sound which most students were waiting on finally came, and with it, a rush of zipping bags and rushing feet- along with a teacher trying to remind students of something no one payed enough attention to to recall. Once at her locker, with her books away, she waited a bit to see if she could catch any familiar faces before leaving.
  15. I've been waiting for someone else to reply because it's been me and you for a few posts.
  16. Sign ups will be open for about 4 days into the RP as well! Anyone who has already signed up by then can make new characters whenever they feel.
  17. ~Miles "Tails" Thompson~ "Yep!" Miles placed his backpack down briefly to talk to Luigi a bit more comfortably. "Summer vacation now. Everything's been cleared out. I'm heading to work now, but if you want, come by and we can talk there?" Miles offered to the man of green. Picking up his backpack again, he headed into the T-Mobile shop, immediately greeted by a grumpy landlord- or boss. Sometimes she preffered one over the other. "So, schools out, and you're late on the first day of your summer? Not really good for you." The woman stomped, her hair bouncing with each tap. "Hurry up and put on your uniform, I'll be waiting!" Miles wore a smile, although internally he was a bit annoyed. He hurried up the stairs, unlocked the attic door, and rushed himself in. His room was pretty barren- just a desk and a bed on the farthest corners of the room- if you could call it that. Above his door was a camera that he was sure the woman he called his boss, Mrs. Teeds, monitored him with. He was glad his bed was was far enough to be invisible to the camera. Being watched while sleeping was something he didn't like the idea of- or changing. He grabbed his uniform from the desk, and went towards his bed where he would be unseen. Taking off his day clothes, he hummed a song to himself that he couldn't really remember where he heard it from. Now fully dressed, he headed back down, and joined the women behind the store counter. ~Silver Giorno~ "Hmph." The grunt in his throat was just as loud and rude as he intended. If the men heard it, however, he knew they'd become irritated. "I suppose I'll work with these beginners for now." Silver dropped his jacket, shoving it into his backpack. Now in his black undershirt and jeans, he looked back at the Guzma. "You're the leader, right? Tell me what to do."
