Nirvana Chronicles: Awakening to Dawn (Role-Play(GOLD GENESIS))
This day continued to get worse. This one was impervious to fiiiiiire. She took a deep breath, and held her wand steady again. "Viola. And you?" She questioned him, hoping to stall for as much time as she could while she figured out what exactly she could do. She wasn't defenseless without her flames, but her life was made far more difficult than would be otherwise. "And why are you doing this?"

Also I forgot to mention, but I was a little peeved that Ryonne's outburst went ignored. I understand a lot is happening, but the barest acknowledgement that it happened would be enough, especially since this is intended to be an integral part of Ryonne's plotline.

Arya Stark plz Just keep in mind if you decide to do that, and I very much encourage the idea I like it a lot, that Stark's last name is actually Red, opposed to Stark. And any other variations on the werewolf concept are also welcome. And thanks for the concern, but I can function mostly fine. Ryonne can take one, maybe two on a good day with surprise. He is a duelist at heart, and confronting multiple strong opponents like that isn't his strong suit at all. As for Neena and Henry, I doubt they'll get there in time. First they have to deal with Ariana, then Ciriel actually has to convince them to join. On the topic of Intel going a bit too freely, I think it's worth noting that Venas probably shouldn't know about Messiah. It's possible that he had spies, but if he did, then why would the king show up with absolutely no idea what the Seraphim looked like, what happened to Eclaire, etc. Having spies within the Empire at Hylvania is possible, but I'm pretty sure they're a little occupied not getting mauled by a werewolf to communicate. That leaves the potential for an intercepted communication, but I'm pretty sure if Messiah was able to keep secret this long, then their comm channels couldn't be so easily hacked, and if it could by the Venas land and it's tech, then why didn't they do it before? I'm just thinking, when Jynn first showed up, he knew nothing, and suddenly he knows that Messiah is a thing, despite that not even being common knowledge within the Empire yet.I hate to go on about Game of Thrones, but it's really influenced me and my writing/characters recently, and it really drove home to me that not everybody knows everything, and how much of the stuff the characters in our games know that are actually probably well-kept secrets. If we're going to make Intel as free as we have right now, we should make mention of the hackers or spies that get it. Incredibly skilled hackers and spies I might add. Also, @Kuni when are you postinggggg

*snickers slightly because the story is dumb* I was high-jumping, and one particular jump I managed to bring my knee very hard into my face, causing my nose to begin bleeding. I'm pretty sure that is the origin for my concussion, though I also banged my head really hard on the car door Saturday evening when getting in. So it may be that as well, who knows.

Kaipora doesn't stand a chance, not with three imperials heading there. But Hylvania will definitely be successfully defended. @riku I would love some help. Were you thinking a character allied with the North, or a werewolf character? Also, real talk. I was just diagnosed with a concussion. With that, I've been told to limit my computer usage. Theoretically, this won't slow down my posts, but I just wanted people to be aware that I'll be not as active as I was for a little bit.

Final Fantasy VII Remake General Discussion
" Lightning, the heroic, pink-haired figure in cult game Final Fantasy was given a high-fashion makeover for her first modelling assignment, entering the Louis Vuitton galaxy and blurring the boundaries between reality and make-believe." If this doesn't scream quality article I don't know what does

How about next we get some characters who are weak to werewolves? Huh Scrap? After all, you've got two werewolf killers and a witcher with a silver sword. I have ONE werewolf I demand balance in the werewolf world @Vaude I certainly wouldn't mind having some allies for the defense of Hylvania. Makes my job easier.

Vortludo -- Seraphim Order -- The City of Ruin "I will see you there my lady." He said, bowing his head as Ava left. He glanced at a clock on the wall, and noting the time, decided that he would best make his way to his room as well. He wanted to jot down some notes and observations he had found after spending time in the Elven village, as well as resupply and drop off a few new additions to his collection. And he would best trim his beard and moustache back to their proper sizes and appearance. After all, a homecoming feast in the public eye, it wouldn't do to be a mess. His father always taught him that appearances are the most integral piece of your reputation, and while he begged to disagree with much of his father's solely politically minded advice, the lessons still sunk in. Cobica -- Seraphim Order -- The Grand Country of This Dumb "King" Cobica Met As soon as the door opened, Cobica leaped to the ground, ignoring the stairs. "So how exactly did your people get here? Unless you happen to be a race of fish-people, in which case I would assume you'd look a bit more scaly. You can't just swim this deep, and even if you could, you would still need to transport materials and other such things to build the place. So how did this exactly happen? And if you are the most technologically advanced people, then why haven't you expanded from this cavern. Surely your population must make this place rather crowded if your as advanced as you say." Cobica questioned as he glanced about the place, hands shoved in his pocket. Somehow, Cobica was still skeptical, despite the whole show. "And the best question is how you managed to keep it secret? Even the most disciplined men have been known to spill their guts under certain circumstances, and I'm certain that your entire population isn't full of disciplined men. At least one or two must have gone to the surface, had a bit too much to drink, then started spinning tales of your underwater city." Neena -- Tanzynite Crusade "Alright," Neena said with a curt nod. "Then how do you stop the cycle?" She questioned him, her gaze now shifting to the Dreadnought. She ate another piece of her food without letting her eyes leave him. "I know my answer. End tanzynite. But what's yours?" The Crow's Eyes -- Criminal Underworld -- The Imperial Palace "So that's it? We're just abandoning ship?" Kol asked Die after he finished explaining. She raised an eyebrow towards their leader, challenging this decision. But Die tended to not back down from a challenge. "This ship has sailed Kol. Korben fell, and he had the most brilliant minds in the world, the most powerful generals, and a complete choke on the people. Oryx has a bunch of criminals and some demons. The Seraphim Order is moving and we know that Eclaire is alive, hers and the deserter ship were picked up on Lan's satellites." Die said. Lan nodded softly. "It's time to choose the winning side. And I'm certain that that is not this side." Die continued to say, now moving from the middle of the room towards the liquor cabinet on the far end. "Alright! So what did you want from me again?" Scherp asked, rubbing his hands together excitedly. "Listen carefully next time." Heksen answered for Die. "You're coming with me and Kol to the City of Ruin. We're going to introduce ourselves to them there." "Oh right, I forgot. Because he gave us the boring job." Scherp said, glaring at Die's back. The Crow was at this point browsing the shelf with a glass in his hand. "Hey, I'll trade ya." Lan said to Scherp offhandedly as he worked on building a small device on the table. "But we need you Lan. Without you, we don't have a prayer of robbing the vault." Naja said to the Owl as she sharpened one of her knives. Lan waved her off, as if thinking 'whatever'. Kol shook her head again, then stood up. "Well, if that's all, then we'd best be going. Come on boys, we have some diplomacy to complete." The Minx said. "I hate diplomacy." Scherp grumbled softly, getting up himself. Heksen nodded in agreement, and the three began to leave. Die turned back to the others, sipping some of his drink. "We'll wait until tomorrow, after all the good folk are out of town. That'll make it easier for us." He mentioned, then went back to his drink. Lan and Naja nodded slightly in agreement before returning to their tasks. Cyler -- Criminal Underworld -- Road from Langerdon Langerdon had become dull. So many people, yet so little worth to any of it. Not a single strong one in the bunch. He whistled while we walked the country road. He had been walking for a while, hadn't really kept track of the time. He was distant from Langerdon at this point, heading towards the Elven lands. Maybe they had some more exciting things. After all, they were elves, the race of magic. And as much power as he had gotten, he didn't have much magic. The prospect excited him a little. The thought of new powers always did. There was the sound of a truck roaring down the road from behind him. Cyler turned around, and shot out a thumb, like a common hitchhiker. Truckers were always looking for a bit of company. The truck driver rolled to a stop right by Cyler and rolled down the window. "Where are you going?" Cyler asked, his voice different from what it was normally. A bit less imposing, higher pitched. Cyler had learned that this voice helped others trust him. "Biromoore. Got a shipment of ale from the capital." The trucker opened up. Cyler smiled slightly. "Think I could fit in your seat?" Cyler asked. The trucker knitted his eyebrows, then glanced to his shotgun seat confused. "Uh, yeah. You ain't big man." The trucker answered. Cyler shook his head. "I asked about your seat. Then again, if it can fit your fatass, it can fit mine." Cyler answered. And then there was one less soul in the world. Cyler opened the door, and let the body fall out onto the ground. His appearance changed to fit the truck driver's, and he climbed into the seat. The man didn't have much power, but Cyler could feel the wealth of knowledge on how to drive a truck fill his mind. The Serial Killer slammed the door shut, and pressed his foot to the pedal. There was a satisfying squelch and bump soon afterwards, and then Cyler was on his way to Biromoore, with a shipment of ale from the capital. Stark -- The North -- Siege of Hylvania In Hylvania, the attack was going well, very very well. Too well. After all, this was a city that had given itself to the rebellion. You would think that rebels would put up more of a fight. They are rebels after all. A horn blew out of nowhere. Then a ship went down, a huge chain of explosions erupting all across it's bottom. "Reload! Then take out the next one!" Stark cried to his men. They had eight anti-air guns positioned in the woods, and when hit by eight rounds at a time, things tend to go down. "Snipers, take out the heavies first!" He shouted his next order. He began putting on the last details of his armor. "Rangers, head over the walls and bolster the defenses. Take engineers with you. Berserkers, with me. We flank from the left as soon as," A second horn blew, from the right side of the attacking force. "As soon as that." Stark muttered, as from the opposite woods a tank appeared, along with several dozen soldiers. Then he pulled out his blade. "For the North!" He yelled, and ran forward. His Berserkers cried right alongside him, and though small, their force soon crashed into the still reeling Taken and Imperial troops. Stark sliced his sword cleanly through the first Taken he met, killing him immediately. As others began to point their rifles at him, he had already moved, flowing swiftly and cleanly from enemy to enemy. They fell like flies, his Berserkers assisting him. It was not long before their flanking maneuver had shifted the tides of the battle, allowing the Rangers time to get inside Hylvania. It wouldn't be long before the defenses began to reassemble. The heavy machine gun units continued to fall, almost as swiftly as they were appearing, and the tank was dealing heavy damage to those soldiers foolish enough to group together. Suddenly, another barrage of explosions marked the fall of the second assault ship. Stark smiled, but he was unsure if his men could keep this up for long. After all, it was only going this well because of the surprise they had. But if they could get things done quickly enough, and this enemy commander was as poor a strategist as seen so far, then they could win this battle easily enough.

Well this was not how she had imagined her day would go. A quick trip to the walls to help with repairs and suddenly there were intruders. Viola moved past several soldiers that were bustling the opposite direction. She held her wand tightly in her right hand, ready for an attack. She made it to the top of the walls, and was greeted by a site of chaos. Corpses lay as the two assailants wept the floor with the soldiers on duty. In a moment, Viola had drawn a six-pointed star in the air with her wand, glyphs appearing at each point and intersection. "Hexastellar Flame!" She cast the spell, each glyph then summoning a fireball and they all flew straight towards the intruders.

That's not true though "Ozpin: The question is... Qrow: What's that going to do to you? Ozpin: You have a tough decision in front of you Miss Nikos. There's no guarantee this transfer will work. And there's no telling if you'll be the same person if it does." RWBY VOLUME 3 CHAP 6(the dumb expo chapter)2015 It's heavily implied that aura is something that constitutes a person's entire being, and getting someone else's aura is not the same as just casting a healing spell or some nonsense. Their aura is theirs, and your aura is yours. The two mixing is entirely unprecedented, and no one knows what will happen, but the common thought seems to be that Pyrrha's identity will be compromised as a consequence.

I think you missed the point. It's not a matter of whether she is helping people or not, or which position has her help more people. The aura transfer that she would have to go through in order to become the maiden will potentially change who she is. Losing yourself is a big deal. Your entire identity, personality, etc. gone. The drama is turned up to 10 when you think about the other people in her life. If she were alone, she'd make the choice in a heartbeat. But she has her family, Nora and Ren, and Jaune, people who love her for who she is. She doesn't want to leave those people behind. When Jaune said that she should follow her destiny, she burst into tears because she knows that what he wants will hurt him, perhaps most of all.

_Terra_ Terrence shook his head regretfully at Sophia's note about what had attacked them. If it had gotten Sophia this shaken up, something must have been seriously wrong. "If you say so," He whispered. It was very soon after that they ran across Lukas. Finally. Terrence smiled grimly to the boy and gave a slight wave in return. Then Sora promptly got out of the car to greet the new person. What a social kid. "Sora, this is Lukas. Your actually pretty similar in age aren't you? Lukas, this is Sora. He's Sophia's nephew. But back on topic, Lukas, why did you run away? You know that there's nothing out here on the streets for you, and a lot of people would give a lot for the warm, safe bed you have available. Can't you just go home? Please?" <Terra> Tina immediately knelt by Kievan. "Kiev... Are you okay?" Tina sounded a little shaken up by the thing that had just happened. And... she felt like it was the same as when she had seen the flashes of all those places, all those people. "Do you need to get checked out?" *Yuffie* Amber waved good bye to Kievan and Tina as they left, and as soon as they were gone, Amber leaned back in the chair and propped her feet up on the desk. Two days in a row of pulling front desk duty... This was a nice change from the tedious housework she always had to do. When Zach came back down the stairs, she looked to him and shrugged. "I don't know. Some journalist lady that came in yesterday and is staying now. Since she's staying here, if you stick around long enough, she's certain to come back before long." [Tifa] Krissa was startled... Well that much should have gone unsaid. "Sir?" She asked, her tone unsure. "I'm so sorry but I don't know you, or the Tifa you speak of." The Bartender said, gently pushing the blonde amnesiac away. She waved Elysia away when she was questioned, there was no need for any kind of serious intervention after all. And Krissa could more than take care of herself. But she was scarcely paying attention to the FBI agent, her focus quickly diverting entirely to the man. There was something in his eyes, in those spiky blonde locks... They were hauntingly familiar. A sharp pain crashed into her head... A star-filled sky on a green field... And this man and her, speaking, more than speaking, understanding. It all meant so much and so little. Krissa stumbled backwards a bit, having to catch herself on a chair so as not to fall. She shook her head, attempting to clear it before attempting speech again. She looked again to the man, her eyes now more suspicious than startled. What was that vivid image? "Who are you?" She asked.

I would love artwork of any kind' bad artwork, good artwork, plain artwork The thing is, I really wouldn't worry about interpretation. I feel like I want my characters to be open to like "eye of the beholder" or whatever artsy term. Like the stuff that Daniel's done for me has been off helluva lot, but I love the way he interprets my characters, so those images tend to become my image for them anyway. AKA I LOVE ARTWORK WHO CARES ABOUT WRONG DEETS
