Destroyed? You said he faded into darkness. What about the BbSFM secret episode ending? Ven disappears from CO giving an opening for Xehanort to re-awaken Vanitas. If Riku who is the hero of darkness can wake from slumber and Roxas a shell destined to return to darkness who (maybe) returns as his own being then why can't someone from the dark like Vanitas not do the same?

Maybe Vanitas comes back in some what the same way ventus comes back... Knowing that Ven would come back Xehanort revives Vanitas to try and forge the X-blade again.

Kingdom hearts is my favorite video game of all time! I normally find Disney boring but THIS finally brings out the hardcore time that Mickey, Donald, and Goofy deserve.
