With Kingdom Hearts: The Novel releasing in English for the first time on Tuesday (March 24th, 2015), we thought it would be the perfect time to run another competition! This will be a fan-art competition with the chance of winning a copy of the (English) Kingdom Hearts: The Novel. The competition is simple and clean: create a fan-art based on an event/scene in the first Kingdom Hearts game (like an illustration you’d find with the possible chapters in the novel), and it must be created specifically for this competition. In High School (or in Scottish translation: Secondary school) I was very much to myself until my last year, and it was probably my best. Got more involved with the school, committees and events and it made it a great memorable year for me. Became the photographer for the school yearbook, talked to more people and I also did a comedy sketch for a talent show which got 37.5/40 points while the winner got 38/40 points, which sucked but for the rest of the year people were complimenting me and saying "oh, you're that guy!" Definitely a word of advice going through school; obviously focus on your studies, but besides that don't sit on the sidelines, try to get involved, show interest to people (even people you don't like), and be kind. School years are definitely what define you as a person and you'll find the benefits of school if you do that!

Hey. Just thought I'd start posting about my film reviews here since I'm gradually going into game reviews, and will hopefully be including Kingdom Hearts in my next film review which I'll hopefully get done in the next few weeks! Also because there may be film fanatics out like myself and may be interested. ANDREW HANKINSON Graphic Designer / Photographer / Geek I’ve been a part of KH13 for 3 years and part of the KH13 team for half a year, and have only just noticed there was an ‘Introduce Yourself’ forum, so thought it was about time I said hello!!! Hey Kingdom Hearts fans. How are you doing? I’m Andrew Hankinson aka by my KH13 username…AndrewHankinson; imaginative I know! I’m a member of the KH13 News and Social Media Team, mainly helping out on the KH13 Community Twitter page, fan-art/fiction competitions, the polls of the day and finding out news on Kingdom Hearts. I'm 21, Scottish, and aspiring to be an graphic designer while I study BA Graphic Design at Glasgow Clyde College! For as long as I can remember I have felt a strong affinity for the visual arts. My varied learning experiences have convinced me that my true passion and interest lies in the application and use of Graphic Design. As for me generally, I am a full-time geek. Comic-book-collecting, video-game-playing, film-watching/analysing, superhero-adoring, typography, art geek with a special adoration for Kingdom Hearts in particular. I’ve loved Kingdom Hearts since 2004 after seeing it in a game magazine at the hairdressers I used to go to as a kid. It was the highlight of going to the hairdressers for me (as I hated getting my hair cut) and when I saw a pre-owned version of the game in a shop, I begged my parents to get me it and loved it. I got a new copy of the game eventually you’ll be pleased to know! And when KH2 came out I rushed to the GAME shop after school to buy it and it wasn’t on the shelves; I asked at the desk and they said they were selling it yet. I was gutted…but then the guy found a copy behind the desk and I was overwhelmed! Last of Us and Arkham games are brilliant, but Kingdom Hearts is the best! So when I saw that KH13 were looking for new members in August 2014, I immediately applied and have loved working with KH13 since. One of the biggest highlights of 2014 was attending the Europe Launch Event of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX in December on behalf of KH13. Yeah I live near Glasgow and the event was in London, but it was worth it and hope to attend if it happens again! I am also a real movie enthusiast and have a deep interest in photography, film and cinema. It amazes me how directors are able to portray moods just through camera angles, colours, sound and lighting; I especially love the soundtrack in films (John Williams, Danny Elfman & Hans Zimmer are my favourite composers). As a hobby I often write film reviews on my website and there are link below if you’re interested! Did you see the teaser for Kingdom Hearts III at one of the Launch Events? If so, what did you like about it?

It was a very similar style. As said in the article, there was soft lighting coming form the window which made it beautiful. And there was more realistic movement (the wind and the curtains and Sora's hair when he's moving)
