Now that we had a great new update to the site and figured out any kinks we can now plan to add new content pages and guides for the site and we are looking for people that want to help lead this new project. Honestly although I enjoy playing as Riku it was predictable and we have already played as him. It will be a completely wasted opportunity if it turns out no other characters are playable when we know Nomura could have worked in more characters and knows there's a hugely popular demand for them. I am still holding out that this is still the case and there are others playable as well. It could've been fit in the storyline and on the PS4/Xbox1 capabilities so really there's no excuse in my opinion.

Nomura stated in many previous interviews he wrote this as he went. What I wonder is, if he realizes how awful he is at doing so? Is he aware? He's admitted to knowing some fans think it's hard to comprehend and follow but it's unclear if he gets why ( and I do get all the story- too well lol) I suppose in some cases if you are a good story teller you can get away with this well. But he's not. I do think you are spot on about tapping into emotions 100%. KH was the first and only video game series that elicited emotions from me and the reason why I became such a huge fan. As for Terra, we also don't see it from the view of someone that doesn't know that everyone he comes in contact with and helps that's a villain is a villain. We ( the player) know this from the start. He doesn't, and when he does figure out what's up he's like "Yo, I'm out" lol When he falls to darkness it was from despair and from realization of what's happened and being manipulated and lied to- not from being power hungry or dark. He didn't think he was good enough so he needed more power. He was manipulated from the start to think this and Eraqus should've known from the start bc he knew Xehanort and his history and he should've known that Terra didn't really fail the MoM and what Xehanort was up to. Ohhhhhh the rant I have about Eraqus being the true idiot in BBS that could've stopped this all from the start.

I don't mind them bringing people back and even some retcons aren't so bad if they are done right and not overused and abused. But this is exactly what Nomura does wrong. He over abuses this and there is some very poor writing that literally serves no purpose and does not enriche the plot. I know that I wasn't expecting a perfectly happy ending and unicorns pooping sparkles and glitter but I think some characters deserve a happy or peaceful resolution at this point and ending things for them doom and gloom will not add any positive aspects or depth, just pure disappointment. For me this especially includes Lea and ( unpopular opinion here) Terra. Terra really got screwed getting his body stolen and totally misundestood by fans. All the trio in BBS made mistakes but I think if anyone is to blame it's Eraqus bc he should've known better all along from the get go but that's another rant lol Time travel to me always sucks except Dr. Who. I think Dr. Who does it right. I don't mind the rant - I agree with you and I myself have been exercising my KH demons in this thread hahaha!

The whole plot from the beginning has been retconned as even Nomura has admitted writing as he goes. That's never good lol. Those you listed themselves were bad enough and everything after DDD it basically a retcon and IMHO all unnecessary. If we want to go into a list go into my thread history you will see I have made many threads discussing the retcons and DDD on commited the worst. Chi/Union Cross was completely unneccessary and at first Nomura said wasn't even suppose to be canon. Then he changed that too. I'm sure just to make a buck and get more people to play while we all wait for KH3.It's why I refuse to play it. But even so as a fan I stayed. If he ruins KH3 too well I just can't keep doing that to myself.. I thought Infinity War had a lot of other hater's too? I know I saw a lot of people complaining at least. Also, yes I agree with you 100% on KH but also Nomura's track record leads me to believe this is gonna be bad

Well they have laid out since DDD how they were gonna bring them back. They were able to grow their own hearts and from that they can be their own person. From there they can find bodies somehow. Nomura will create some plot point.lol Then there's ATW's research also saying they can all be saved. We don't know if they will be killing Lea or if this is all meant to be red herrings and build tensions but I don't trust Nomura's writing at this point. lolllll

I'm just hoping this is all red herrings bc otherwise I'm gonna be so annoyed. I'm tired of Nomura ruining this series as more time goes by with constant retcons and bad writing. I love KH but if he ruins KH3 after all this time I'll be done. Time travel was bad enough, this is just annoying. There needs to be some happiness after all this constant suffering, anguish, and pain and if not there's no pay-off to me. Just how I feel lol

This trailer disturbed me greatly. Lea better get a happy ending after all this suffering or I'm gonna be pissed and I have a feeling I'm gonna be pissed. Nomura really screwed this plot up from DDD after.... So disappointed.

Joining the Staff has some wonderful perks, like working with fellow Kingdom Hearts enthusiasts who love giving back to the fandom with the latest news and updates, and being among the first to know any details we receive from said media outlets! For News Team: What we're looking for: - Passionate about the Kingdom Hearts series and up-to-date with the latest news. - Active enough and availability to regularly watch out for news and *respond quickly* when something appears. - Eagerness to volunteer, contribute, and engage in team work. - Reasonable writing skills and appreciation for fact-checking and accuracy. Optional for News but important for KHX team: - Someone who keeps up-to-date with Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ (Japanese version and International version) would be very helpful! - Japanese language skills. For Social Media: What we're looking for: A big interest in the Kingdom Hearts series. Active enough to regularly post on the KH13 Community Twitter, KH13 Tumblr & KH13 Facebook pages. Creativity Reasonable writing skills. Typical tasks: Posting KH13 fan-content (art, videos, discussions, fictions) daily Helping to create the Poll of the Day each day. Looking for ‘other news’ to retweet on the Twitter page (t-shirts designs, music album/manga/novel releases, podcasts, etc). Coming up with ideas for new features or expanding on current ones. For Translators: We are currently looking for Japanese -> English translators to help contribute to the KH13 News Teams! We are looking for people who can give us translations of Japanese articles from popular gaming sources like Famitsu, Jump and Dengeki magazines, in addition to updates on the Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts Union x[cross]. We will provide the text for you. If you are able to translate proficiently enough to help us understand the main highlights and the essence of what is being said please apply and we can work together on helping keep our fellow Kingdom Hearts fans informed and up-to-date! • Experience is not required as we're happy to try out new people, even those who have no formal experience translating things for others • We will be taking into account your proficiency level of course, but we encourage people to try out even if they're not super confident - because even if your proficiency is not 100%, we might still be able to use your help in translating short texts for us. • You will always be credited for your work whenever your translations are used ​If you are interested, don't be shy! Nomura's words: By the way, Braig’s dealings with Master Xehanort in Birth by Sleep make sense now, as he was to become a vessel. There is a certain reason for Braig to proudly exclaim, “I’m already half Xehanort.” Isa (Saïx) is included too. I think you’ll understand the details about their circumstances eventually. What happens to the hearts of those who have had Master Xehanort’s heart planted within them? They’ll gradually be swallowed by it. As for Master Xehanort, he plans to control them completely. The planted parts of the heart are captured rather than disappear. I think it depends. Terra had MX's whole heart transfered. Even then, MX was surpised Terra's heart was still there fighting for control. Then we have others who were implanted ( knowing and unknowingly.) Braig willing did it. The rest of the Org 13 were lied to so they could be tricked and used as vessels. He also needed them to be consumed by darkness. Xemnas purposely lied to them about being able to grow hearts so they wouldn't try to regrow their own real ones since he wanted his heart pieces to take over their bodies. He also didn't want them to accidentally regrow one so he had them RTC after every mission instead of them using friendships and bonds to regrow hearts. He told them they can't feel and any feelings they exhibited were them faking. In other words he sabotaged them from regrowing hearts for a reason. Over time their hearts/bodies would be consumed. In early stages it might be possible to resist in the right conditions.
