  1. (Basically just a lot of fighting.) Blitz and Sonic finished the last two remaining uncontrolled striders on the field and turned to face the two guys who had recently shown up. Who was the scary looking guy with the ghost as a strider, and what about the dude with the crazy powerful sword? He didn't know what to think, but if his luck held true, they probably weren't friends. Honestly, how could he have expected to have made this many allies in a day without making enemies to boot? Zero and Absol dropped out of fusion mode, both landing exhausted on the ground, panting heavily. It would be a bit before they could contribute once more to the field of battle, but they had accomplished what they needed to do. (I felt as though the story needed to move past the continuous fighting against faceless creatures and onto more interesting topics. Also, evil characters are allowed to be in general more powerful than good characters due to the relative lack of numbers.)
  2. Jykell looked at Anthony, confused at the odd mix of emotions playing across it. "He said he could help me make things clean and orderly. I like clean and orderly. Don't worry, I'll make things better for everyone if I go with him, and I'll share this better world with all of you," Jykell finished with a smile. He then turned away to face Cassius. "Can we go to a better place now?"
  3. Troy woke up, again, to the now familiar sound of Ventus's voice in his head. "Come on! We're only given today for sure, and I don't want us wasting it asleep." Troy had gotten used to Ventus by now, and actually sort of found him a fun guy to have around, so to speak. "Alright then, what to do today?" he asked out loud in that vague way he had developed of speaking to Ven while sounding like he was talking to himself as to not worry his parents or have people think him a weirdo. "You mean after the obvious breakfast and kendo practice?" Ven answered rhetorically. Troy simply rolled his eyes. "Yeah, after that." Ven had made a point of having Troy practice backhanded with a sword everyday for a few reasons. First off, it was a great exercise and team building activity. Second, it was fun for Troy and made Ven feel more at ease in this weird world he'd been thrust into in which he had no control. Finally, Ven could secretly tell that something bad was on the horizon and that somehow he'd get sucked into it. He wanted Troy to be as prepared as possible. "Well, since you got all of your homeschooling for the week knocked out yesterday, I thought we'd travel around, see the sights, and try to find some really good ice-cream. I don't know why, but I feel like me and ice-cream is a thing, or should be a thing," responded Ven. "No complaints here," thought Troy as he headed downstairs to breakfast. After his kendo practice Troy started walking around New York City, taking in all of the sights and sounds, going into shops, and in general enjoying himself. Ven was happy too, but only because this provided a nice distraction from his loneliness. Aside from Troy, Ventus didn't have a soul in the world. (OOC: This would be an excellent point in time for Keilani to meet Troy and hit it off, in my opinion.)
  4. (Sorry guys! I wasn't on last night.) Name: Troy Appearance: Inhabiter: Ventus Weapon: Wayward Wind Personality: A rather carefree and fun-loving guy, he also has a firm sense of right and wrong and a strong distaste for bullies. Age: 16 Height/Weight: 5'11"/136 lb
  5. "Good call," shouted Absol Zero to Takeshi, after which he rushed through the remaining enemies, ending up facing away from town from them, having inflicted minor wounds on them all as he passed as to draw their attention towards himself.
  6. (I guess my guy with Ventus will be just a random guy. I don't see why Mariah would lose Tifa and gain Aqua, though, or why Joy would lose Cloud, as they are both in Kingdom Hearts and it has been established that Final Fantasy characters who've made appearances in Kingdom Hearts may be used as Inhabitors.)
  7. "You kidding me bro?" called out Blitz to Takeshi as he kicked a strider into the air, followed by Sonic spinning down on it to defeat the enemy. "Who do you think sent all of these striders? Armies like this don't pop out of no-where! Vallen knew about the gathering and sent these forces out to try to take us down!" Absol Zero called out "I'm surprised that he didn't send his own men after us. Who knows? Maybe these are just a warm up and his human/strider pairs are coming for us later." With that he cleaved a large strider in two with his scythe and leaped into the air, launching a blade of wind down below him. Their numbers were dwindling, Gwen noticed, and so she attempted to take some of the last few out. Escavalier charged forward, energy jetting out from the back of his arm lances. Gwen, however, rarely thrust her lance, using it more as an over-sized baseball bat. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the brilliant shining light and turned to face it's owner, praying that it was an ally, and not an enemy. Chop Chop ripped through the battlefield, slicing through enemies with a vengance and guarding when need be with his shield. He would even on occasion use Bramble Vines to strike groups of enemies with vines made of bone swarming from the ground. Necro stood back, however, having no offensive power. When a strider managed to get to his position, Necro covered his face with his hands, confident that he had reached his end. He was surprised when a pale white light shot out of his hand and slammed into the strider, knocking it to the ground far away.
  8. Kusarigama, deciding it a better course of action to put out fires rather than chase what seemed to be an enemy, summoned his broom once more and began creating vacumes of air to suffocate the flames (Which would make for a great band name, imo. Suffocate the Flames, that is, not vacumes of air.). As soon as this was done he would set out to the bus again where they would all regroup.
  9. Good for you, man! Keep up the awesome, and we'll keep up the likes.
  10. You mean aside from Mickey? Nah, I'm pretty sure it'd just clutter up the already slightly confusing story line. That makes perfect sense for a fanfic, though.
  11. (It's really your call, Number XV, if you want to end it now or keep it going for just a little bit longer. I mean, right now everything's basically all, "And once again, the day is saved, thanks to... the Powerpuff Girls!" Ya know? I mean, bad guys defeated so...)
  12. (Sounds legit to me. I just realized that August started out British and lost that a looooong time ago.)
  13. (I don't see how James could come back, but that'd sure make things really interesting. I'm not sure how anyone with Namine as an Inhabitor would fight, but if you've got an idea about that or want help thinking about that, then sure! I'd love to do a Namentus pairing, since Roxas was basically Ventus without Ventus's memories anyway.)
  14. "Clean and proper?" Jykell whispered to himself. That sounded wonderful. What about the blood on his hands though? Weren't they clean already? Jykell could have sworn he just washed them. He checked once more. Yes, they were perfectly spotless. What about the new guy, then? Jykell didn't know him, and wasn't comfortable with unfamiliar things. The figure standing before him, however, looked perfectly neat and like a proper gentleman. Jykell decided. "Clean and proper sounds very nice, Mr...?"
  15. Hyde burst holes through people with his Vector Arrows, and used his ability to change his soul wavelength to make it incompatible with each person he came in contact with, so when he shoved some of his soul's energy into them, they would practically explode. All of this blood and carnage... it felt good. He placed a series of Vector Plates below some helpless citizens which flung them into the nearest burning building with such force that it began to collapse around them. After each and every one of them was dead, the Vector Storm appeared once more around Hyde, leaving Jykell in his place. Jykell looked around himself in horror and disgust. Had he done that? There was so much blood. Bodies were thrown everywhere. This simply would not do. There must be order and cleanliness. He used Vector Plates to move things around, and soul stitches to fix things back together. Everything else he simply tossed into the nearby river. There, much better.
  16. (OOC: I love how your mission was to put out fire and now you're making unquenchable flames. Things definitely changed here. At least they were put out.)
  17. (OOC: Ventus for me, then, because I don't have a character left. Question: Since it's in the same universe would people be able to pick Final Fantasy characters that hadn't been used in this rp as well, or just KH characters?)
  18. (OOC: Because witches are balls hard to kill, and I figured people wanted as much experience as they could get before facing one. Anyways, I've edited it now.)
  19. (OOC: That would be the most intense of intense things, but characters would be incredibly limited.)
  20. Koneko was off to the side, helping someone get their table set up. Jykell set up his booth on the outskirts and tried to help people get their food and supplies in a nice, orderly manner. With all of their normal supplies gone, this aid was necessary for all of them. They continuously rushed his stand, though, pushing past one another and even fighting over the food. Jykell didn't know how to handle the situation with all of the people kept tripping all over themselves coming towards him. The last straw was when Joey Wheeler tripped and spilled his food all over Jykell, ruining his new clothes and totally invading Jykell's personal "sanity bubble". "That's it!" Jykell yelled, his voice changing on a fundamental level, becoming much more harsh and vicious than it had ever been before. Vector Arrows shot up from around his feet in a storm, completely surrounding him in a vortex of blackness. When it'd dissipated, Jykell was no more. In his place, was Hyde. And it was time to have some fun with these slime balls for humans. (OOC: I was under the impression that you could get the witch's soul, then the rest of the souls you needed. I didn't know that the witch's had to be the last one. I appologize, and will edit my post. Crap, now he won't be nearly on Archer's level.)
  21. Welcome to kh13! Always glad to get a new member!
  22. (OOC: Iamkingdomhearts1000, the rules specify that the Strider must be non-human in appearance and less than 5 feet tall, less than 1.75 meters if you use the metric system.) Blitz looked over to Serah and said "She's right. This entire time I've been with Sonic I've learned to fight pretty well and work with him to get things done, but we've only ever fused once, and that was a bit of a fluke. If we're gonna take Vallen down, we'll need all the power we can get. Never before has anyone had such unrestricted access to the magic within the Other Realm as he does now." Gwen rushed up to Zero's side, taking notice of the mask he eternally wore, but not questioning it for the moment. Escavalier followed closely behind. "Don't worry, we're here to help!" she called to him. "Great, now I'll have to look out for these guys as well," said Zero to Absol. Absol shook his head and sighed. "Well at least they mean well," the strider voiced, trying to look on the bright side of things, a challenge, given their current situation. Zero then turned to face Gwen. "Look, have you guys even learned how to fuse yet?" he asked. She looked at him with a confused expression. "Figures," he retorted, clenching his teeth beneath the mask. "Look, striders come from the Other Realm, right? A place of magic that allows them to do what they do and which has gifted us with our abilities through our connections with the striders. Since our souls are compatible and we come from different plains of the same reality, a human and strider pair can fuse together, gaining abilities greater than either has individually. It puts a considerable amount of wear on the body, though, but when necessary, it's worth it." Turning to face Absol he said "Time for us to give a little demonstration." Absol nodded, and in a burst of light and magic, the two forms were replaced by the one fusion, his large, gleaming scythe the very visage of death. "Now, time to take on an army!" the fusion shouted, the voices of both Absol and Zero ringing out. Gwen was stunned.
  23. Kusarigama, upon hearing Archer's warning, mistook it for a challenge. "I won't let you hurt any of my fellow students! As the Student Government Association's President, I have a duty to protect them, and protect them I will!" he shouted. "Guys, avoid the battle and focus on eliminating the fires! Quickly, or else this entire district could burn down!" Facing Archer, Kusarigama proclaimed "I may not yet be a Death Scythe, but if I need to defeat you, then I'll take you on without hesitation!"
