((Sorry for replying so late, I was quite busy during Halloween.)) Elliot and Faith were both covering their ears when the song suddenly cut off and out of the corner of his eye, he saw the allied witch crashing into a house. "Hey-" He was about to make sure the witch was ok, but alarms rang in his head. Quickly, Elliot fell back, just barely dodging the punch as it brushed against his nose. Falling on the ground, he quickly recovered and jumped a few meters away from Blue*Star. "This isn't fair! Why is this guy so flexible with his abilites?" Faith sounded annoyed and Elliot silently agreed. And the worst part is, Elliot highly doubts this guy isn't even being serious about this battle. 'Alright think, since he endured that sound from that witch earlier, I'm nearly 100% sure he cannot hear very well. And since he's not in rhino form, he can't take many attacks head-on. So if I can take him by surprise before he could change his form..' Elliot got into battle stance as he drew his bow. First, he shot multiple rounds of arrows consisting a mix of plain-looking, and explosive arrows, most of them heading straight to Blue*Star. "..." Faith was focused, it seems she know his plan.

Seeing Blue*Star charging at the allied witch, Faith began to worry. "Hey, we need to help him." She turned to see Elliot looking hesitant. "Wait, I think he wants to take care of this guy by himself." Faith couldn't help but roll her eyes. "I didn't come here to watch a fight, we might as well assist him." She heard her meister sigh and he drew his bow, and that's when the male witch decided to unleash a powerful noise as Faith even in weapon form could hear blasting in her ears. Instinctively, she covered her ears as windows shattered around them. '**** it! He should've given us a warning!' Faith gritted her teeth in pain, it felt like her brain was about to explode any second. Elliot wasn't expecting the sound too as both of his hands were clasped over his ears with a pained expression.

Elliot ran down the streets in the east side of Death City. Whenever he counters a citizen, he shouts at them to head toward the academy before he continued to run toward the area where the cloaked figure and the allied witch was. "Hey, how much farther?" Even when Faith is in bow form, Elliot could tell her confidence was starting to waver. "We're almost there, are you sure you can handle this?" He hoped Faith would change her mind so he could turn back, and get someone more capable. Just as his partner was about to answer, a large barrier was formed around them, covering the east side of Death City. "What is this? Magic?" Faith shifted uncomfortably. Elliot frowned. Is it? The only witch soul he could sense was the male witch surrounded by those birds. "I don't know, but I think this barrier is going to prevent us from leaving." "Then we have no choice but to defeat that cloaked figure right?" Faith sounded hopeful as Elliot nodded. "Right." He took off again down the street and quickly turned the corner just in time to see the witch's attack against the invader. Seeing all those sharp feathers flying right at the invader's face made Elliot feel relief that the witch was on their side. "A-amazing!" Faith yelled. That's when Elliot noticed something from the invader. The boy had a star shaped birth mark on his forhead. 'Don't tell me he's from..' Elliot couldn't help but blurt out, "The Star Clan?!"

While listening to Lord Death's order, Elliot sensed the two evil souls disappearing and his shoulders drooped in relief. It seems the two normal souls managed to fight them off. That's when Liz reported something about Death City being attacked by hooded figures and clowns. As some meisters, weapons, and witches were leaving, Faith turned to Elliot. "So? What do you want to do? Beat up some people or beat up some clowns?" Her voice sound more excited about beating up those hooded figures. Elliot sighed, he didn't want to tell her this but, "I think we should focus on protecting the civilians from clowns, you're uh...not trained enough to fight against someone possibly strong." His weapon partner puffed like a little stubborn child. "What? A few months at DWMA is not enough? I'm tired of killing the same old crap. What if those hooded guys are actually weak?" As Faith said that, he knew she wasn't going to budge unless she get what she wants. Elliot wished he could tell how powerful those mysterious people are, however now that a bunch of evil souls entered Death City, it was really hard to tell with his Soul Perception. After a couple of awkward minutes, Elliot admitted with defeat. "Alright, we'll go east with the witch guy. But if it gets too dangerous, we leave right away and get help ok?" Faith looked happy then shifted to fear when he mentioned 'witch' and suddenly to confusion. "Wait guy? I thought that witch is a girl?" Elliot frowned back, "He doesn't look like a girl," " "Yes she does! Her hair is kinda long and I thought all witches are usually females?!" "That's true, but somewhere I heard there was a rare case when a witch was male." "Ugh whatever! Lets get going!" Faith glowed brightly as she transformed into a bow. With a tiny bit of worrying lingering in his mind, Elliot started running toward the east side.

When Lord Death showed up, Elliot couldn't help but stare at him in awe. The only time he met Lord Death was when he first joined DWMA, but it was only through a mirror. Now here he is, the current Shinigami present before them. As Lord Death continued to speak, his Soul Perception suddenly picked up five souls nearby. Two evil souls and three normal souls. More specifically, one of the three normal souls is a weapon. Sensing a weapon among the souls, he guessed he shouldn't worry; however his heart dropped when one of the normal souls disappeared (the merchant). "Hey what's wrong?" Faith must have noticed his discomfort. Elliot leaned over to her ear and whispered. "I sense two souls being attacked: one is a weapon, and one of them is already dead." His voice wavered. He wanted to grab Faith and head to the area but he needed to listen to Death's request. 'But one of souls is a weapon, the other soul could possibly be a meister.' "If one of them is a weapon, you shouldn't worry," Faith gave him a tiny smile. "Don't underestimate them." Elliot let out a tiny laugh, "You're right." 'I hope I don't regret this decision.'

((So are we waiting for Nadia and Andreas to arrive at the academy until Kid shows up?))

"Nice to meet you Melusine, my name is Elliot." He shook her hand. 'I see, so Lord Death asked the witches for help too.' While pondering in thought, he felt Faith lightly elbowing him in the ribs. Startled, Elliot snapped back into attention. "Ah wha-" He focused back on Melusine. The witch seems to be staring at Faith as she twitched in discomfort. This must be her first time encountering a witch, he remembered Faith reading a few books about witches whenever she was super bored. 'If I recall correctly, those books make witches seem frightening.' Elliot put a hand on Faith's shoulder as comfort as he took a step away so Melusine can fully see her. "This is Faith, and yes she's my weapon though we haven't been partners for long." He turned to Faith, gesturing her to shake the witch's hand. At first, Faith stood there frozen, staring at Melusine's hand like it was going to explode. However after a few seconds, his partner cautiously raised her hand slowly, reaching for the witch's hand until finally she quickly shook it and brought it back like it was on fire. 'Well at least she managed.' He thought in relief. - - - - - Her heart thumped rapidly against her chest as she retracted her hand after shaking Melusine's hand. Faith was sure Melusine can easily transform her into a frog but was surprised when nothing happened. 'I...should stop reading fairy tales, it's really starting to affect me.' She tugged at Elliot's sleeve to signal that she wants to leave ASAP. Understanding the situation, Elliot nodded. "Um, it was nice meeting you Melusine. I hope we get to work closely together in the mission." 'Please no..' Faith begged silently in her head. Before the witch could respond, Faith grabbed her partner by the arm and dragged him away up the stairs. Reaching the top of the stairs, there were already some meisters and weapons. The one that was standing out was another person who looked like a witch but she was talking to the birds on her shoulders though Faith had no idea if that witch was just crazy or she's actually talking to them.

Elliot scanned through the letter for the 10th time as he and his weapon Faith, head toward the academy. He was really shocked to see the letter in their mailbox a couple days ago. At first, Elliot thought it was just a prank, like getting a letter from Lord Death? That's not something you find in your mailbox everyday. Then as the days continued to go on, he found more and more evidence that proved the letter was really from Lord Death. 'A very important mission, even more important than the mission to stop the Kishin 15 years ago..' He glanced at Faith who was walking abit ahead. It only has been a few months since they last partnered up together, is it really safe for her to be in this mission? - - - - - Faith let out a big yawn as she stretched her arms. "Did you sleep late again?" Elliot was walking next to her with a worried look on his face. He always warned her not to sleep late since it leads to bad health and all that, but Faith isn't the type of person to keep promises."No.." She mumbled, trying to avoid his eyes. Faith heard a sigh come out from Elliot which means he saw through her lie. She cursed underneath her breath. She's usually good at lying, however ever since she began to live with this guy, it was getting harder and harder to fool him. Before he could give her a lecture about maintaining good health, Faith immediately cut him off by saying, "Hey look." She pointed at a girl who was climbing the stairs. Just from looking at her, it was obvious she was a witch. The crooked tipped hat, wand, and a bellowing cape literally screams witch from miles away. Elliot walked up to the witch with his usual friendly smile. "Hi there, did Lord Death ask for your assistance?" As her meister questioned the witch, Faith hid behind him. Who knows if this witch can transform Elliot into a potted plant like the stories said.

When Faith demanded an answer for Elliot's behavior, his answer was simply because he was hungry. Everyday after that, he would come by, run into Faith, and treat her to lunch or dinner. Suddenly, a couple of evil humans crashed into the plaza while Elliot and Faith were eating. Soon they were surrounded and when all hope was lost, Faith suddenly transformed into a bow to Elliot's shock. Without thinking, Elliot grabbed the bow and started shooting the clowns, somehow their soul wavelengths perfectly matched. After he cleaned up the mess, Elliot asked Faith if she was interested in attending DWMA, promising her a home to stay at. After many thinking, Faith decided to go and they became officially partners. Personality: Stubborn and anti-social, Faith is almost the complete opposite of Elliot. She tends to be lazy but if Elliot ask nicely, she's willing to work hard. Soul Eater
